Had dinner here on Saturday night. Cauliflower wings were tasty, came with blue cheese, BBQ, carrots and celery. Both got the quinoa burger with a choice of mushroom or bbq pineapple topping! I chose mushroom, the cheese on the burger was really good. Unfortunately the chips were horrible; bland, over cooked and dry.
Bahama mama cocktail was delicious, I also got a blue Hawaiian but forget to take a photo of it. Our waitress Dee was lovely.

It was really a long wait to get the item ordered , even the drinks.
No water upon arrival, that was the saddest part for me.
Overall, food was good and the view was worth it as we weren't much into the Live Music.
But, if you're looking for a quiet place to hangout with a family, you might want to choose a Better option that might be more suitable.

They are doing well here managing COVID, make a booking and use the digital menu. Currently they are operating on a limited menu bit still have the fav classics like Fajitas and twisted Mac and cheese, worth a visit to support them during these tough times. Doesn’t let the Hard Rock brand down and has great views of darling harbour.

Had a fabulous time at the Hard Rock today! The bartender was on point with our drinks! The best drinks by far while we were in the city ( and we have had a few lol). Great view and our food was delicious! Very attentive waitress. Great way to finish our weekend in the city.

My wife and I had a catch up with friends at Hard Rock and I must say the whole experience was great. We were seated next to the stage, but because we wanted to chat we were accommodated at a quieter quarter. Our server was fantastic and very cheerful, it almost felt as though we were the only customers there. The drinks were really good and the burgers were some of the best we have had in Australia. The atmosphere was great and the live music hit the spot. Would I go back for round two...hell yeah!

A top experience! Our waitress had a fantastic personality. Live band, food drinks - 5 star!!

Visited here on Valentine’s Day, staff were great in particular our server Zac, he was highly accomodating, had great customer service and was very helpful.
I ordered the rump steak and the only thing that was disappointing that my steak was not cooked medium rare, more so well done. Other than food was great.
Great atmosphere especially if you love rock music!

We’ve had a fabulous Mother’s Day at hard rock!!!! I was so glad to see the place full and lively!
It was probably my 5th time at Hard Rock Cafe Sydney and we simply love it! Great food, lovely staff and fair prices cause the portions are very abundant
Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is cause I think the ambiance could be nicer. I particularly don’t like the way tables are displaced cause me particularly, don’t feel comfortable with people coming and going all the time. I guess somethings could be improved...however food and drinks wise, great place and we will be definitely coming back many more times!!
S.
Great location and view. We ordered the jumbo combo, a waitress came out 10 mins later and unapologetically told we are out of wings and can add in extra of another item. She seemed a bit rude. Rest the food was actually great.
B. V.
Brie was awesome, we are learning how to deal with our daughter being a Coeliac and she was very helpful and also got is in and food on our table quickly so we could get to Hamilton at the Lyric Theatre! Great experience, not every place could have accomplished what we asked in a short period of time!
B. F.
Totally impressed with customer service here. Me and my wife with 2 under 2 rock up for lunch. The place was busy but the people saw we were waiting and people came out of the woodwork to give us service!!! We got our lunch quickly cinsidering and we absolutely apprecite this!!! Thanks we'll be back

Had my birthday here and I called up and I spoke to Jess who was an actual superstar she was so helpful and friendly. i started off with 10 guests and called back a few times to add more and they were so great and accomodating.
They called the night before to confirm and asked if we wanted to sit next to the live band or away and I said away as it was a birthday away.
We rocked up and we were seated straight away. We had a lovely table at the back! We waited about 30-40 mins before ordering so all guests could arrive and they didn’t rush us.
If our waiter was busy we were close to the bar so we could go and order drinks.
The food was quick correct and hot! I got the ribs which were amazing!
The view of darling harbour is lovely.
The place is warm inside so even in winter you can wear your sexy clothes and not freeze.
One of my fave places in sydney thank you again for making my birthday so special and stress free.
*Nb they only do one bill so helps to bring small cash if in large groups!

Had a great time here with our family, we all enjoyed the food and the live music. Our baby boy was dancing and vibing all night. We had booked ahead with Red Ballon and we were served with more than enough food. Our server Tom was great with his killer moves, and management had always checked on us if we were okay, which was was really nice. Thanks guys!

Had a great meal, our waiter Zac had a fantastic personality and nothing was too much trouble. Bought some souvenirs from the gift shop. All in all a lovely experience!
Hope to catch some live music there on our next trip to Sydney. 😁
M. M.
Great burgers and atmosphere sometimes it can be a bit slow to be served which is why I'm giving it 4 stars the food is excellent and it has a fun vibe love coming here!!!!
M. S.
Great American food, decently large servings. Friendly staff and spacious, nicely decorated Ambiance. Rock shop at level 1, and food on level 2. Some outdoor seating on the second floor. we got a 15% discount coupon from a flyer.
L. J.
Fantastic meal and excellent service. I will visit again when in Sydney.
M. C.
An amazing experience with the lady at the entrance. I was on my mobile scooter. We got there before opening time. We were treated like owners of the place or royalty. We were let in, given the best spot to sit at with hubby. We enjoyed every second we with no disruption. The margarita was outstanding. I will be frequenting the harbourside hardrock cafe without hesitation. Well done troopers for the lovely service you provided
C. G.
You can’t go wrong with any Hard Rock Cafe in the world but this one in particular has such a vibrant vibe and amazing friendly staff! Plus, it overlooks Darling Harbour so you can enjoy your lunch or dinner with a fabulous view ❤️ Make sure to try some of the specials from their ‘Infused with Love - The Encore!’ menu!

The Hard Rock Cafe is unapologetically what it is. Loud, busy and beefy. My wife and I ordered burgers and sodas. They were tasty and filling. Don’t expect a quiet atmosphere, cheap prices (it is smack in the middle of a pricey touristy area) or vegetarian fare. The burgers are big. Truthfully I’d love for them to be a smidge smaller so the flavour of the toppings don’t get drowned out by the burgers. My spicy atomic burger was very mild but it’s not a complaint. Just an observation. I feel you always know what you are going to get at a hard rock.
A. “. L.
Big Portions, Friendly Service and good tasting food (especially the burgers). We dined here for lunch on a public holiday and we were seated immediately, the waiter was attentive and knowledgeable and the overall speed of the food coming out was good. The taste of our meals where good but other than the Java Java burger there was nothing special. Overall a good place to have lunch but it is a tad expensive for what you get.
P. C.
The Hard Rock Cafe in Sydney’s Darling Harbour doesn’t fail to disappoint. It is exactly what you expect when visiting any Hard Rock Cafe around the world. The service staff are all exceptionally friendly and willing to sing you happy birthday if you are celebrating. The food is your typical American style dining. You can choose from burgers, ribs, fries, nachos, buffalo wings, etc. My fave is the chocolate brownie sundae to share.

