coffee was nice ... not too hot this time so didn't burn my tongue ... I also ordered a 'toasted' ham, cheese, tomato toasty. It had no tomato and only toasted on 1 side. ... 2nd time this has happened but when you are pushed for time I guess it served its purpose

Went inside to order takeaway, as travelling through and needed to break up the long trip with a toilet stop and stretching the legs. Toilets clean and pleasant. Staff members friendly, especially one in particular took a moment to engage myself and my little boy. Very lovely lady. However I ordered a McMuffin with no bacon and 2 hash browns. What I got was a McMuffin with no egg, just cheese and bacon (I don’t eat bacon so literally had a cheese sandwich!) and only 1 hash brown. I wasn’t able to return it as we had already driven away and pressed for time. The store was not busy so I couldn’t see any excuse. I may stop on my return trip for the toilets and perhaps a coffee as the staff were lovely. Probably won’t get the food again though.

Me and my dad went into this Mcdonald’s this morning around 9:30 and the food was amazing and so was service. Although it was not quite busy the staff were still so quick to service our food and all of it was fresh and hot, so delicious! The staff were relaxed and super sweet which made the atmosphere super relaxed and made me feel very comfortable. They wished me a great day and just wanted to mention them as they were super kind and prepared the food very quick and it was outstanding! :)

One of the hardest working McDonald's crew in NSW. My family always stop by here from a 90min drive from Western Sydney. The staff is well trained to handle high volume of customers at peak breakfast time. Food is good as expected especially when the crew is under the pump. Good job guys!

Had a great experience here, thanks to Gina, the customer service extraordinaire. She entertained my 2 yo son for me while I attended to my eldest son in the bathroom. Was unbelievably helpful, understanding and professional! Definitely deserves a raise $$$. Food was fine, same as every other Macca's, but if any of the other staff are 1/10th as diligent as Gina then it puts it top of the local list. As we drove back past after our weekend away, my eldest even asked to stop in just to see her again!

If McDonald's suits you this is just like the others. It can be hard to get into and out of the parking area in peak times due to packed streets. Clean stop for a highway break. Excellent access as all Macca's are. The quality of the food, or lack of it, is definitely a matter of opinion.

Fantastic service nice tall young lady helped us with the self serve kiosk (very impersonal device introduced as cost saving) made the whole experience little less robotic. Did find the less than personal service extend to ordering coffee , have to go to one counter then back to coffee counter to pick up. This is not directed to any of the staff but back to Macca's the all mighty dollar is not the most important part of the deal , it's customer service and loyalty.

Rushed in on the way back from a family weekend away and was blown away by the customer service, particularly with how they looked after my two young daughters. It's hard not to be a little biased, considering this is my place of work, but I do believe this is the best McDonald's in the area. Compared to nearby stores, it is quicker and more accurate. Some crew may not have the best customer service skills, but others will go above and beyond to ensure a good experience. The location on the highway is great for travellers, but just be cautious of the quaint sized car park as it is a very busy restaurant.

It may sound weird for McDonald's, but this place may require quality of service improvement. We ordered two times during the evening. First time fries and salad sources were missing (2 out of 5 items in pick up list). Salad packages were oily and milkshake spills on the cup were not cleaned. The issue with missing items was rectified by staff when I requested. When we ordered second time, the cheeseburger was oily. I hope it was a bad day and one-off.

Cleanest mcdonalds toilets ever. Lots of toilet stalls , around 5 or 6. Usually maccas that I've visited have only 2 stalls. Plenty of touch screen self service machines as well. I had to wait in line outdoors before entering the maccas, due to covid restrictions. Service was quick. I had a good m&m mcflurry. Definitely a popular maccas located in a popular convenient spot

It's Maccas. The service can be impeccable one day and sloppy the next. But they keep our kids in a job so who am I to complain. Not that happy about the self serve kiosks as that will eventually mean you don't get service unless you go through drive through and who knows they might make a self serve there as well. I took a school group of 15 boys and had mixed reviews. This McDonald's is in a very convenient location for school trips, so that's a plus. Food really varied, half rated the food well a(3-5 star for McDonalds) the other half gave one star due to cold food and wrong orders. So quality is slightly inconsistent. Cleanliness was 2.5 stars, with quite messy bathrooms and floors in general (even though I'm sure that's hard to maintain). The customer service was boosted to 3-4 star due particularly to a lovely lady named Gina, who was voted by the boys as the nicest McDonalds worker in NSW. Coffee was quality on this occasion.

