Great French restaurant close to the centre of the city. The quality of the food was consistently excellent across all courses and dishes. The serving size on some dishes, such as the lamb rack, could definitely be a little larger but overall the dining experience was great. Would highly recommend the Duck Liver Parfait and the Duck Pie. Staff were attentive and the service was all round great. I also loved the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant, perfect for a romantic evening or an intimate dinner with family or friends.

Found this place due to a deal on The Fork. Great find. Nice french food with cute ambience. The baguette was a touch stale and service forgot us a couple of times, so 1 star off. Tuna nicoise and rack of lamb were excellent. Good serving sizes

While Claire's kitchen isn't the best french restaurant in Sydney, I have to say I have never had a bad dish here and the staff are always really friendly.

Step into a little Paris with live show on the 2nd floor and cozy quaint atmosphere downstairs. What a charming place with happy attentive servers and great dishes.

The food was all very delicious (personally, I liked the scallops for the entree the most) and the staff were super friendly. The person at the door greeted my partner and I with our names after checking for the vaccination which made us both feel special. Everyone who served us were very attentive. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant too. Would love to visit again sometime 😊

The place looks nice but for what I was expecting it was a let down. For the price you pay for everything your expect fine dining but some things is just not that great. They keep trying to upsell drinks which gets annoying. Food was average. Did not feel great after eating so something must have been a bit off. Service was lacking in passion and care. Giving complimentary chocolates with the bill is rude as it forces you to pay tips. Not woth it

Really nice restaurant! Beautiful settings and delicious food. If you are a group of five or more, you will get seated in the dramatic marble table. It’s a bit intimidating but it adds to the experience. The set menu is worth it as well, and if you choose well, you can be full on the appetizer and main meal alone, and then get wine instead of desert.

As always, great French food, fantastic service. Love the decor as well as the range of wines. I've been here 3 times, once for a corporate function. It's my perfect restaurant of choice.
C. Y.
Totally personal view, it does not suit my flavor.
5 stars for the service but 2 stars for the food. Snails were fine. Brûlée was a bit greasy for me, maybe because it was served cold. Beef cheeks with red wine and chocolate sauce looked fancy but had an odd mixed flavor. Vegetables do not have flavor.
Love the truffle chocolate and the macaron. The service was pretty good.

Loved the romantic French vibes and food! Service was a little slow as there was a show that night, but they were courteous and gave us heads up on it. The duck liver parfait and scallops were my favorites.
R. P.
Amazing staff and service. Parisian atmosphere. The scallops and duck pie were both amazing. The only thing that was disappointing was the small range of French Champagne and Chablis. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are after a small slice of Paris. 🥂🥂🥂
P. S.
two dining areas, casual dining and the upstairs holds performances. quite cute, cosy, and perfect for date night. Now the food was on another level delicious, great staff. I'd def go there again.

We reserved a table here for my wife’s surprise birthday party for 4 and they didn’t disappoint. The dining room was bright and elegant and the staff were very welcoming and professional across the board.
The only option that evening was a set menu (with options on all courses) for $85 which consisted or an Entree, Main and Dessert (or a cocktail in replacement of the dishes).
We had spent $185 the night before at a shockingly bad dinner at The Bentley Restaurant and Claire’s kitchen was a standout in every department.
The entree of Steak Tartare came deconstructed with the elements finely positioned around the diced beef cubes. The waiter mixed them together along with the egg yolk to become a nicely balanced dish of richness and tanginess to match. It was perfect and the envy amongst other on the table. The three cheese souffle was light and rich and was the recommended dish by the waiter and the Dome of smoked salmon was perfectly accompanied by the crab and celeriac remoulade served with avocado dressing and brioche crouton.
The mains were a beef affair with Braised beef cheeks, red wine sauce; Beef tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto and Beef fillet, flambéed in cognac, with green pepper and cream sauce. All cooked to perfection in all the glory of classic French sauces that should not be understated here.
The desserts we chose the French pastry, a chocolate mousse, a crème brûlée. A perfect way to end the meal and all beautifully presented. They also wrote ‘Happy Birthday’ on the plate in French with beautiful hand writing along with a sparkler.
What must be highlighted is that although this was a fixed menu price, every dish that came was not reduced in size as other restaurants would. Each dish that arrived stood out on it’s own as if you had ordered it individually from the menu in terms of presentation and size.
The light hearted approach by staff made this French dining experience very warm and relaxed almost understating the excellent food that was made without compromise. We will definitely be back to one of the best quality and value French restaurants in Sydney.