The second time I have to say this... the Hard Rock franchise never puts me down! I went for a trip down to Sydney and this was the sacred restaurant we had to go to!
Why shouldn't we make that choice? It was great! The scenery is beautiful. If you reserve a seat at the front you can see the Darling Harbour inside and out!! Magnificent!!!
The food also, was delicious. I had Legendary and Big Cheese Burgers with the side of chips. The taste was great!
So from Bali to Sydney, It was the same... likeableness of it that is! I would like to Rock & Roll in that location! (And any others)
S. M.
Higher prices should equal higher service but not here. Very limited menu. Portion sizes are huge - not a bad thing if you can fit it all in! Some wait staff seemed quite upbeat but it's not across the board.
P.
Had dinner here recently and service was great from the moment we walked in. Food was nice and good sized portions.
P. P.
Good place for family and friends. Though its a bit expensive but the food is yummy and will fill you up. I love the drink that I ordered just forgot the name 😅. Much better if you reserve early so that you can get the outside views.
T. A.
Great location, a bit different than other countries, doesn't have the same vibe & spirit. A nice place though, with good live music, food, and drinks.
a.
Excellent live venue. Great music Lovely staff. Food could improve a little. Pub/cafe style menu. Interesting memorabilia for the music fans Perfect location at harbourside Darling Harbour. Kid friendly till 10pm Covid safe. Easy to get to.
P.
Have been here a few times now as an avid Hard Rocker and have never been disappointed. Great friendly well proportioned service (there when you want them but not in your face throughout your entire meal). Food is awesome as always. Have been going to Hard Rock Cafes around the world or years and there's nothing I have had on the menu which I didn't like. The jumbo sharing platter is delicious and a great alternative to a standard meal if there's 2 of you looking for something varied. Dropped one star as the standard old fashioned thick chocolate milkshake which had been on the menu for years has been taken off for awhile and doesn't look like it's coming back. Was absolutely delicious and now gone 😔 The Cauliflower wings are an awesome addition...if only we knew how to make those at home...amazing!
c. s.
Delicious food and the best coffee I have ever had.
Great service by staff, and thanks for serving the amazing food. Must try 👍👍👍
A. M.
One of my favourite place to go when I am in city. Great food. Love their Cauliflower Wings. Very satisfied with Customer service. Had their Jumbo Combo to share. Nice with variety of food. And for dessert: Hot Fudge Brownie is my favourite..
N. R.
Totally R Å D VENUE! Tasty 'n' pricey food..But the music takes ya 🔙💗💙💜🖤👄 Thanks to the bartender who introduced me to Fireball & Pineapple Juice.... Hooooleee Sheeeit! 🤯🔥🍍
Z. L.
Classic experience at the Hardrock cafe. The Fiesta burger was very good; the patty was tasty. Service was quick for the most part. The decor was awesome as with all Hardrock Cafes but seating was a little tight.
M. A.
Amazing combination of music, view and a great taste of food ( except bit more ketchup on top of BBQ pork :) ). This five star is specially for the great customer service.
B. T.
We had a small group which had just visited the Maritime Museum nearby and were in need of lunch. We were greeted at the door in a very friendly manner and promptly seated without a booking. The selection of food is excellent and in expected style of American diner. All had a dish to their taste. Drink of the day was 1/2 price and a very well picked drop. Will visit again.
J. H.
Nice place. We just had a couple of beers. No seating outside due to Covid restrictions.
D. W.
It's a cafe or more like a dinner place with a very cool bar, rock music playing together with rock posters and items all over. Food is good, thou my drink could have been better. Nothing too special or fancy even thou we got the 3 course meal. It's really pricy, sure I could have gotten the same anywhere else just cheaper. If you go there I guess you go there to get the experience and to say you have bean there. We did get a free t-shirt thou. If you go there buy the iventure card and get a good discount and the t-shirt.
Nice place, ok food, nice view to the water.
J.
We had the most amazing family dinner at Hard Rock Cafe in Darling Harbour. The food was sensational! The cocktails were sensational too! Highly recommend. The thing that made our night was our waiter, Zack, he absolutely went above and beyond for us! He made recommendations to our orders with such care and thoughtfulness that was absolutely unique. He was friendly, charismatic and unbelievably attentive! He made us feel so important and so well taken care of. Thank you Zack and thank you Hard Rock, we will be back!
C. B.
I LOVE Hard Rock Cafe! The food is always good, the waiters are amazing, they truly care about their customers! I've started a collection with all the Hurricane Glasses from all the countries I visit and I'm super happy to add Sydney to my collection! I always get a Mac and Cheese and my drink is a Hurricane and both are always delicious!
That's my travel restaurant!
Every time I travel to a new place, I check if there is any Hard Rock Cafe, and if yes, that make my travel more memorable!
It's also interesting to see on the wall some outfits and objects like guitars that the stars were wearing or used to have at a specific moment in their careers.
D. V.
Great food, best staff EVER!
A. M.
Hard Rock Cafe never disappoints. Amazing food and great view overlooking the harbour. The staff was friendly and the service was great. Their chicken burgers were amazing and so were the mocktails. My overall experience was great and the best part is it's priced reasonably. Bottom line, highly recommended for friends or even for nice family meal.
A. N.
Service is pretty good(all thanks goes to Matilda who helped us in ordering the food (perfect choice) and she is one of the calm and helpful staff in Hard Rock Cafe) and chicken wings were awesome and you can’t find really good chicken wings around harbour side
Really recommend 😃👌
A.
I went to their store to buy a gift, everything so nice and affordable.
Thanks for the customer service girls!
The Brazilian host and Melissa :)
Cheers!
A. S.
Extremely nice customer service by thomas. The foods were okay and coffee was a bit weak. Other than that nice place and yet again 5stars for the customer service.
K.
Love the decoration and ambience in this restaurant and enjoyed the good food here.
A. W.
The Hard Rock Cafe is one of the most amazing restaurants out there! It’s comes with great customer service and a great view. Ethan and Lily were the ones who served us and they were amazing. I really felt like I was at home, I would 100% recommend.
S. S.
Very strategically located in the darling harbour area. They have great food and drinks specials. Can also watch fireworks from their 2nd floor windows! They also have lots of merchandise and fashionable collectibles for sales on their 1st floor.
K. A.
Food is good, all halal, the view is amazing, had a great time
G. H.
Service by Tam fantastic.
The food also great. One of the best HRC in the world.
D. M.
Great environment, a lot of cool stuff like guitars and museum pieces (of rock of course) and great beers. A little bit expensive.
S. G.
Ordered two drinks, only one came out. Ordered two meals, one great and the other overcooked. Bar staff fantastic in rectifying issue. Waitress had limited understanding of the English language. Overall a little disappointed.
L. G.
Food average. Service not good. Fajitas had no flavour. Dessert was nice. Table wasn't wiped down - crumbs over it yet no kids pens for the activities on menus 'due to covid' (ran out to newsagents and brought some). Had to ask twice after ordering for kids drinks which finally came after mains. They tried to put mains down on table and take entrees before we had finished eating them. Table was very cramped. Two wine glasses put on our table, told them not ours, away to discuss came back and put on table next to ours (didn't clean not that we touched but inconsistent covid rules)
D. D.
Most Delicious burger I’ve ever had. I love atmosphere. Staff they are so kind really caring. Love this place!!
R. B.
Well done! The best food rock bar of Sydney!! How many options? A lot!! Good prices, good food
R. D.
Friendly staff, Great Chef's, Great atmosphere. Love this place

