Went out for dinner for the first time in such a long time, now that we are finally allowed to go out again. This place is exactly what you would expect from a steakhouse in Blacktown. We had a good time here as a group of friends! Our table attendant/waitress Breanna was also great fun, deserves a pay rise!

My family and I had a great experience here at Lonestar. Food was yummy, fresh and value for money. The “Old Dave Tribute” burger was the top fav. Reason for only 4 star is because we didn’t receive our ribs and steak order but our wait staff Jared was very apologetic and shouted us free ice cream. (Can’t say no to that). Jared’s service was exceptional and he should get a pay rise! I would come back definitely!! :)

great experience for our dinner night we used a groupon voucher yes and the food was great no complaints can't fault any of it. we got a entree and main each and desert all were great my wife could not finish the meal though but that is ok. it was our anniversary of being married 21 years and we just got home from work so bit last minute was a great night out though been a while. oh brownie desert me personally needs a little more icecream and no whipped cream on side. so Thanks for the nice steak and ribs, the great cheese fries or amarillo fries. staff were great and friendly and approachable if needed.

Great choices of typical Texan eats on the menu. Steak portions relatively smaller and thinner. As for the quality of the rare Cowboy Cut Prime Rib I ordered was a 6/10 for me. Some non meat choices on the menu catering for the non meat eaters. Would come here again to try the ribs though. Friendly staff, good atmosphere.

Went here with my partner for our anniversary and we ordered the 1.5kg Tomahawk. I was left reeling from how good it was but we couldn’t finish it, probably shouldn’t have gotten extra ribs but they were delicious too! Great atmosphere and theme, and the staff were very polite 😄

The service is really attentive, which is a plus. The food is OK, nothing incredible, but the chips and mozzarella sticks are amazing. I am told the kids ribs are amazing though. The espresso Martini is a major letdown, served like it is a readymix from a bottle - but the mocktails are nice if you're into something sweet. Service is very attentive, checking in regularly to ensure we have everything we needed. They are running a promo of a small dessert for a review. This is not an incentivised review.

We were surprised that after paying $39.95 for a Ribeye that you'd still have to pay extra for the sauce. The ribs are too dry and was over cooked, had to drink to help get my food down. The BBQ sauce was good, but overall if you're looking for ribs, it's probably not the place to go. However the staff were pretty good and were friendly, so that was a plus side. It was also advertised to have eat all you can ribs and wings, but there was nothing on the menu that showed this. Probably not coming back though, pretty expensive for average food.

Don’t enter if you are not hungry, vegan or vegetarian. The place smells so delicious as soon as you enter, the smell of ribs, ribs and more ribs. I have been coming to this place for decades and it never seems to disappoint me…oh and one last thing if you’re allergic to peanuts be extremely careful because they’ve always had a barrel of peanuts at the front as soon as you enter (or just take your epi pen). Service is still the same, eat, the staff sings happy birthday song to some random table, smiles and ask if you need anything else, says thank you and you leave filling “full as bull”! Everyone needs to go there just to say yep, that’s exactly what they do, even if your a vegan.

Ahh... Love Lone Star. Great steak, fantastic atmosphere. I brought my 2 sons here for my birthday. I've been attending the lone Star restaurant since one opened in Parramatta nearly 20 years ago. I miss the chili con carne with the pickled jalapeno, but the steaks here are incredible. We ordered nachos - a great version of this classic, and a nicely sized portion; the porterhouse - medium rare, and done perfectly, with their signature sweet potato. Sigh. And a chicken schnitzel - beautiful.

Hosted a family lunch at Lone Star Rib House and was definitely not disappointed!! It was super great with fast service and extremely delicious food!! We ordered 2 of every entree and a main meal followed by desserts.. everyone was so full by the end of it and very satisfied!!

Lone Star in Blacktown is certainly a place that stands out with its Americana Texas Saloon frontage. Lone Star are known for their steaks, ribs and burgers but they decided on something a bit lighter. The menu does have plenty of filling options for those with big appetites but also plenty for customers after something quick or light too.

Year 2022 All you can eat ribs, chicken wings and chips for $45, if you can polish this plate, you can have another plate for free, Goodluck with that, I could barely finish half of it! Year 2018 Free tub of peanuts 🥜 when you arrive. Eat all you can ribs platter with chips and chicken is a great value for $29. Heaps of parking space on the premises.

This was an amazing experience for my husband, my daughter and myself. From the moment we walked in the door the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. We were quickly seated offered free nuts and our orders were placed promptly. Drawing paper and pencils were placed in front of my daughter without me having to ask. Even though we arrived at a busy time on a Friday evening, our food came out quickly and was delicious! Staff attended to our table several times throughout short seating to ensure we were happy with the food, we had enough serviettes and check everything was okay. The cost was amazing about $75 for three of us to eat - all you can eat ribs and wings x 2 Kids Dagwood dog with chips and all you can eat ice cream Kids lemonade & a beer. Great value for money if you ask me We will definitely be returning! Thank you Lone Star 👍🏼

The kids meals were very good. We required an adjustment to the kids meal due to food allergies, and an alternative was provided. The adult main meals were average, for a steak house and the price. Had a wonderful experience at Lonestar 14.1.21. Our lovely server G was very attentive and made sure we had everything we requested. The food was delicious, my dad had a steak and ribs combo. I had the cheese burger and cheese fries. Our eyes popped out when my dad’s plate came to the table and he enjoyed every bit of his meal. My burger was delicious and no matter where I go to have cheese fries, none of them compare to Lonestar. We definitely got our money’s worth and I will definitely be dining there again.