Great and very authentic French Food, good service. Not cheap, but definitely worth to give ourselves such a good treat. So glad to finally get to visit this hidden gem in Oxford St!

It's an amazing place to go for an authentic French experience. The dishes on theyr menu at %100 French. No other fusions are allowed in this place. The staff was very very friendly and the food was so good. The only think I consider was not too good was the berries tartlette. The rest was terrific.
A. S.
Went to Claire’s for a date and it was the perfect choice. It’s a chic experience with gorgeous service by the staff, welcoming and buzzy like a Parisian bistro. I had the cheese souffle which was so delicious I forgot to take a photo, followed by beef tartare and a creme brulee which was divine. The wine list was full of unexpected French specialities that tickled the palate. Highly recommended.

I was invited to this French restaurant to celebrate a wedding and it was fantastic. It is cosy and very well decorated. Both the staff and the bosses are very sympathetic and professional. The food was just perfect, from the entree to the dessert and my Chateaubriand was very tender and cooked perfectly. Highly recommended 👍
S. H.
Nice and cozy French Restaurant. The staff it's quite friendly and polite. The portions are quite consistent!! Good selection and quality of cocktails!!
S. K.
When you're tired of hotel quarantine food, and you get delivered Claire's Kitchen, it's like taking a little trip to Paris. The food was just perfect, on the menu was the Parfait de foie de canard en petit pot as a starter, and the Steak au poivre vert as a main. I could not have enjoyed it more. Delivery was quick thanks to the beautiful Adrien delivery driver on his scooter (so French!) and the food was hot on arrival. I highly recommend Claire's Kitchen if you are looking for a sophisticated French escape. Thank you Claire!

Such a classy dining experience in the midst of King’s Cross chaos. Very attentive service with perfect wine suggestions. Always start with the steak tartare entree as it’s initial presentation is amazing, it’s preparation is an experience and the flavour is phenomenal. Great French wine menu and unlimited baguette basket for the table. On Wednesday, there is cabaret upstairs so make sure you call to reserve a table. Tres bien!
G. T.
This restaurant is absolutely fabulous . If you see haven't been here do yourself a big favor and go ..the food the staff and atmosphere supurb
S. D.
If the Beauty & Beast song “Be Our Guest” could be a venue, this is it. One of the best service experiences you’ll get (from all-French staff!) and the cabaret room menu options are generous and delicious. For $100 including the show (drinks extra) it really is extraordinary value for such a high calibre l, 3-course experience.