Overall great place for both the novelty of music memorabilia and to hang out for dinner.Interior is pretty much a temple of rock, some cool displays which will excite music fans.
Servers were really attentive and the girl with the red shirt serving us did an amazing job. I was really pleased with the hospitality.
Food was reasonably good and portions were huge. Prices are abit expensive but good value if you can eat alot. We tried the original burger which was fairly stacked and hard to eat, but also very filling that you won't care by the end. I enjoyed the cheese and bacon fries but was abit shocked with how much they added to the bill which I was not warned about. Other than that, I was pretty satisfied with the food
Also you can get a decent view of darling harbour depending on where you sit.
Overall, great place to relax abit and enjoy a meal. Might be out of some people's budget but it's fun atmosphere makes the money worth it.
D.
The Hard Rock Cafe is always our go to when visiting Sydney, he staff are so amazing and full of energy. The drinks are on point and we had the most decent flavoursome meals. Lots of awesome memorabilia lines the walls including a Red Hot Chili Peppers jumpsuit ! If you get a seat on the balcony you can look over darling harbour. Absolutely recommend if your into rock.
J. D. L. C.
Awesome place to go very friendly staff awesome service they rarely get the orders wrong but if they do they very apologetic to what had happen i recommend people visit this place to catch up with friends and people coming from overseas
M. A.
Great view of the harbour. They have happy hour all week, and the food as always is delicious. But extremely expensive
S. R.
The staff makes the difference.
I went a couple of weeks ago with my work mates. From the welcome at the door to the good bye at the end, they've treated us like kings. The manager, Joao, was always willing to help and the waitress was so nice and experienced.
The food was great too. We were almost all vegetarian so we had the quinoa burger. Everything was flavorful and crunchy.
They have as well a great terrace. It was closed due to the winter weather, but I will definetly come back to enjoy the views.
S. R.
We only stopped in for some cocktails and we were treated like royalty ,awesome service..Hard Rock cafes always have great atmosphere
V. B.
This place is amazing the staff, the cocktails and music all amazing I will definitely go back again next time to have dinner there the food looked amazing too
M. A.
I have enjoyed my evening with the music and the excellent service from Karla. I highly recommend it 👏🏻.
c. m.
Staff are great - but they gave away our table (booked 3weeks in advance) despite 2phone calls & 1 messenger message enroute cause we were half hour late..
Nailed our arses for dancing for 30seconds but not once did i get soap out of any of the 3 dispensers in the ladies room - all night. Their Covid restrictions are debatable, as is their booking protocol🤔 Still, it is a great venue👍 but there's plenty of room for improvement. Their cider is yuk too even though I practically begged for strongbow when I booked our table weeks in advance. Hospitality shouldn't dictate, it should accommodate......
T. M.
disappointed ’cause this HRC was not participating in the Reward Program...
=============
OK, HRC Sydney became a participant to the Reward Program, right? good improvement! I just wish you were in the Program when I visited there back in late May.. Will be back there at NRC next time I have a chance to visit Sydney.

Awesome memorable SID vicious jacket
L. W.
What a fantastic experience! Took the family for Mother’s Day. Food, drinks, and service were superb. Something for every taste both on the menu and on the walls. And mums ate for free!!! We will be back.
m. b.
Forever will be my favorite resturant chain.
Love the staff
Love the environment
Love the music
Love the food
Love the cocktails
We even got our own firework show this time.
A. P.
This place is awesome for large parties. We were screwed over by braza when they cut our 3 hour party down to half at the last minute. I called Hard Rock cafe and was lucky to find Jess. She is the best venue manager I have ever come across. She was courteous, understood our problem and although they were packed she worked out a way to accommodate 29 of us in a private area and also provided us a server for the night. The music/band that plays there is awesome the drinks were tasty and the food was yummy. The entire ambience was great. We had a lovely time and all thanks to Jess.
Jess if you are reading this, you are a true personification of great customer service. HRC are lucky to have you. Thank you for helping us out on Thursday night.
G. C. E.
Excelent place to view the fireworks every saturday evening. Good latin disco at nights. Good food not so expensive.
S. N. K.
Visited for friends birthday
Liked happy hours and cocktails
Too bad they only have one Cider which is Magners
m. a.
Had few drinks Jack the Bartender made those cocktails was awesome.
M. C.
Great customer service. Staff are very friendly and attentive!! The food is amazing.
H. L.
Hard Rock cafe has an amazing atmosphere and really friendly staff. I ordered a burger and my dad and partner ordered the ribs which were soo tasty!
L. M.
Good food. Good old school rock and roll music. Friendly wait staff.
A. W.
Good food.. Great people.. Just love going there.. Cheersssssss guys .. Keep it up 👍🏼
A. L.
Nice location, average food, service ok. A bit pricey for 1 adult 2 kids. But overall not bad.
B. D.
Traditional hard rock atmosphere... always fun and exciting great table service.... awesome views
Like any Hard Rock.... it's a must
P. P.
Not bad, not great, just an average place. The food is all pretty greasy and American. I wouldn't go above 4/5 for Sydney.
V. B.
I took my daughter to have a few cocktails and this place was perfect. The staff were pleasant the cocktails were amazing and there was a live band which were awesome they made my night singing... Living on a prayer by bon jovi I was in my awe...I didn't have any food there tonight but seen many dishes that looked very tasty so I will be having dinner there next time.
T. W.
Cesar salad was great. Kids meal burger also great. Covid marshal at the door but no hand sinitizers available on the main floor.... Booths space is too tight and finally and most important thing, there is no rock in roll on the tunes! Desapointing! Where is the music of all the ones decorating the walls? Come on guys! It's the hard rock Cafe not the hard pop café!
k. s.
Amazing service. Had amazing drinks from the bar and the live band was kicking out awesome songs.
They had really good Covid zones and amazing staff. The atmosphere was great and will definitely be coming back next week to rock.
L. S.
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to David Reilly (General Manager) who booked us in for a wonderfully, special night for our 20th Anniversary!
The venue was clean, pleasant & exciting. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The band, LETS GROOVE TONIGHT were just amazing. We sang, laughed and even chair danced (adhering to COVID rules).
We had a fantastic time and appreciate everyone ensuring we had a great experience.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
And yes we will definitely be back :)
S. W.
Very good food and service once in, live music was terrific and plenty of atmosphere!
We had a booking for 13 people but table wasn’t ready as they operate on a first come first serviced basis even for bookings which seems a bit off, this meant we had to wait outside for about 15 -20 minutes which was not ideal - and seemed to undermine the idea of booking a table.
C. C.
Love this place. In Sydney is less crowded than other cities such as London and Amsterdam which in fact makes it a great place to catch up with friends.
Its live music is great. Staff are friendly. Food and Coctails are awesome!
Highly recommend them.
J.
Before I even get into talking about the restaurant, I want to say a HUGE thank you to Sophie for her warmth, personality and attention to detail - making our dining experience so memorable! The rib eye and the salmon were both enjoyable, however, quite generic in the plating up - steak/salmon mash and two veg. I feel that the dishes could have been more exciting. With this said, the darling harbour venue compensated for its stunning views and awesome table service.
O.
The staff were very good and It was really nice food
P. L.
Very good food and drinks! Happy hour is very good for you to have drinks . Cocktails buy one get one free!
G.
We are infrequent visitors, but their Happy Hour is good value: beers, wines and selected cocktails. Not crowded during Happy Hour yet, because they only have one barman on duty to cover two bars, expect a 10 min wait for service. Perhaps better to find yourself a table, relax and let your waitress do the waiting at the bar?
Nice balcony area.
D. m.
Excellent service good location but music to noisy
Reasonable price helpful staff
T. C.
The food was nice, the view was lovely. We felt like the staff were inconvenienced by our presence and the restaurant was nearly empty. About four of the staff barely acknowledged us, one paused in the middle of serving us to talk to another staff member. Only one staff member was friendly and attentive (the one with the tattoo on her elbow).
R. S.
Amazing food with a good view of the harbour!
N. P.
Service was great, had a mix up with food (kitchen took liberties) but when the food was brought out the issue was quickly fixed with more amazing service. The staff here are helpful and informative asking questions about dietary needs.
S. K.
A great family friendly atmosphere that serves delicious burgers everytime. The staff are always friendly and the prices are reasonable. Lunchtime and Dinner service can be difficult to get a table from time to time.
They have a menu perfect for both kids and adults. The ambient vibe is always fun. Highly recommend a visit
M. T.
Delicious food
Very friendly and cheerful staff
B. D.
Super busy and very noisy. Service was fast but waiter was average and always dropping by the table when he wasn't really needed. Food was average, meat was a bit dry. Wanted to order potato skins but not available unless we ordered the entire entree tasting plate, nachos also unavailable.
D. T.
A Hard Rock that is getting due for a refurbishment. Ok food, certainly not up to the US standard.
R. V.
Very good place and good music.
Comment for argentinian guys: Fernet was made successfully (40%/60%)
D. T. b.
This place is all class, great menu, massive bar and it is an outright cool joint to visit when you are in Sydney. The pricing is reasonable for an international restaurant chain and the serving size for the meals can only be described as 'big'.. If you are in the mood make sure you try their signature cocktails... The strawberry daiquiri was my fav! And remember this place gets busy on the weekends so I'd recommend making a booking. ENJOY!
M. R.
I love the spare ribs, its so tasty, tender and crispy. The cesar salad salmon was really 5 stars . The staffs are very friendly and reliable staff, with a very fast serving specially the food. The place was so amazing with many songs from classic music icons and a very nice rock and roll aesthetic and specially the view of darling harbour is so fantastic. I Highly recommend this place.. good for dating and family friendly.. my 1 year old son enjoyed the foods here :)
n. m.
Music and drinks are good specially their espresso martini was very rich and strong but I expected to get a much better food since it was packed
L. W. T.
Place was busy just before 5pm when I reached there.
Decors were typical of Hard Rock Cafe. The good thing they had over others were a view of the harbour at the outdoor area, but it was raining, so wasn't able to sit outdoors.
Food was good, but pricing was abit on the ex side, since there are similar establishments that offer at a cheaper price around the area.
T.
Quite busy and loud music but hella nice food and customer service
A. A.
Good place and good food to pass your time with friends and as well as good service. I don't know why some people just complain about their service and response time. It was quick and very cordial service. We enjoyed a lot. We had Nachos, Herb Grilled Chicken, Bahama mama (fruity cocktail), Margarita madness with tequila and beer. These will cost you $98. But Nachos was for 5-6 people. It was huge. Please sit outside to enjoy the nice harbour view at night. Overall it was fantastic. We love to go there again.
A. M.
It's a classic rock rock cafe vibe - loud, lots of folks drinking, but still keeping it family friendly, and fun. It's right next to Darling Harbour, so at night, the views are gorgeous especially on their outdoor seating. Our table of 3 ordered one fish, one steak, and one ribs entree. The fish was a tilapia and perfectly done with a solid side of fries. The ribs were also delicious, falling off the bone, and the sauce was wonderful, also with a side of fries. The steak was ordered as medium rare, but it came out well done, and very tough. Overall, service was excellent and staff were very helpful and attentive.
R. D.
The happy hour is quite good. 5$ beer bottles and 2 for 1 cocktails are well worth the money. The sides are a bit shy in quantity given the price but hey it's alright. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Specially the waitress who served out table was so smiley and nice.
Overall a decent place for a few drinks. A bit pricey but not overly expensive.
R.
WOW. This place was probably the best cafe/restaurant I have EVER BEEN TO. The customer service was exceptional and the food was PHENOMENAL I love this place and want more. Awesome and will definetly return when I get the chance
C. M.
Not bad, went on the weekend and it was really busy. The burger choices was good, but the overall flavour was a bit bland. You can probably get a tastier burger somewhere else. Kid friendly though. Good music and memorabilia. FYI: They've got a 10% surcharge on Sunday
M. L.
Food was good. Service was fairly fast.
S. F.
Great atmosphere to go with the great food and memorabilia
W. R.
Good food good prices and good staff.. along with damn good music