A wonderful Maccas to stop into on the drive north. Located on the Pacific Hwy, it isn't hard to miss. I feel that the building was new as everything looked modern, sharp and clean. The toilets were especially new and super clean and there is lots of parking.

Average Macca's. However, as with every Macca's I've visited recently, none have adequate hand sanitisation processes in the toilets! Yes, they have hand basins and handwash available. IN THE TOILET FACILITY! Does anyone study how many people actually wash their hands after using toilet facilities? And those who don't, spread their viruses or bacterial load all over the door handles. Usually, two door handles. Yes, some folks grab the handles with a part of their clothing. Some use toilet paper or a tissue. But why? Why can't Macca's put hand sanitiser outside the toilet facilities. In the restaurant area perhaps? So, when you use toilet facilities at Macca's, you could be only two doors from COVID-19!

Heatherbrae Maccas are one of the busiest and cleanest. Easy to get to, parking during busy times can be hard to find, but you can find extra parking at Bunnings carpark (which is right next-door. You have to go around the corner to access it). Service is good, but during busy times they should have more staff on and open more registers up. Food is good, plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Plenty of toilets which are kept clean (for the public that don't keep the toilets clean I'd hate to see your toilets at home). All in all its a good place to stop have a rest, a bite to eat & freshen up during a long drive.

We were at Mcdonalds at 4.45pm Wednesday 1 November 2017. We have just left McDonalds at Heatherbrae and was very very disappointed with the food that was dished up to us. Our coffees were only luke warm, we asked for extra hot, it was also on the docket. We had to drink them straight down otherwise they would have been cold before we finished them. My husband had a slice of raisin toast and it was so thinly squashed he had trouble biting into it. My husband spoke to the barista who had served him, she replied "i will pass it on"!!! So if this person is going to pass it on is she going to say, " a customer complained to me because of the service i provided"!!!!! I am sure not!!!! The hand dryer in the men's toilet was not working and has been like this for some time. This restaurant is sliding downhill and only trading on its location. Also while I am passing on my sentiments who was the bright spark at the Head Office who decided that Coeliacs at Mcdonalds Mcafe don't deserve to be to eat GF friands and almond orange cake. Please reply to me.

Newly renovated, however during busy periods, a nightmare. Drive thru has expended to two lanes, but still has the same old bottleneck of one Lane to receive orders. If you can't get what you want, you have to wait to go all the way through (no overtaking lane). And then trying to get back on the highway during peak periods is shocking, because the queue backs up through drive thru. Would not recommend going into the now even smaller carpark with a trailer. Park In the masters car park instead.

Typical mc donalds fast food restaurant. Has rest rooms, no children's play area. Good quick service, and can order using there self service computers. Also has drive through for on the go fast food. Just off the high way into newcastle and on the way to sydney.

Most McDonalds are roughly the same but we visited this one twice in three weeks - both times neither of the ladies toilet hand dryers were working and there was no hand towel in its place!

We stopped at the Heatherbrae McDonalds because we had a bad experience at the Raymond Terrace McDonalds. The Raymond Terrace store had a young man serving who didn't know about his product or the deals that they have and when questioned said he didn't know how to fix it, so we were over charged there, meal was great. The Heatherbrae store was more convenient as a stopover but for two things, the male who handled our order was totally useless in knowing how to do a toastie, it took to goes and the second over cooked, also the hot chocolate was not real hot and had too much chocolate powder making it very bitter. Sorry McDonalds we will stop somewhere else.