There’s a collective intake of breath in the intimate dining room when everyone opens their menus. Fanning out like piano accordions, each menu’s glowing white light captures guests’ faces in a state of childlike wonder as they scratch their heads and wonder what it is they’re meant to eat. Eat the pages of the menu? It’s rather absurd, but then so is the nonsensical and satirical movement Le Salon DadA is based upon.
Being familiar with Marc Kuzma’s work at El'Circo at Slide, I entered Claire’s Kitchen at Le Salon with a fair idea of what to expect. In this setting Kuzma (who is also known as Claire de Lune) has kicked things up to the next level using a City of Sydney night-time diversification grant. These monies are all about local council trying to restore some of Sydney’s faded night-time glory, decimated by Gladys Berejiklian’s lockout laws.
Kuzma’s resulting night, (which will set you back $140/head) is based upon Cabaret Voltaire, a Swiss enclave of artists escaping the First World War. DadA was anti-establishment, anti-reason and anti-logic. DadA was the antidote to the bourgeois capitalist interests that the artists believed had led people into war in the first place. Following this line, our first course takes curative form as a wartime first aid kid with tongue depressor, bandages and a petri dish containing a smooth French mushroom parfait topped with sauternes jelly. Scraped onto crackers, it’ll sustain you through your cocktail construction – the recipe and ingredients are in your bucket.
With shiso leaf-infused vodka, nettle liqueur and pomegranate cordial, it’s a tangy, slightly more sophisticated Cosmopolitan with little blasts of sweetness when the pearls of passionfruit and lime pop on your tongue. The rest of your boozing is done in the usual fashion, with many wines - including the 2017 Cave de Turckheim Pinot Blanc ($70/bottle) we selected - available by glass, carafe and full bottle.
The fresh, dry white wine proves easy to enjoy through some on-stage art that sees a semi-nude model enhanced with the f-holes from a cello, and some at-the-table card tricks. It’s a multimedia affair, with German expressionist film, The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari (1920), playing on screens placed throughout the dining room. Seen through the eyes of an asylum patient, the film may leave you wondering what’s real and what’s not.
Contortionist Jade Twist continues our surrealist descent by wearing a black zentai suit with eyes and lips in all the wrong places. Tying herself in knots until she looks like a human pretzel, Twist makes it hard to know which way is up, and which direction way is forward. It's a perfect segue to a course based upon The Persistence of Memory (1931), arguably Salvador Dali’s most famous surrealist work. From the edge of a martini glass, his melting pocket watch drips in cracker form to accompany a well-spiced cold capsicum and tomato soup. Your soup is poured from a vessel that is itself a nod to Dali’s 1972 piece, Marilyn Monroe, shown up on the screens.
It’s this attention to detail that makes Kuzma’s night so intellectually rich for art-lovers, with clever details like Marcel Duchamp’s Bicycle Wheel (1913) in the stairwell on the way up to the dining room. Even the table setting is done in the style of DadA, down to a DadA print cloth serviette. Without wanting to give it all away, the next course – the only hot course - a rainbow trout roulade, is a nod to Joan Miró. Everything on the splattered abstract plate is edible, down to the crisp fish bones. On the stage, the inimitable Shauna Jensen is clad in a thematic ‘singing fish’ (one of Miro’s recurring motifs) kaftan, as she belts out Ella Jenkins' Wade in the Water.
Jensen returns later in the evening with This Is Me from The Greatest Showman. It's guaranteed to leave you uplifted – from her talented lips the power ballad’s lyrics sound inspirational rather than twee. Le Salon DadA is a rich and punny, multimedia experience that will appeal to all of your senses.

Well, it’s always great, like it was again tonight. I waited for my Cosmopolitan, however, it was the best drink I’ve ever had, worth the wait. It was cloudy, their own recipe ( I enquired as I was so impressed) the food is consistently delicious and certainly didn’t disappoint tonight. The service is lovely and very personal in a quaint French way. I absolutely loved it, as did my guest who can be particular. They make you feel special and feed you beautiful food with generous portions. I can’t wait to go back.
I. E.
Great venue, delicious food, waiter very good on the wines. Servings are generous (a bit too generous for me).
A. K.
The place, the service, the food & the atmosphere were outstanding, real French feel with its set up,I thought that I was in Montmartre.Mark & his crew were up to the task, very professional & very good in hosting a big group🙏👍
M. S.
A little nook of elegance off a city main street. Unexpected to see such a warm and accomodating place along side clubs and take away.
We were gifted a voucher and are so appreciative of this as we know we’ll return.
The food was well proportioned. The meals we ate seemed balanced, especially the dessert.
I found the goats cheese tart overpowering, but my partner loved it. The scallops and lamb we had were cooked spot on.
Maybe French food has bled into the Australian cuisine so much we didn’t find anything overtly different from a regular restaurant, however the meals were certainly prepared far better than we’ve had before.
C. M.
We went there for the Valentine 's day .Everything was perfect from A to Z .There was even a surprise to win. I looooove that place . We will be back for the salon dada, in May for the new show
K. P.
We called last-minute asking for a table for 2, they were able to fit us in right away.
Amazing waiter, very understanding as lm trying to order in french.
Excellent service very friendly staff.
Entree, main and dessert was of high standard and taste like back in France.
We will be back, maybe for a show next time.