I have been walking past this venue for years when visiting Sydney and never thought about dining there. I could kick myself as its amazing.
Great staff, welcoming and really on the ball. I loved loved loved the food and ate there two nights in a row. Well priced and a great experience for all ages. Cant wait to go back.
J. N.
We went for Nye celebration and it was great and organised. Music was not good.
J. T.
Not bad, not good either. Cocktails are average price but super low quality, don't waste your money buying cocktails. After my poor cocktail-experience I decided to buy a whisky and coke, but they don't use a measure (like a jigger) for that, so you are paying $12+ for a short glass with coke, ice and a mist of spirit. 3 stars for the view.
B. D.
Amazing Food, great service!
H. L.
Sadly can’t give 5 stars even if I’m a huge HRC fan. The food were delicious as always but unfortunately the waitress were not really up to speed and the restaurant weren’t even full. Love the location, great view across Darling Harbour. Will be back for sure and hopefully can give 5 starts next time! See ya soon!

Been here once before and had my all time favourite burger. Upon returning there was a few problems with my meal and it just want the same. After alerting staff, the manager handled the situation directly. They went out of their way to fix the situation and gave me a new meal with a beer as well. Very happy with how they turned the experience around and this is what great customer service is all about.
A. M.
So beautiful lunching nybthe water. Fantastic service from a lovely waitperson and terrific food! Serving sizes are very generous though, I regretted ordering a starter and a main!!
F. L. C.
Awesome service, amazing food.
Would definitely recommend dining here, the lengths that the waitstaff will go to ensuring your happiness will astound you. Including chasing off a bird that tried to eat a guests meal and then get a new meal prepared in replacement.
S. D.
We showed up with a group of 10 at 7.30 on a Friday night, it looked quite busy, thought we would try anyway. Staff actually went above and beyond to get us seated, the told us 20 minutes whist they pull some tables together. We went to the bar, cocktails were good, plenty selections of beer on tap. Within 15 minutes they had us seated.
A. Z.
Place has a great happy hour, however you have to order from a particular happy hour menu with more selected cocktails. Have been to other happy hours at hard rock that allowed a longer list of drinks to choosefrom. Despite this the cocktails were good.
We had mac and cheese and buffalo wings which were great. It was friday night and the place was appropriately buzzing after a certain hour. Staff were kind and helpful.
G. B.
Nice burgers, beautiful place. Live band. Fireworks. Nice service from Fernanda. Had a great time
J.
The food was nice and the staff were very pleasent, however we were mislead as there was a lot of advertising for happy hour and 2 for 1 cocktails, when it came to the bill this was not the case as apparently a list of which cocktails were on 2 for 1, this was not the case in the menu or anywhere else for that matter. Annoying after such a decent time there.
J. W.
Fantastic food, ordered one of the burgers. Friendly and reliable staff, with pretty speedy service during the evening. The venue amazing with many pieces from classic music icons and a very nice rock and roll aesthetic . Highly recommend this place!
S. N.
Hard Rock cafe is an institution! We love visiting each local cafe whenever we travel. This is our local and we love going here. Food is good, but most of all the choice of music videos is fantastic and adds to the experience.
K. B.
Visiting from Perth and felt this was somewhere we had to visit. Our waitress was lovely and friendly. 2 4 1 cocktails was a great deal, just feel it could be advertised a bit better. Kids have their own menu that they can also colour in. Meals are really big. Husband and i struggled to finish ours.
V. T.
Quality of food has decreased considerably. Flavours and sizes are not the same. The fajitas don't have enough tortillas to eat all the meat, and the chocolate milk shake, a classic that I had for the last 20 years literally in all over the world and always been my favourite, did not taste like it used to. Either changed ice cream or recipe, but I did not like it.
It wasn't bad but I don't think I'll come back
M. M.
Nice place & staff. The 5 of us all ordered burger & chips (cooked superbly) 2xbeers & 2xcoffees (cold & weak) cost $151. 4xmeals cost $23ea, 1xmeal @$19. As a local I wouldn't go back & spend that much, I would if overseas friends came back & wanted to visit again however. Thank you to the Asian man who initially took our order, very vibrant & friendly personality.
3.
Absolutely stunning service, only came by for something to drink and had an amazing time there, ambient performance, great cocktails, couldn't be any better of a place.
N. A.
Iconic music cafe for fans of the genre and music you would love it. Lots of memorabilia and well themed- as far as a food restaurant goes though, certainly nothing special and very pricey for the food and beverage you get. Nice view of the harbour and city.
N. J.
Had good harbour views of the city from outside seating but the drinks were just ok. The overall ambience wasn't cozy too. We orderes nachos which was a little overpriced at $25( meat at extra $8) and were too much for the two of us, would have been better if it would have been a little cheaper with a lesser amount.
M. H.
I made a reservation in advance for a group of 7, because I knew it would be busy on Saturday. When we arrived, we weren't complete yet and were told to wait till everyone arrived. Apart from that, our table wasn't ready yet. 10 minutes later, we were complete and went back to the hostess. She gave us a buzzer because our table still wasn't ready. Time passed by and no one could give us any information about our table. We had to stand in front of her in order to get information cause she seemed to avoid us. All we wanted to know was whether or not our table would be ready before 9. Just before 9, when we were just about to leave because we waited for an hour, she finally showed us our seats and said something about being very busy and apologised. We got two small tables, so that one person had to squeeze in the middle. It just wasn't wel fitted for 7 persons, but we were glad we could finally order. The service was great and the food was just as expected, tasty and a right portion, so that made up for the bad experience we had. Still, I don't know if I will ever go back. But it would most certainly not be on a saturday!
A. Q.
Bloody great hard rock cafe, staff are friendly as, service even better. Didn't get my servers name but Dani was great. Marco the manager for the night I assume was excellent in sorting my payment mishap. Overall would recommend to everyone and will be back for sure. Cocktails are so tasty too.
C. E.
Hard Rock Cafe Sydney does live to the expectation for atmosphere although their food was just average if not for lots of people taste but one thing for sure their bar selections was great and incredible. I can't wait to go back to try some other special drinks that they have. When me and my family was there, they were friendly and the experience was great. Unfortunately, as much as we love the atmosphere, we could not enjoy the food the same as we enjoy the view and atmosphere. The second time we were back, we were back only for the cocktails. ;)
P. P.
The live entertainment is great on a Saturday night and staff are very attentive. Food was fantastic. Perfect venue for a night out with entertainment and food at the one venue.
F. (.
Great classic restaurant overlooking the harbour. Popular with their musicians memorabilia, you can have fun trip to the memory lane inside the restaurant (especially if you’re music lovers like me). They also have shop where you can buy Hard Rock Cafe Sydney souvenirs and t-shirts.
On this particular visit I tried their Rock n Bowl dishes for my weekday lunch. The dishes are generously portioned, fresh, delightful and quite healthy.
Quick and friendly customer service.
m. j.