I am only giving 4 stars because I do feel that the ambience of the restaurant was lacking. The decor felt a little cold and outdated however it was clean and comfortable. Also... we ordered the waffle for dessert and whilst the ice cream, strawberries, cookies and honeycomb were tasty, the waffle was not. It is a belgian waffle that lacked the freshness and warmth of an actual homemade waffle. But other than that, the ribs and the steaks were tops and the milkshakes were superb. We will be back!

First time ever to Lone Star. Very large extensive menu. Very poor presence of salad except a few items on the salad section, most included adding meat of some kind and/or was caesar salad based. No choice to choose between salad and chips when ordering burgers. Didn't know burgers came with chips, or would have ordered a salad as a side instead of loaded fries. Bacon on loaded fries was tasteless, didn't carry normal bacon flavours. Cheese on loaded fries wasn't anything tasty. I believe If they used a better quality cheese, it would make it take a lot better. I believe there needs to be improvements based on giving people a choice on mains chips, salad or potentially veggies. Otherwise burger meat was ok. The menu said burgers had lots of cheese. 2 pieces in a double cheese burger is not lots of cheese. It's 2 slices. Smothered in their bbq sauce. It was a small amount of sauce. Although nice, there was nothing smothered about the sauce. Great decor, and friendly and helpful staff. Free peanuts!!!

Those who know me know that I can be a bit of a princess in regards to customer service. Call me Peach, because tonight was no different. Lone Star has a great selection of finger foods. I only say this because we didn't recieve our cutlery until we asked for it, after the main meals were served. We had a 20 minute wait for our table. We tried to book ahead but didn't get an answer. Oh well. Not ideal. But forgivable. My darling room mate ordered a coke and had to wait 20 minutes for it. This is around 18 minutes more than you'd expect. Our entrees were faster than that. Speaking of food, the food was decent. My companion liked the ribs. He rated the garlic bread a 5/5. My burger was okay. I like the chips. The price was alright. I'm a pub food guy from way back, and these meals weren't horribly expensive. Drinks a little bit rich though. The staff were mostly quite young. They were fine, outside of the tardy drink, but I felt a little let down as I do enjoy a perve with my meal - too young, but fine. This has not impacted my rating, but men beware! The front of house dude looked as though he was at the wrong end of the M4 Motoway with his bushy hipster beard and meh attitude. He is probably a good bloke, but I didn't get an apology for them missing my reservation call. Princess me wasn't impressed. Oh well. It's fine. Lone Star Rib House is a solid option for a social gathering. I like the TVs with the footy on. It's a good location and spacious within. The food was decent. The service was okay. But I wasn't impressed. Penrith has a lot of options within this market, and this establishment is okay. It's fine. 3 stars. 20 minutes for a coke.

Have been there several times. Over all it’s good restaurant. They welcome you with a complementary Peanuts. Some times they have great deals on dessert. Food is alright. But Management should seriously consider extending the trading hours. Around 8:30 pm staffs would be in rush & go to “let’s close this place” mode. It’s so common to hear “ Sorry our kitchen is closed.” Can do better

I personally enjoyed the food and so did the friends and family I was with. Great ambience, free peanut buckets and some really good deals $29.95 all you can eat ribs and wings or for the same price a 1kg bucket of wings with choice of sauce and 4 beers. Staff were polite and didn't wait long at all for our food. It will obviously take a while if it's busy so it shouldn't be something to complain about and maybe a few might be exaggerating about wait time. Why not just have a few cold ones while you wait. I for one had a great experience and have been there a few times and would definitely go again.

We came for lunch today on Boxing day! There was one other couple in the restaurant. We ordered drinks/food from the waitress who was very young! Although she was friendly, she wasn't quite sure of menu items etc. I ordered a Ginger beer with ice. She just brought out the Ginger beer, no glass & certaiinly no ice. After the wrong garlic bread was brought out, they brought out another. Then our mains arrived. We got the Bait Main for 2 and it was quite nice. We were very happy with the calamari and the prawns. Whilst we were eating, both waitresses were sweeping and mopping the floors and then would stop to deliver the food and just leave the mop/brooms at the table's. Which was totally unnacceptable, especially when it was still within the lunch time period. (& not just before closing). But the thing that totally blew us away was we had some food left over from our main. We asked if it could be put in a container etc and we could take it away. Well the waitress just brought out the containers for us to do it ourselves. Have never quite experienced anything like that before. Whilst they were very friendly, the total inexperience was quite obvious. I would not want to be there on a busy night, as not sure what may have happened.

Also the beer was well abpve hot prices. $9.80 to just under $5.00. Value for money 3/ 5 service 5 / 5 ambience 4/5. Likely to go back 2/5. Booths are lower seating positipn so I would choose a table and chair should I return.