Came here for an early Valentine's Day dinner, can't recommend enough. Service was friendly and helpful, great ambience (definitely good for a romantic evening) and the food is spectacular. The portion sizes are VERY generous and everything I had was delicious, especially the duck pie. Being able to get 1/3 or 2/3 of a bottle of wine is also very neat, but be aware that your options are a lot more limited that way as most of the wines are only available as a full bottle, at least with the whites. We still got one that we were quite happy with though after asking for recommendations and getting to do a small tasting. Definitely plan to come back, perhaps sometime when they're doing the cabaret show.
N. H.
Great atmosphere, food & service. We enjoyed it very much. The lady waitress was very pleasant too.

Claire's Kitchen never disappoints! One of my favourite restaurants in the Surry Hills area because:
- The menu is quite different to any other options in the area, we don't get any other fine French restaurant in the hood.
- The menu changes from time to time but they keep the favourites so I can always choose to try something new or stick to what I love.
- The service is not only impeccable but friendly. Not always they make sure your glass is never empty and they explain the menu to perfection, they are also nice to talk to and they will recognise you and take care of you.
- The ambience is perfect, music is not loud, tables are apart enough and well set. You can have a conversation without raising your voice!
- Cocktails are really nice and the list menu is well prepared.
- Prices are affordable!
I recommend Claires to anyone who wants to try a friendly French atmosphere without breaking your piggy bank.
Try the scallops for entree and if you love traditional French food go for the Steak Tartare.
Cerise sur le gâteau: the host is sexy ;)

Amazing staff. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. I love this restaurant. Highly recommended for any celebration!

Came here for company Christmas dinner. We all loved it. Food was excellent and the service was great.

Salon dada by Marc Kuzma takes you to an otherwordly dining experiece. It was very well executed from start to finish. Nothing about it is boring or out of place. This is something that you need to do at least once in your lifetime. Highly recommended!

Went to Claire’s Kitchen again last night, we’ve been half a dozen times over the past 14-months and we absolutely love it. Great food, great cocktails, great service and awesome owner! Accompanied by some bloody good looking wait staff 😉🙌🏻 A must visit.

We went to the caberet event last night and had a great time! The food was absolutely amazing and served quickly with great timing in between meals. The service was really great. Lots of gluten free options which was nice! The show was amazing. All in all a really nice night. We are planning to come back soon :)

Saw the amazing Emma Pask and Dr Kevin hunt play at Claire’s last night. Amazing food, wine and service. What a gem of a place.
N. C.
Claire’s is a great place to go if you enjoy fine food and an excellent wine list. The Bordeaux Blanc was a perfect match with my 3 cheese soufflé and main. Very buzzy place - a great night!
E.
Thank you for the amazing food and service!
Everything was 10/10
We will be back 100%

Our first meal post lock down exceeded our expectations again. Can’t imagine a better dining experience 😀