we were seated immediately on a friday night. the food was delivered quickly, was delicious and of good quality and generous portion size. it was however very expensive. we had a lovely view over darling harbour but this was somewhat ruined by our waiter who was a overly attentive and checked on us every five minutes or so which is not how we prefer to be served. it was a nice enough dinner out but i doubt we will go back.
N. J.
Very nice to have some awesome food and be social... if you can hear the other person. I went on a Friday so I understand it is busy but very hard to talk as it is soo loud. Not the music but the people. Best to get a reservation as I needed to wait roughly an hour for a table. The staff were very attentive and the price is decent for the portions of food.
J. T.
The location of this HR is great, you get a nice view of darling harbor and the staff if very helpful. We got even offered to change our table as the temperature increased. Food is very good, very "American Style" it would be nice to have more Aussie options...
K. R.
Just like any other Hard Rock Cafe around the world, great pub food but due to the location of the real estate the prices are a bit on the northern side. But, no complains as the overall location, vibe and view makes it all worth it.
M. W.
Was okay, not that much variety on the lunch menu.
S. S.
The service was excellent, very fast and friendly. The decorations were something different and included celebrity clothing and made the experience very interesting. The music was great, with TVs and live entertainment on certain days. They also have a store next door.
The food was delicious with great portions and pricing. The location is great on Darling Harbour with great views! Definitely recommend this place!
r. m.
To compare Sydney like the other hard rocks in the world . It measures up, the atmosphere you hope to expect, is what you get it !
Table service reliable,
friendly staff are enthusiastic to help with the menu.
Food was fresh , tasty and classic American style ( I had wings and a burger )
Enjoyed sipping a cocktail with friends and talking about the memorabilia whilst listening to great music .
Very happy with the restaurant experience !!!
M. M.
Very overpriced. Great cold beers on a hot day out in their balcony overlooking the harbor was an awesome idea. Big meals although very calorie rich. Good decor and great photo opportunity.
R. A.
Enjoyed the lunch shared combo of spring rolls, potato skins with sour cream, chicken bites in sauce, chicken tenders and onion rings. The drinks were slow to arrive just after the food but the service was friendly and helpful.
E. B.
Went to a work function here. It was such a great venue! Friendly service. Good music. Yummy nibbles and when you’re sick of your colleagues you can enjoy the exhibits everywhere. Very cool seeing all of the famous clothing from Artists tours 😀
V. l.
The café itself is really nice, very rock! Lots of posters and memorabilia from great Rock Bands. At first we had a friendly welcoming. We were the second group of customers to arrive, so the restaurant was empty. People started to arrive but, when we left only 1/5 of the restaurant was busy.
We ordered Nachos to share, with optional beef and guacamole. The food was excellent and it was a good surprise. The guacamole was home-made and fresh. Lovely. The serve was enormous, huge. We could have fed 5 people, we were only two and we don't eat large meals. I, therefore asked for take away containers before we left.
After I finished eating, I got up to have a look around and took pictures. When I came back to my seat, the waiter, in a rush, told me he was bringing me the bill. I did not understand why all of a sudden we were rushed out. In a matter of 5 minutes he brought containers for taking away the left over food and the bill and, I felt pressured to leave. I thought I would order a coffee but, I didn't even have time to order one. Even if the restaurant would have been packed I would not have appreciated been rushed out and today, I did not. It is not a way to treat customers.
Finally, I found horrifying the billing system and I should have taken a picture of the bill. The surcharge for paying by card was clearly stated, almost $1.50, lucky I had cash but, under the amount HIGHLIGHTED with a blue highlighter and CIRCLED (I wrote in capitals this in purpose) with a pen was the following statement: DO NOT FORGET TO PAY THE SERVER. How awful, we are in Australia, wait staff are paid and their pay is comprised in the price we, customers, pay for the food. You can tip if you are happy with the service but, it is not an obligation. I would have been OKAY with the statement on the bill but, it was circled and highlighted. If you work in a place where they do not paid you at least the minimum wage, it is illegal so, find work else where. Don't guilt me in trying to leave a tip because when I usually do, today, I did not.
R.
Hard Rock Cafe Sydney is just the place to eat at while in town. Big portions with cold beer. Quality merchandise available to purchase.
D. D.
My parents went here on their Aussie adventure to get me another hard rock pin as a prezzie for my collection. Good place. Lots of good choices. Better than Maccas but I'd hop there for a quick bite. The staff were friendly and they had a great time.
M.
Love this place! Awesome and fun atmosphere. The famous fajitas are my go to! Love HRC never bored or disappointed no matter which one you visit around the world!
D.
The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating, but the organisation is a bit lacking. There were 8 adults but they only gave 3 tables so it was cramped and 4 of us would've had our plates in between the tables, which weren't stable or level, where's the 8 people next to us had 4 tables. We had to ask for an extra table.
m.
This is a solid place for a few reasons .this place has an amazing theme that pairs well with the music , it is aesthetically pleasing but still very comfortable . The service is amazing the Waiting staff is very friendly . They tell you their names which honestly not enough restaurants do . Their food is amazing . It is a clean place even the restrooms are clean and up to date .
C. S.
As usual good service with the staff, fun and friendly. Food is a little expensive but then you go for the experience. It's not as good as the Old one in Crown St years ago but it did bring back memories.
Browsed the gift shop and has all the usual Hard Rock march! A good place to have a good meal with friends.
R. S.
Visited today for lunch with my friend and our boys. My friend and I ordered the Wagyu steak which was cooked to perfection and tasted really good. Great service from Cam! The atmosphere is relaxed and has a good vibe with the music and rock decor.
C. B.
Hi, I am not normally the whinging sort but the food at this place is shocking. I paid $23 for a Hickory bacon cheese burger (no, weight is not an issue for me)... After being overseas I was looking forward to a hearty beef meal! Anyway, the whole thing was an insult to cooking everywhere. The buns was dry and literally become a pice of thin pastry as soon as i squeezed it. the bacon was burnt to a crisp and tasteless as was the cheese.
the environment there was fun, and the staff were great as well, but if you want GOOD food i would keep looking, PS: the chicken wings a stole off my mates place were actually pretty good, so stick with this if you need a good snack with your overpriced drink.
L. D.
Came in for a quick drink. Knew what I was in for with a Hard Rock Cafe. However, Moe the bartender was legit the reason I stuck around. Cannot recommend enough.
L. G.
Hard Rock Cafe has a great atmosphere with memorabilia and other decor around the restaurant. The food is great and reminds me of the U.S. It's always loud and vibrant with plenty of people. They have a nice bar for when you are waiting for a table. There is a nice view of the Darling Harbout and if you are there on Friday or Saturday nights, you get a view of the fireworks which is amazing. It can be a little pricey so maybe better for a special occasion.
N. P.
Great cocktails and mocktails, totally unique to hard rock cafe. Great food menu with signature hard rock cafe dishes! Must try "Rock'in Wings". Good value for money with amazing darling harbour views. Highly recommend sitting outside, but be inside if you are fan of hard rock music...
