Best place in town by far. Chilled relaxed atmosphere with friendly wait staff. Has a great vibe backed up by gear Mexican food and awesome cocktails. Live music added to the atmosphere. Order at the table via app and drinks and food magically arrive. Great array of tequila based cocktails. So happy to see a place make a good Caipirinha, took me back to South America. We ordered the 4 tacos which were tasty and filling. Must have the salsa Roja.

We got the calamari, fish and chicken tacos and they were all incredible. If the kitchen didn't close by the time we had finished our first serving, we both agreed we would have ordered every other taco on the menu (our fault for arriving late). It's not a tacky rip-off Mexican venue, they have quality ingredients and well thought out menu. Even the side of guacamole was delicious. The extensive list of margaritas was a Tequilla and Mezcal dream. The staff were friendly and happy and the venue is beautiful.

We ate here twice during our weekend in Crescent. The food is authentic Mexican, delicious, fresh and great value. With a fabulous & varied drinks menu and great kids options this is the best place to dine in Crescent Head. The staff are friendly, the owners are lovely and with live music on Friday and a DJ on Saturday, there really is something for everyone. Do yourself a favour and book a table, you won’t be disappointed 😊

Great setting & healthy...ish Mexican but not traditional Mexican. Prices are reasonable and the food is freeesh! Liquor prices are good though I think we’re all sick to death of expecting that we’ll earned glass of red or white & copping 200cls. Mind you, this’s been a wonderful windfall for both the respective governments & the proprietors of these fine establishments & certainly addresses the responsible service of alcohol but to me, it’s like someone sticking their finger up at you & saying, “that’s all you can have”! La Costa, consider BYO & charge a reasonable corkage. I went for the pseudo seafood basket. Healthy? Maybe not but fresh? Yes! Much more can be done to improve the experience, both from service & customer engagement (which is minimal) to menu variety but it’s worth a visit! You be the judge.

We turned up early for our booking and were met by I think the owner manager who was very welcoming,the food and drinks were delivered quite quickly and were delicious and very substantial.We enquired about a certain brand of tequila that was on display behind the bar and he provided an amazing amount of information about the product's process of manufacture, as well as the other high quality brands used on the drinks menu. It was a great dining experience and highly recommended. Thanks for great evening.

Tonight I drank the best tequila I have ever tasted. I spotted the brand on the shelf behind the bar, and asked the proprietor about it, as I'd never seen the brand in any other bar. There are many other top class brands he stocks which makes it a must to visit. Food was great and good value. The most welcoming place in Crescent Head.

What a gem! Lovely authentic Mexican food in vibrant Spanish style building. Very fitting. The food was authentic and reminded me and my wife of our travels in Mexico and Central America. Amazing Salsas, Delicious Margaritas and the Tacos were divine. Staff were friendly and prompt which was great. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and cant wait to come back to Crescent Head and eat here again.

I’ve eaten a lot of great Mexican food over the years... having travelled to California and Mexico. I must say... this place has nailed it! The tacos were amazing just like what you’d get in California. The margaritas were ice cold. The corn chips and salsa spot on! Just like salsa verde from Mexico! Will be coming here every time we come back to crescent head. Would love to see some Mexican beers added to the menu!

Spent New Year’s Eve sharing a wonderful meal at a fantastic new venue. Despite the chaos caused by bad weather, the staff were quick to adapt the seating arrangement to accommodate everyone as best they could. The food was incredible and quick to arrive. So much flavour in every dish, can’t wait for the full menu to arrive later in the month

Located in a building that was made for this restaurant the stars really aligned for this place. A simple menu, consisting of flavor packed favorites, and cocktails that pack a punch, it’s hard to beat. Incredible fit out inside, spilling out into a cactus 🌵 filled courtyard with comfortable seating! Place is full of good vibes and very chill. Felt like we were far from home ✈️ 🍸 😄

One of the coolest venues to hit Crescent! What a vibe! The food was amazing, the Margs were next level! We were greeted & seated by friendly staff who explained how to do our covid check in. She Explained the menu and gave us some great recommendations. I love the ease of ordering and paying at the bar as you go, so relaxed! Can’t wait to have another Sunday Sesh soon!

Food's delicious but it takes a loong long time to arrive 50mins If you're paying $100 for Mexican for two, the least you could do is not let them wait in the cold for 50 minutes. Food was great, half the staff were attentive, the rest were pretty blasé. Overpriced.

Great food, really vibrant and thoughtful Mexican dishes, not your average El Paso haha. Service is great, they are always really friendly, and the atmosphere is beachy with a nice South American vibe, the place is really nice. You can sit inside or outside, the heaters kept us comfy in winter.