Delicious three course meal and the service we received was amazing. Staff were attentive, friendly and warm. Worth a visit and would love to be back in future.
P. H.
Great food and atmosphere, staff were well trained and made the experience very enjoyable. Dessert was amazing!
J. L.
Service very friendly and professional, food 10/10. Beef tartare divine. So rare to find a good French restaurant out of France 🇫🇷, but I am very impressed with Claire’s.
J. C.
Perfect food and wonderful service.
R. B.
One of the best beef tartare we’ve ever had outside of Europe. Great location with a cosy ambience. The French food was delicious (we had a beef bourguignon).
You should go and try the Old Fashioned!
And the service was great: friendly, assistive and very professional.
Good COVIDsafe practising as well 👍
R. D.
Had a bad run of restaurants, but finally hit a great one tonight. Every dish was delicious. We had the snails and beef tartare for our entre, and our mains were the duck pie and lamb rack. For dessert we had the cheese plate. Couldn't fault a single dish and the service was great.
V. M.
We did the Sunday night special - le Salon Dada and the whole experience was just fantastic. The staging, food and service were all first class. The art was very well connected to the food. Very creative - Exceeded our expectation. Thank you to the great team for looking after us.
R. E.
There were four of us and all of us just loved everything about it... the food was superb, the service outstanding friendly and informative. I took my niece for her 21st Birthday treat... and the staff was so lovely to her... without us asking they bought a especial dessert with a sparkler and sang happy birthday with us. So lovely👍🏻😁
Definitely willbe going back
A. T.
Great food, better service, even better food!!! If you visit and don't fall in love with the place and atmosphere - ill be shocked, worth a first visit, every following visit will be history
A. S.
I have been with a group of friends on a Sunday night, there is a new show called Salon Dada. I must say everyone in the group was surprised by the staging not only of the performers but also the food and drinks. It is a really surrealist experience, the atmosphere and intimacy created, the constant stimulus to all senses, the attention to every detail is second to none. We didn’t cease to be amazed with every dish and every performance. Highly recommended!
Even if you go on a regular night you won’t be disappointed, service and food menu is always on point.
I. P.
Consistently the best restaurant in Sydney. We've been coming here for 10 years and it's always amazing. The prices are perfect for the quality of food and service, especially considering the price of pub food these days. A wonderful night out and the food melts in your mouth.
T. H.
Great cabaret show and dinner tonight. Food was beautifully presented. Brad Cooper was a delight.
J. G.
We celebrated New Years Eve 2014 at Claires. The restaurant was festive with decorations and each person received a masquerade mask which was a really cute idea. The waiters were really friendly and everyone was in good spirits. The food was good. The set menu included the baked cheese soufflé and duck pie both of which I can recommend. Overall we had a good experience.
N. H.
Excellent food and service! Had a wonderful time!
J. N.
Hands down the best value for money fine dining experience I have ever had. Impeccable service and incredible cuisine. I can highly recommend the beef bernaise for two. Cooked to perfection, it melted like butter in the mouth. Deserts and coffee were first class. Can't wait to go back.
V. S.
Excellent food. But we were being treated. Very Large portions especially for the extra veg= salad, chips, green beans. Excellent dressing on the salad. Dessert to die for. All cake based, and supper moreish. Coffee really tasty as well. Prompt serving. Easy to find as long as you get the right district
N. W.
You must have dessert! The sample platter was amazing and was served beautifully with hand made ice cream and a macaroon. Would have been a nice atmosphere if we weren't placed in front of the bar area. Escargot and mains were average. Service wasn't as attentive as expected.
W. L.
Perfect.
2 friends and I caught up after 15 years having great food, wine and cocktails. Ambience and atmosphere was perfect for conversation and laughs.
Only let down was we had to leave at 12midnight before we could squeeze another drink in.
P. K.
Fabulous evening overall! Went for the 9 May Wednesday Cabaret which featured the wonderful Genevieve Lemon. The food - which was a 3-course meal with several choices for 1st and 2nd courses - was delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. Couldn't fault the night and, at $85 for the food and show, it was great value too.
B. W.
One of Sydney's finest! We have been going to Claire's for years and this is one of our favourite restaurants. The food is spectacular, (you won't leave hungry, that's for sure!) the service is fabulous and the staff absolutely wonderful. Actually we will be back there tomorrow night again! Love this place and love Marc, Valentin, Aurelien, Rosa and the rest of the staff
M. E.
Magnifique Magnifique, the food is fantastic, the service is friendly. We dinned there several times, for our anniversary, birthdays, mother’ Day and just because!