E. D.
The wait to get a table was over the top so they suggester eating in the bar area. I was with my two young kids so not ideal. This was made worse by the fact that the staff at the bar completely ignored us for the best part of 20 minutes and the bar itself wasn't even that busy. Over hyped and too many tourists. Food just ok. A few other places in Harbourside offer better service, food and value, they just dont have the hard rock vibe.
J. K.
It was my 4th time here tonight, absolutely amazing costumer service & definitely a nice selection of meals to select from that almost all taste great! Would definitely recommend to friends & family, definitely my go to place when in Darling harbour. The atmosphere and music is just a bonus :) keep it up guys.
C. S. K.
Great atmosphere the staff was great very attantive. The food actually came out surprisingly very quickly out and staff cleared our table as soon as we finished, loved it. Went there for battle of the bands which was amazing.
Definatley will be coming back for sure.
C. a. M.
The search for the BEST burger continues and it seems like we definitely have a couple of contenders on our hands at Hard Rock Cafe. We have been here multiple times over the years and never once did we think of trying a burger. Give the burgers a try, it might be better than you think. We tried the Aloha Burger and Whiskey Burger from the World Burger Tour menu and left wanting more. We wish the burgers will stay for good we loved them that much!
R. R.
Service was great from start to finish. The servers were amiable and helpful(particularly the females), the food was delicious and the decor was epic. I will definitely want to come back.
Z. N.
Me and my work crew came here tonight for drinks and food. There are 11 of us. Really bad service. We ordered at the bar two of our guys are Celiacs and Gluten Free. We called the manager over and said we ordered the gf burger that comes with no gluten free bun and his reply was well you did order at the bar. What a joke that is such bad service and was not apologetic at all.my work college had to deconstruct her burger. Get some new staff and management. Not coming back after that.
N. Y. (.
Come here if your really after a big meal. The costs are expensive as you'd expect, but thankfully the portion sizes match. Live performances and it's tried and true theme guarantee a good mood
Just be wary they may take a while with the food - mine came out relatively cold which made the chicken in particular dry and quite hard to eat
T. R.
All Hard Rock Cafes are Iconic in design and atmosphere, and the Sydney location offers all this as well as a fantastic view of the harbor. Decent food, excellent service, and great overall experience. Would recommend to anyone searching for a fun place to eat on a weekend night with friends or family.
M. B.
Went here for the Nightclub and was really disappointed with their use of disposable plastic cups to serve all the drinks. They must have gone through hundreds of single-use plastic cups in one night. When you're paying $11 for a drink, it could at least come in a normal cup.
K. A.
As a Pyrmont local I've been here a few times with my husband and we always enjoy it. Yes, as some other reviews have pointed out it's not the greatest or quickest service and the food isn't 5 star but it doesn't pretend to be a fine dining experience and you don't pay for a fine dining experience.
The meals are very much American style and taste but if you love the novelty of it (as we do) it's great.
Pro Tip
It's a great place to enjoy Darling Harbour if it's raining as you have the most amazing view without getting wet
J. F.
Excellent service from Alan and the lovely guy on the front desk that secured us a table . Meal was delicious and we didn’t wait to long despite the restaurant being busy. Enjoyed the music and videos too
N. T.
Loved everything about the place. The service was very friendly, and it was just a great atmosphere. Love the old diner type restaurants. If you ever are looking for an 80s theme place, this is your go to.
L. A.
Sorry for the delay in giving my review had to wake up from my food coma. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere relaxing and comfortable, food... well you get the idea🤣
A. T.
The service I received at Hard Rock Cafe Sydney was Excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and were all very helpful when answering our questions regarding the menu. They made my experience at the Hard Rock Cafe Sydney a very memorable one. I will definitely be going back and recommending it to all my friends and family.
M. B.
Hard Rock Cafe Sydney is a classic rock rock cafe vibe - loud, lots of folks drinking, but still keeping it family friendly, and fun. It's right in Darling Harbour, so at night, the views are gorgeous especially on their outdoor seating. I love their Burgers and fries with a nice cold beer.
M. B.
We always try and visit a hard rock when in a new city, seated promptly but waited a little while for our order to be taken, it was a little busy. Food arrived after a short wait and was very nice, server was very good.
K. D.
food is consistent throughout the chain, burgers were nice enough albeit step in price ... what confuses me is each time i go there, it's lunch time and outside happy hour but they specifically give a drinks menu outlining happy hour....
S. S.
Great experience. Staff were brilliant, fast and friendly. Food was well cooked with decent prices and portion sizes. Typical awesome Hard Rock atmosphere; great music playing, memrobilia all over the place, and a HRC store downstairs. Good views too.
E. N.
Amazing food but really loud music
P. D.
I always tend to ask too much for in hard rock
C. M.
I took my family to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. The music was great, we loved the decor and our waiter could not have been more friendly or helpful. The big let down though was the food. Despite paying extra for chicken and avocado on the nachos, they was barely any topping on the corn chips and the tiny spoonful of sour cream on the top was almost an insult. The kids meal was also disappointing - we get bigger serves from MacDonalds for half the price. If you want value for money, this is not the place.
M. S.
3 stars for the ribs and burger. What's the story with Pepsi cordial (even a can would be good) and a handful of chips? Get serious please. And i don't need the waiter asking "how's everything" each time.
M. O.
Today I went to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch and Guilherme Almeida delivered an AMAZING service. With a continuous true smile on his face, he kept surprising us with an outstanding customer service. It’s my third time at the Hard Rock Sydney and I’m definitely coming back for more of that delicious food and great service!!
N. B.
I think people are being a little harsh on Hard Rock Cafe Sydney. I think if you go there with the expectation that it's not going to be fine dining, but just overpriced American diner type food served in a touristy type restaurant (in an equally touristy location), you won't be disappointed.
The only real difference I noticed with this Hard Rock Cafe and the others I've been to is that the one at Darling Harbour is massive. It was a Monday night when we visited and there were at least two large rooms which were curtained off, presumably to be opened at weekends and busier times. There was a live band playing, and the area we were sitting in was full with a mix of groups of locals and smaller tables of tourists.
The service was fine - probably wasn't as good as you'd find in some of the other Hard Rock locations, but that's because it's Australia and the waiters aren't expecting to get the American sized tips their colleagues in other countries receive.
T. B.
Like everywhere. Good food, nice staff
M. D.
The food is expensive but good on the over the top American sort of way. The southwest eggrolls and nachos are what we usually get. The drinks ks are also large and ridiculous but tasty. I went to the margarita competition and it was amazing. I drank 5 maragritas made by five different bars for $35 and voted for my fave. They were all really good margs and that's such a good deal for Sydney. I like these sorts of events and had a good experience so I hope the Hard Rock puts more on.
