We came here from a long way away for lunch and to meet some dear old friends. The location is superb with a wide open view of the paddocks and lush greenery. We had great service and the waiter suggested a “life-changing” wine food pairing - and it truly was excellent! Looking around there were heaps of groups of people and everyone was having such a nice time. In the end, with the food and company and location and so many laughs I had to admit this was one of the best days out we have had in many years. We have already planned to come again.

Having not dined out in some time, what a treat it was to be invited to Fridas Field!. The staff are warm welcoming and knowledgeable the location and building breathtaking and food was exquisite! While we had a large birthday party the experience would be equally as lovely for a more intimate gathering
A must when visiting the Northern Rvs!

We had our wedding at Frida's Field and it was the most spectacular day! The venue is gorgeous, the food was INCREDIBLE, all of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely back for a long lunch and maybe even stay on site in the cottage again.

Just stunningly good food and location. We were here for a wedding. Must return for the long lunch.

We had lunch here with our family and it was such a fantastic way to spend an afternoon together. The service, food and drinks were outstanding and the setting is so beautiful. We’re coming back soon! Thank you FF team!

We attended our Nephews Wedding here & what a lovely surprise awaited us when their wedding guests were transported to this venue. Set out amongst the rolling lush green fields, Frida's Fields & their surrounds provided the perfect Wedding venue for our Nephews Wedding celebration.
Their barn like structure with their sliding doors closed to keep the decorated wedding celebrations in was a very nice touch. Light rain started as the ceremony commenced & clear white umbrellas were given out as the wedding ceremony started but Mother Nature had decided to come down abit heavier, so quickly the staff here put what I called 'Plan B' into action & all moved into their beautiful decorated venue.
The large room was decorated to the couples taste, the staff were very friendly as they quickly served around the canapes to the guests, the food was soooooo delicious, each menu course kept out food pallets 'dancing' with delight.
In closing, I highly recommend this beautiful venue if your looking for a Wedding venue around Bryon Bay....10/10.

An amazing location. It was our anniversary as busy as they were they gave us a table to ourselves loved it. Great service and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend

This was a special birthday lunch for my daughter. The ambiance was lovely, our table location was perfect as we had 2 young children with us and they occupied themselves happily on the adjacent grounds. Overall, the food was great though I was a little disappointed in the beef. A bit tough for me. However the beef cheeks were sensational. Timing of courses was excellent, making the most of the individual courses.. We all were surprised that the coffee was not included in the price.

Great food, wine, service and setting (even despite the rain)

“One of the greatest lunch with a view” in the shire. From menu to staff, everything was on point. And on a rainy day, it felt even more cosy and romantic!

Quite possibly the best lunch I have ever had.
A group of around 18 of our close friends had a recent luncheon to celebrate a 50th birthday.
Perfect food, wine, venue and service. Even the outlook over the hinterland is superb.

We attended the very first long lunch and came away inspired by the owners vision of regenerative farming and actively reversing climate change!
It was such a beautiful way to experience a truly unique dining experience in the norther rivers as the outlook from the modern barn is stunning, the menu was filling and the flavours amazing. Looking forward to the trying the summer menu next.

Such a special dining experience. Elegant simplicity at its best. The food was incredible and the venue was perfect - stylish space, cool breeze, gardens and beautiful outlook. We have already booked again for an early family xmas lunch and can't wait! Thanks Jeanie, Edward and family.

Menu to me was a bit confusing.
The bread was really good with fresh butter, but the pickled vegetables wasn't the best, I've had better out of a jar.
The starters, the carrots were really good, very clever. The pork and prune pies were really good too. However the salmon dish was overpowered with the grapefruit and orange, and the salmon was lost. A dish I thought wasn't quite right for the menu.
Mains, the sides were bok choy ,brown rice and turnips. The bok choy was good but was out of place on the menu. The brown rice pumkin dish was good, but again I didn't think it was sitting well on the menu. The turnips were cold, which was a surprise but not in a good way.
The main dish was beef, slow cooked beef cheek was awesome, but there wasn't enough. Then there was a piece of beef, cooked beautifully, nice and rare, but pretty standard.
The desert, a Mandarin and Pear crumble. I liked this but my partner thought it was way to simple.
Overall I thought that the menu was confusing and wasn't consistent. It was like they ran out of ideas and just put a few dishes in there to fill up the menu.
All the food looked like it was pre made as there were rack trolleys full of dishes and just tinkered with on the serving bench. I was a little disappointed with the experience and thought it was overpriced.

The food quality is sensational with a lovely Hinterland shed layout and ambience. Unfortunately, we found the serving portions quite awkward. For instance we had a small slice of terrine served between 5. Additionally, the bresaola was around 1 slice each which was insufficient. Conversely, there was a large oversupply of beetroots and quinoa. Waiter staff were lovely and would still recommend.

Frida's Field is a stunning example of agritourism at its very best. A family owned farm, practicing regenerative farming methods, producing incredible ingredients for a seasonal menu. The building design and styling is warm and beautifully tasteful. This is an exceptional rural location for a long, lazy lunch ... highly recommend!

My husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at Frida’s field and it was divine.
The food was delicious and the quantities were generous with a good amount of time between each course to allow us to enjoy a wander in the field or chat with the other guests on our communal table.
The choice of drinks available were varied and many were locally produced, we enjoyed a lovely bottle of Prosecco from Victoria.
I would highly recommend a trip to Frida’s field for a lovely long lunch. We are definitely looking forward to another lunch at Frida’s field in the new year.

When it came to choosing a venue for my *big* birthday Frida's was the frontrunner by far. An elegant yet relaxed space looking out onto the most picturesque hinterland view of lush green fields and magnificent old trees. The food was exceptional - fresh ingredients cooked perfectly to showcase the local region, and support local farmers - often sourced from Frida's own country garden. Daniel and the team go out of their way to ensure every diner has an amazing experience no matter what their food preferences and dietary requirements are. I can't wait to go back!

We went to the very first long lunch at Frida’s Field, and even though it was their first day functioning, I couldn’t fault them.
The atmosphere was awesome, we were lucky to have incredible company at the shared table and the food was outstanding.
Highly recommend.

Hands down the best restaurant in the Northern Rivers region! We have been here twice, and both times exceeded our expectations with food, service and great atmosphere. If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend dining here.

Welcomed into a beautiful airy light space. An abundance of excellent locally farmed ingredients that were cooked to perfection and locally sourced wines to complement.
Enough time between courses to take a walk outside, soaking up some sunshine, admiring the permaculture gardens. Can’t wait for our next long lunch at Frida’s Field.

Something unique and beautiful is happening in Nashua. Knowing that the team at Frida's Field is committed to ecologically focused farming is an added bonus. The long lunch is a lovely lunch, and vegetarians can book with confidence.