As soon as you walk in it's like being transferred to France, the decor is great with the cosy corners and fireplace. Escargots, zucchini flower are very yummy and I have them every time for entrée, the fillet de boeuf was cooked to perfection, c'est très bon.
S. B.
Had a fabulous dining experience in the week .
They have a most extensive menu of modern and classic french dishes followed by a daily special dessert plate where you can choose a beautiful delight to finish the evening.
I would highly recommend this restaurant
B. M.
The waiters were quite friendly and precise in their serving. The food delivered promptly, but not rushed, and the quality was exceptional. The crime brûlée was my favourite. And the atmosphere was proper but still relaxed. I wish there were a French restaurant of this calibre in my home city. Tout était parfait!
L. D.
Visited for the first time this week and thoroughly blown away. The food was just delicious and the service was first class...can't wait to return for their caberet evenings.
S. K.
I had my birthday party here and also went here for dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant! Service, food and wine is excellent. I even got sparklers in my dessert! Very nice atmosphere here!
M. O.
With Marc's assistance I organised a secret proposal for my now fiance. We hired the entire upstairs room for our 32 guests, which included a mic and sound system. The set menu was delectable - I've had people texting me and telling me how delicious the meals all were, and the drink menu was fantastic, from affordable wine to prestige cognac.
Marc was a gracious host and the staff were fantastic. I couldn't commend them more on the level of service they offered us - again, I received multiple comments from friends about how great they were.
The only hiccup of a missed order (partially due to people moving around) was quickly noticed and rectified with a fresh, hot meal and a free drink.
I can't rave enough. Claire's Kitchen will always have a special place in our venues from this weekend on, and I highly recommend it to anyone else who wishes to have a pleasurable evening.
M. B.
One of my favourite places to eat in Sydney. Great atmosphere and friendly service . All the staff can speak English and French . Never had a bad dish . If you are after authentic delicious French food with a smile , look no further .
Also they have Caberet nights upstairs . Saw Matthew Mitcham last year for my birthday - amazing , such a talented young man.
I. O.
One of the best French restaurants we ever been in Sydney. Great food and service. Beautiful decor. Nice atmosphere. Recommend this place to have good night out. We'll be back.
R. M.
Hands down, the best meal I have had this year. We ordered the duck liver pate, steak tartare and the zucchini flower special to start, the beef fillet and lamb rack for mains, and the rhubarb creme brule and salted caramel eclair for dessert. Honestly, every dish was perfect, the produce is noticeably fresh, expertly prepared and surprisingly generous. The beef fillet was so tender, juicy and tasty, and while I am often left disappointed by choux pastry desserts, the eclair was a Parisian dream come true. Beyond the perfect meal, wait staff are sophisticated, friendly, polite, charming and attentive, service is perfectly timed, the furnishings are beautiful and much better than the boring minimalist stuff seen in most fine dining venues these days, even the accessible and non-intrusive jazz instrumental background music is a nice touch. The attention to detail here does not go amiss. While it is not a cheap eat, the bill offered value for money. I will be raving about this restaurant to anyone who will listen and I will definitely be back (preferably in a larger group so we can sit in one of the luxurious moss green velvet booths complete with chandelier).
J. L.
Yummers! The decor was unique and incredible. Everything was simply decadent. Everything I tried was bursting with flavor. The waiter did an excellent job. They got a new customer for life!
P. H.
A higher class of restaurant on Oxford street. Exelent selection of entrees and mains including gluten free. Wait staff are attentive but could do with greater attention to detail with cutlery placement and setting down the meals. Other than that - highly recommended.
S. R.
One of my favorite French restaurants around. Food is so full of flavor. Great wine list and excellent service. This is a must and a great neighborhood gem.
D. L.
This is the best French restaurant in Sydney. The ambience, food and customer service was all outstanding. Will definitely go back!
R. K.
Absolutely fantastic quality of food!! Chefs are very polite and portions very generous!! Tres Bien!! :D
b. w.
The tally for 2 people with drinks was $150.
excellent french food. we had the duck liver parfait + steak tartare (superb, really great meat and fresh). For mains, lamb shanks (a tad too salty the sauce but okay with the coscous), pork belly (excellent) and a side of fries. French speaking staff (superb service - really friendly) , great fitout - its really classy and elegant. Can't fault it. Will be back. Well worth a look in for a romantic classy french meal
J. D.
One of the best French restaurants we've been to. The food was just superb. All the staff speaks French and good service. Great overall experience, highly recommended.