W. T.
To use Google's own words, "it's ok". The food was good and I cleared my plate. The Sydney Hardrock is caught somewhere between and American and Australian dining experience. The service is not on par with American restaurants and the pushing of tipping feels uncomfortable and strange in Australia where tipping is just not normally done. In regards to the food I went for the 2018 Thanksgiving and we hard the Turkey. The cranberry sauce was not included by mistake. The staff also felt very confused, trying to deliver food to the wrong tables etc. The process of paying felt strange. We got a check like an American restaurant, but I just wanted to pay and go. It's not like they would take my card to the register. So why bother with the check in a folder ceremony its it's not required. Just bring the EFTPOS machine and take my money instead of leaving me sitting for 5 minutes with the bill.
A. M.
Oh my god, unless you know sign language or don’t plan on talking to your friends or family whilst dining here, I’m suggesting you go somewhere else. The music is WAYYYY too loud. Yes, I’m in my 40s and considered “old” but seriously, someone needs to listen to customers comments when they feedback that it’s too loud.
Definitely not the place for me and I wish I had read the reviews beforehand.
I’m giving 4 stars as the actual service we received before getting up and leaving was excellent. I have no idea how the server was actually going to hear our order but she clearly has done a course in lip reading. Pre-requisite on their resumes maybe?
I enjoyed my meal at Hurricanes down the other end of the building.
Y.
I went to eat the steak but I found out it was my eldest grand daughter! I was a nice family reunion though. Tip: Let others know about the service:It was really goood
u. c. a. D. D. (. A.
The French bartender here from France fulfilling his last month before fruit picking starts for him!
Was the most charismatic uplifting bartender you would ever meet I tell you that right now!
So the boss, if you’re reading this, you are going to lose one heck of a customer service influence once he is gone!!!
Leffe blond available here with the best mac & cheese served with Chicken! 🙂 AAA+++
Not to mention the perfectively cooked sweet potato fries as well...
R.
Only went for a pre-dinner cocktail. The drinks menu is a tad inflated, price-wise, but I'd say the margarita I received was a US-sized portion and it was tasty enough. They advertised beers on the menu per bottle but fail to tell you that draught is more expensive, and don't ask which you'd prefer, so watch out for that.
A. R.
Having dined at the hard rock cafe darling harbour ,cannot fault the food or service, cam was a great help, but was very disappointed in the memorabilia shop as selection poor and everything in shirt size I was after,no size . All that was their was either small large extra large, At least London carries good size selection. Very very disappointed.
I. M.
Had to wait an hour after my order was placed to just get a cheese burger. It took a half an hour to get the beer I ordered. This has been the worst Hard Rock Cafe I've visited. They need a lot of help in proper service. Only visit if you have extra time & don't care when you get your food.
A. P.
I come here purely for the burgers and the potato skins..
Wow are they good. If you're in the area it's something to check out, wouldn't travel and hour purely for the food here though.
The service is average and the outside area is okay.
D. I.
great service and food.. amazing view of darling harbour. will be back everytime I come to Sydney!
I. G.
Great service, waiter was very nice and new everything on the menu, was easy to accommodate our needs. For was okay. Nothing special. Expected more for a Hard Rock Cafe.
V. Y.
This is one of two Hard Rocks in Australia. This one has very good location. The place is fairly large with two floors. It’s like all other typical Hard Rock Cafe. I also went to the shop buying pins. However the selection is very limited.
L. D.
Such great atmosphere, and amazing food! So many gluten free options, spoilt for choice! Recommend calling and booking priority seating as it was quite busy.
Can't wait to go back!
A. K.
Good Service, nice food
C. L.
All you can eat Pork Ribs on a Tuesday, The service was excellent, 5 star for wonderful staff, service with a smile, very genuine. The Ambiance was at its best and Its your staff that completes the venue. Thank you.
S. P.
Thank you for quick reply and understanding see you soon
C. S.
Drinks or Cocktails are First Class, food Is average (club Sandwich was just a toastie, Salmon wasn't cooked properly) and place is very dated needs a huge facelift...
C.
Good food for a decent price and friendly staff.
Thank you for a lovely last dinner in Sydney (and Australia) before we go home to the Nederlands tommorrow. You guys have something special here, the admosphere is really nice with you guys singing, dancing and smiling. Keep up the good work!
R. W.
It was okay but I've been to better. Had a steak and was a little overpriced for what it was. Only thing that made it was the staff, they were lovely!
M.
Had the Mac and Cheese and Grilled chicken fajitas. Mac and cheese was decent and flavourful but chicken was on the dry side and could be more well-seasoned. Server was really enthusiastic and welcoming.
A. B.
Not as good as the Hard Rock Cafes I have been to in the US. The food was fine, hot and served quickly. Dont go if you want to sit for awhile and enjoy the decor as the service is fairly intrusive. It was quite obvious they wanted to turn our table as quickly as possible. Wont go back again unfortuntaely.
G. C.
Excellent burger and appetizers. We came before the dinner rush, and the service was a bit slow (for Americans, but about as fast as any Aussie restaurant). Obviously, excellent music and atmosphere.
O. M.
Large portions, lots to choose from, good cocktail selection. Recommend the Nachos to share as they are huge, ribs are also good. Nice place to go on a Saturday or Sunday.
A. S.
Crowded daily but never lost the touch for being the place worth a visit for lunch or just hang-out. Great spot in the heart of Sydney area and you need to know that the waitress there are friendly and good-looking ...
R. T.
It's a Hard Rock...so everything's part of a winning formula. You don't need to know about burgers and ribs and cocktails. They are HR staples. But what is different here is the wonderful balcony overlooking Sydney's iconoclastic Darling Harbour. No where better to hang out as the sun sets. It's a must.
A. W.
Great place, great food, terrific service. We went there after the Professional Bull Riders . We ordered burgers they were delish . It was almost closing time but we were not rushed. !!
M. I.
Nice venue with great food!
E.
Absolutely loved it here. Good vibes, happy waiters and waitresses. Very well decorated. Food was great but took a fair while to get to us. Still worth the 5 stars.
S. E.
Pretty typical Hard Rock Cafe - comes with the usual stuff on the walls such as stage costumes, records and guitars. We were really impressed by the burgers and in particular the chips. It may not be the healthiest option in Sydney, but yes, it's definitely tasty. If you are lucky you get to sit outside, where you can enjoy views of Darling Harbour. Make sure you get a t-shirt at the shop!
K. J. H.
Hard Rock Cafe was amazing. On arrival one is greated with artifacts from around the music industry. If your table isnt ready you are offered a seat at the bar and are able to order food and drinks while you wait. the food itself was fantastic and satisfying, the service exeptional and the overall atmosphere was outstanding. Great american style food.
A. D.
Excellent and perfect hospitality
Quick service. Beautiful food but too much for 2 on the red balloon package. Perfect overall thank you so much guys. God bless
R. “. M.
The place is amazing. The customer service is awesome and the waiters/bartenders get along really well with every single one of their customers. The food there is amazing and the music is rocking there as well.
H. S.
Beautiful ambient as is all the hardrock cafes. Great food. Could do better with cocktails, not very delicious.
r. e.
Enjoyed cocktails and the music. Beautiful view

