I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Mario Brothers. My friends and I ordered a range of pizzas and pastas dishes and they were delicious. Make sure you save room for dessert as their tiramisu is amazing. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. I also appreciated the way the interiors have been decorated with all things Italy, which added to the atmosphere.

By far the best garlic prawns I have tasted in north shore, it’s a must try. Pizza was super good. Dine in area is quite small so recommend that you make reservations. Can’t wait to try their pastas, will post an update soon.

Yum yum yum and would surely come back! If you like something spicy on the side, try their spicy/chilli oil. Service was quick too. Reservation is a must so you are sure of a table as the place is a bit small.

Authentic, homely, hole in the wall feeling joint. The pizza and pasta is great! What's more there are full, high quality vegan menu. The staff and the owner are really friendly. It's by no means classy, but even on a Wednesday night it was buzzing.

We had a very pleasant evening here and everything ran smoothly, starting from the online booking and prompt email confirmation from the manager. As there were only two of us dining we were squeezed into a small table in the back corner which would have been a tad claustrophobic had it been full, but being the new Covid age, and with only two or three other occupied tables, we were quite comfortable in our cosy little nook. The internal heating kept the place warm even though it was a chilly night. Our pretty waitress was attentive, friendly and efficient. Orders were quickly taken. First came the drinks, followed by the garlic bread and salad, then the mains. It all flowed like a well oiled machine with no long waiting in between courses. And in a nice touch, our waitress would ask us if we were ready for the next course and in what order we would like our meals. For our mains we both chose pasta dishes, which were delicious. My spag with meatballs was cooked perfectly and the size was just right, not too big to overwhelm or too small to leave one still feeling hungry afterwards. The lettuce and tomato salad was wholesome and nutritious with a nice tangy dressing. For dessert, what else, but our fav tiramisu and what a winner that was too. It was fresh and creamy; the perfect way to end the meal. The interior of the restaurant is colourfully decorated in trad Italian colours of white, green and red, It has a homely and warm feeling to it, a tad cramped if it got really busy with tables packed quite close to one another and the sound of other diners reverberating around the place, but with a small turnout, we were easily able to converse. The toilets are out at the back. There’s a single unisex one, but it’s clean and well provisioned with all the right health messages plastered on the walls. This is a first class restaurant on every level. The fact that it’s been here at the same location for decades is testimony to its outstanding food and service. It’s stood the test of time. These guys make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. They appreciate your custom and it’s a pleasure to spend an evening here. With my 25% Ent Book voucher (up to a max $25), we paid a modest $68 for two drinks, garlic bread, salad, two mains and shared dessert. Can’t complain about that! There’s easy and unrestricted parking in Ernest Street, a short 12 minute level stroll away or there’s always the Woolworths car park, in Burlington Street, with two hrs free parking. If you’re lucky and with things being so quiet you may even find a spot outside on the Pac Highway.

The place is a bit small, but still comfy and definitely not a let-down to the overall experience. Been ordering Home Delivery from these guys for over 6 years. Out of 60+ deliveries there was only one time they delivered the wrong salad but they gave me a free one the next time I ordered. Great family business and terrific service. I recommend their pizza's and you can tell the pasta's are made with recipes passed down the generations. Recommend going out for dinner, old school Pizza place and get to know them, so rare these days.

Great tasting pizza!!! They don’t have a wood fired oven, yet they are able to produce nice bases and have an array of options. Ingredients are always fresh and they cater to special requests. The service here is always fantastic. The table setting inside is quite tight but makes it nice and cosy. And out the back is great for group functions. They also offer home delivery which had never failed to also be on point. Although there are other pizza options in the lower Northshore with pizza ovens, this is a beaut little choice. Price is reasonable. Only place that has better pizza in the surrounding area is in Lane Cove.

Expecting lots of guests, I rang Mario Brothers, because they are local, independent and we have eaten there before a few years ago. Excellent service and good pizzas. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Here is why: At 5.30pm, I decreased our order from 25 down to 12. “No problem", said Guy. "I will put your refund in the parcel as cash.” Done ✅ ½ hour later I called again and moved our delivery time from 6.30 to 7.30. “No problem", said Guy. "We will see you at 7.30” And we did see them at 7.30 with 12 hot, delicious Pizzas. Thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am in RNS hospital starving and sad from the horrible food. I just wanted something like mum would have made.. I have to tell you that it was better than anything mum ever made! For authentic Italian Pizza and Pasta, there is no better place than Mario Brothers Pizza in Crows Nest. It's a family run restaurant where the staff are very friendly and easy going! The make the pizzas fresh and fast! Definately worth checking out if you have run out of ideas for dinner!! Great for footy time too!

There are other pizza places in Crows Nest, but this is the one we almost always go to. Pizzas are beautifully thin and crispy, with a wide range of traditional and original topping combinations. The special pizza misto is awesome - seafood, pumpkin, chilli. Pastas are good too.

I've been here for dinner and also to grab takeaway. It's a good atmosphere with really friendly staff. Last time I went in was for takeaway and got the Phuket pizza - Chicken, fetta, mushroom, roast cashews, bbq sauce topped with mint yoghurt. The ingredients all tasted really fresh and it wasn't a greasy feed. The pizzas are thin crust - and you can get traditional favourites as well as gourmet. I'm told the pasta is excellent here too. This is a case of you get what you pay for - the small pizzas start at around $15 but they really are good - this is for people that want to enjoy their food, not just grab pizza hut or dominos (cheap and not even close to being tasty). I'd also recommend hopping on the website and joining their birthday club - definitely worthwhile.

Felt like I was transported into a little trattoria in the middle of Venice. The pizza and pasta was authentico and squisto. Chianti was fiery and luscious. Gelato was very 1980s Leichardt, which I liked !!! Plus a team of friendly staff makes all the difference.