Love the location, so close to CBD...... easy to get there by bus.... beautiful place....French atmosphere ( waitress has beautiful French accent) well explained of the menu... big portion but affordable......... fantastic dessert selection..... always happy to come back! Better book first.....
A. B.
Wow....I dont think that words will be enough to tell how amazing was the experience at Le Salon: you really have to go and see it, feel it and sence it by yourself. That was one of the evening you will definetly remember!
Everyone who made this miracle happened, put so much effort and attention to details, we felt like dearest guests-who found a secret treasure.
It was much more than a diner, you could feel the sprincles of art and inspiration in the air. It is very special place.
I really want to thank everyone who looked after us and made this evening so memorable ! :-)
P. F.
Nothing better encapsulates the perfect fusion of French and Australian cuisine than the duck pie on offer at Claire's Kitchen; rich duck, cooked to perfection with warm gooey soft cheese flowing between the succulent morsels of flesh... all wrapped up in a convenient pastry package. OK, maybe the French are doing most of the work in that collaboration.
Claire's Kitchen offers up a range of more traditional French dishes too, with impeccable service in a stylish venue. But trust me, try the pie. Just don't pick it up with your hands - you're not at the footy.
Y. N.
Celebrated a friends 50th birthday with a set menu. The food was amazing. A lot of places you pay high price but averaged food. This place was the best. Amazing food and service.
B. H.
Great food, great service, nice decor!
Entrees were delicious, with bursting flavors and textures.
Mains were the perfect size, small portions of meat complemented with a light serving of vegetables.
J. L.
Can't say no to desserts here! Dieting can start tomorrow!
R. D.
Favourite place in Sydney! Such a hidden gem - everyone I bring always returns with their friends or colleagues. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. Would highly recommend.
C. F.
Beautifully decorated and delectable menu, this is the ideal restaurant for a dinner for 2, or birthday parties. If you're a cheese lover, you won't regret the soufflé. And if you have a party for 10people at least, I strongly recommend the croquembouche for dessert. (Check with the chef beforehand)
A. B.
Thank you for Valentine's day! The lamb was perfect!
M. D.
My partner and I love this restaurant. It is a our go to place when we are craving some French food. Everything on the menu is executed perfectly. Our all time favorite is the duck pie !
L. T.
The best French restaurant in Sydney. Unable to fault, from entrees, mains and dessert to the wine selection. Consistent service and delivery of the menu.
A. N.
Had a good one at first visit, but second visit was disappointing. Food turned up cold, and the wait for my food was 45 to 55 mins! Others who came later got their food before us. Not a good feeling. Nice ambience, friendly staff.
A. E. G.
Absolutely delicious! Service is very friendly and pleasant! Thank you very much! We will be back very soon!
J. W.
Fantastic service and incredible food, both dinner and dessert. Perfect for date night or just treating yourself to a delicous meal. Definitelt try the cocktails as well.
A. C.
Great atmosphere and a nice interior. The dishes are quite pricy, but the portions are BIG! Oh, and delicious. Try the steak with real béarnaise!
W. B.
Very nice restaurant with very nice food and drink! The air-con was a little cold where we were sitting, but overall we had a very nice experience. The snails were great!
M. B.

Outstanding ! Wonderful ambience, classic French food and friendly, stylish and skilled staff.

One of the greatest dining experiences I've had in years of world travel, the chef is a Maestro, the staff were kind an very attentive to the diners, & the entertainment for the night was a couple of sets, filled with funny, witty & divine melodies from the brilliant songstress Mary Kiani....

Great variety of alcohol. Tuna carpaccio entre is a must-order. We ate the pork fillet, duck pie and steak. No regrets!

Fabulous French fare with flair, yet with no arrogance in the air. Go the duck and pinot pie and you can thank me later. Seriously, I'm accepting thank yous as it is genuinely THAT delicious.

The food at Claire's is awesome. There's a great event room upstairs for dinner parties. Many traditional French dishes.

Service a little slow on a Saturday night, but easy to overlook that with some lovely food and friendly staff. Prices aren't cheap but the meals (and drinks) are worth it.

New Year’s Eve dinner. Service is wonderful and decor in the restaurant made it festive but the food was a let down. A deep fryer is for frites.