Service great, food average but watch out if you are paying by card. Automatically puts a tip onto the bill. Our bill was $74 and they were trying to charge a tip of $26. Didn't think this was allowed. Wont be back.

I had the twisted mac and cheese (twisted by adding chicken and interesting pasta I suppose). The food was as interesting as one could hope for with that description, the service was excellent and the view incredible. Plus, it is a Hard Rock, so you get music and videos and lots of interesting stuff on the walls.
Not for the gourmet, but good for a night out.

"Gui" - best host ever!! What made a friend's dinner most memorable for us, was not the food, the drinks, the music or the ambience, but our host for the evening - Gui. He was very friendly and talkative, helped loosen us up and by far, the most cheerful of the people who engaged with us during the evening. @HRC, please take note. Apart from Gui, food was decent enough, ambience was typical HRC. Ww couldn't thank him before leaving, as he was busy making people comfortable at other tables. Thanks to Gui for making it a very enjoyable and memorable evening for us!

If you are in the mood for American food and are in Darling Harbour Hard Rock Cafe is the place to go. Burgers and Nachos are solid here. The decor is pretty silly and not really my scene (we were sat next to Shaggy's Jacket) but food was what we were looking for.

You can never go wrong with Hard Rock Cafe.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive.
In addition to this the fod might be a bit pricey but is well worth it.
Personal favourite and must trys are the Nachos to share and The Texan

From the moment you enter the Hard Rock it encompasses all that is the hard rock. I have been to the Hard Rock Cafe in Dublin, Manchester, and New York and the Hard Rock in Sydney is up there with the best of them. The views from the Hard Rock Cafe Sydney are fabulous, you are looking out on to Darling Harbour. We had a lovely seat just inside the balcony area, nice views and sheltered from the wind. The food was amazing, the Aussie Burger is well worth a try.

Much improved menu with tasty and spicy fare. Great views. Service attentive and fast. There will be a wait due to it being very popular.

Dropped in here for lunch, my host Guilherme was a fantastic and made me feel very welcome, and he recommended the best burger I’ve had in years... the Guiness cheeseburger. Highly recommended.

Absolutely terrible - We've eaten at Hard Rocks all around the world, but this was by far the worst experience I've had. I would rate it as one of the worst meals I've had at any establishment - the food was so disgusting that I felt physically sick while eating it. The staff were very unhelpful - everyone we tried to ask just said they'd go get 'our' waiter - 5 minutes later they still hadn't come. I would never return, it is a disgrace to Sydney to have such a terrible restaurant!

Nice food but bar closes quite early in the evening

Amazing food and drinks, and not very expensive considering the location. I accidentally got over-charged once and the manager invited me back for a free drink and dessert. Highly recommend this place.

I know it's a chain, but that's why I went there. I wanted something from the menu that I had at the hard rock in Malaysia.. And.. They delivered. It tasted identical. The views here were great too!

This restaurant is so cool. It has one of the best hamburgers of the city. It is the perfect place to have fun with friends. There are a lot of instruments of famous people there. You can take a lot of photographs.

Great food, good service.

the signiture burger is great with lovely steak fries, however the overall quality is not really competitive with other cafes around darling harbour.
the service is fine with nice customer service.
overall, not too bad

Food:
Fiesta burger; Surprisingly stayed together to the last bite without falling appart. Good taste and size. Oreo cheesecake was dam good.
Ambiant music;
Justim bieber is not ok to play as a place called "hard rock". It's also not ok to play him twice. Rest of the music was ok, too loud though.
Parking;
HA
Staff;
Booked a table and told we had to wait 20 mins. They do have waiting seats.
Toilets;
Like pissing on a wall. Strange choice to have a red glass urinal.

Good food which is hard to get in Sydney for my American tastes (but has improved from the late 90's last visit). Very pricey for what you get, but you are paying for the location.

Absolutely loved it here. Good vibes, happy waiters and waitresses. Very well decorated. Food was great but took a fair while to get to us. Still worth the 5 stars.

I made a reservation in advance for a group of 7, because I knew it would be busy on Saturday. When we arrived, we weren't complete yet and were told to wait till everyone arrived. Apart from that, our table wasn't ready yet. 10 minutes …

Our young overseas visitor wanted to go here and we all enjoyed the night out. Service was friendly and prompt.food was plentiful and in keeping with the theme. More than happy to recommend it for those impromptu night outs.

Great burgers and the staff are very fun to chat with! Check out the decor - especially near the restrooms. If you're lucky - you can dance to the music videos with the staff!

Excellent place to come and have dinner. Staff are very friendly and attentive, food is excellent with plenty to share and atmosphere is amazing with plenty of music memorabillia and facts to keep the table talking for hours

Service was excellent thanks Zac
My daughter says the best gluten free Burger she has ever had

Lovely music, good prices. Covid restrictions make it difficult to build atmosphere. But I had a great evening out.
L. B.
Restaurant size and atmosphere very underwhelming - I thought it would be much bigger. Food was ok, nothing to shout about. Portion size for regular chips very small! Expensive for what you actually get.
E. H.
I felt a little guilty eating here while visiting from the US, but I got a great seat overlooking Darling Harbor and the food was good. The service lacked a little though.

Despite long wait time on a busy Saturday night. The staff were still able to accommodate me with a table to wait. Lots of entertainment at the venue so I didnt mind the long wait.
J. A.
It was ok experience. Food wasn't that great. My expectations were higher but unfortunately it wasn't that good. I've been to other hard rock cafes Specially in other countries like Vietnam and my experience was much better then this one.
G. Q.
This Hard Rock Cafe had a very good sms 4 but the music was a bit too quiet. The drinks have been very delicious but like every Hard Rock Cafe they've been too expensive.

Food was good, however not opening down stairs till 11:30 while there was a good 20 people waiting is a bit slack... once everyone was let upstairs the manager tried to blame It on the poor sales guy in the shop who was nothing but nice and kept calling and texting to manager say everyone was waiting!
B. L.
There is a reason this place has a big name. Service is spectacular, very american-ised, and the food looks as good in real life as it does in the photos. If you haven't been, you need to go now.

The best cocktails made by the best server Marco! I’d highly recommend after the way Marco served us! Will definitely be coming back!

Hard Rock Cafe in SYdney is the best venue for a night out. The staff are extremely friendly, and are willing to bend over backwards to help out customers (and even passers by!)
Food was fantastic and we got a seat fairly quickly for a Saturday evening (~5pm) Was overwhelmed by the atmosphere!

Ate Salmon. It was good. Great atmosphere, can feel the vibe. Thanks to staff named Jesse, very good service. I can feel warm welcoming.

Hard Rock Cafe is a great place to enjoy your happy hours and have good moments with your family and friends. It is located in Darling Harbour, one of the most beautiful places in Sydney. The restaurant has a delicious food and a great service - that is the reason why it is famous in all over the world. In Hard Rock Cafe Sydney, you can enjoy your meal whereas you appreciate the Darling Harbour Bridge's view.

An excellent venue in the heart of Sydney

Had an awesome time with Luke on music bingo Wednesday... gonna miss it when back home in Adelaide

Food was good, but service is total mess. One person taking orders, another brings wine, third carry food, fourth one taking care of bills. Everything was mixed up, food was brought to the wrong table, wine didn't even make it.
B. G.
It's a fun place. Cocktails are great but the food was just ok. I know it's a music place but it was a little loud very hard to hear people
S. M.
Same food and atmosphere as other HR's I've been to, great view of the harbor. Within walking distance to many hotels and shopping.

Fantastic ambience with view of Darling harbour. Food quality and quantity are both up to mark according to price. Drinks are little too expensive but worth a try.

Food was spot on! No waiting around! And there's a waiter that looks just like rag'n'bone man, think his name was Joshua, he was well sound! Best service in Sydney so far!

Love the place n the food. Collector of hard rock t-shrts and made sure I buy one every time I visited Sydney. But this was the only time I came empty handed. T-shrts were very pricy..
