Amazing little restaurant! After walking the streets trying to find something that appealed to us we initially were headed for the seafood restaurant next door when my partner suggested we give it a go. So glad we did. Food was delicious and well priced and staff were amazing. Our waitress was helpful with food suggestions even though it was her first shift. Highly recommend if you’re in the area you pop in for dinner.

After reading all the reviews here my partner didn’t want to come here. But I put my foot down and said let’s just try it. From the moment we walked in the staff where very polite and on the ball, they took us to a table at the back of the restaurant and yes if you look to the right you see the bottle shop but I looked to my left and it was full of people with ocean views! The waiter come over and said I know I just sat you down it lien like you want to order i said you on the ball I would love a jug of white sangria please. My partner order an Australian beer on tap. I ended up asking for a plain glass of wine to add to the sangria because it was to sweet. But it was still lovely We decided to go with tapas so we order 4 things. First was the sea bugs. Then the grilled octopus, then the muscles and then the garlic prawns. The sea bugs where very subtle in flavour and where cold but supper fresh! Then we had the octopus my partner loved them. He loved the aioli sauce it came with. Then we had the muscle because they where a little less full on then the prawns. The muscles where supper fresh very tomato and garlic flavour. The garlic prawns was full of garlic with a hint of chilli spice I totally loved this one. My partner and I looked at each other and said we are still a bit hungry so then we decided to order the grilled chicken tenderloins and the meat balls. We liked these but we though it wasn’t the wow factor like the other dishes so we decided to order one more dish. We decided on the lamb cutlets but they where out of stock. So My partner decided to order the chorizo and prawn and it was amazing. It reminded me of a boscaiola sauce. But the flavour from the Chorizo gave it the wow facto, I could also taste a little flavour of paprika. It was amazing I highly recommend this place! Don’t let the bad reviews make you change your mind I was blown away

My partner and I had an impromptu lunch date here today. We ordered the pulled pork tacos, fish tacos, empanadas and baby octopus. They got the order wrong, instead of baby octopus, we were brought squid... but I'm so glad they got the order wrong, because it was hands down the best squid I've ever had, I could eat that every day. It was amazing! Friendly service and a nice location.

Amazing Tapas bar with authentic Spanish inspired meals. The portion size and prices are reasonable and you can order between 4 to 5 dishes for two people which should be sufficient for most. We had live music playing (website says that's a regular event for Saturdays) whilst we were there which was a nice touch (it wasn't too loud either) . The staff were attentive and friendly and The bar also contains a large selection of quality tequilas that are worth sampling. We would happily return for more.

We over heard owner saying to by other customer looking at the menu, if you don't like the food, you don't have to pay. Now there is a owner who is confident and proud of their food and we were glad we had dinner there. The stuff were very friendly brought water for our dog. Chorizo with red wine was delish. Paella for 1 serve was generous. The pulled pork taco was so tender. And yes you have to try homemade chilli. They are amazing. Will definitely come again.

Delicious food best paella in NSW, every time it's an amazing experience, staff really friendly terrific location at the Entrance. We had as main paella Paisa, paella del Rey and special request Chicken Paella as my friend is allergic to seafood, also tapas lamb cutlets perfectly cooked and seasoned 🤤, chorizo al vino, potatos and meat balls all the meals were so delicious reach flavour it worth the driving. We went from Sydney and our booking had passed over 45 min but The Chef was absolutely kind and accepted to serve us even it was 30 min before closing to prepare for dinner, we order another two paellas take away and The Chef asked how we were planning to heated up to cook it properly, When we had them hours later everything was cooked in PERFECTION moist tender and tasty 100% recommended. i couldn't take pics of the tapas because we smashed at once but next time for sure.

A great little place in a sleepy beach town. The food was tasty, though I’d stick with the non-seafood options. The clams were underwhelming and the octopus was tough (they’re hard to cook anyway). The potatoes were delicious though! The paella was good, but I wouldn’t travel there for it. Don’t expect fancy service, but some quick check-ins and some tossing of bowls onto your table. Enjoy the balcony with sunlight and the wonderful sea breeze. I did get a bottle of beer that had a pull date from last year (8 months ago), but at least it tasted fine.

Yum Yum Yum Food heaven Great service, good view, delicious food. We ordered more bread just to soak up all the beautiful sauces left over in the dishes. Highly recommend dishes - the mushrooms, shredded lamb tacos, crispy octopus and the Spanish chorizo with prawns. And extra bread. It was an unplanned find. We had not been to this restaurant before and just happened to find the restaurant walking past and decided to take a chance. Glad we did.

I visited this amazing Spanish Tapas restaurant this recent Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed their meals! The menu with itemised selection and individual prices so you can choose what you would like from the tapas menu. I ordered the skin on salmon with sweet potato salad and my fiancé ordered the lamb cutlets with mash potato as mains which was absolutely to die for! We chose the potato cubes and the amazing garlic cream and spinach mushrooms from the tapas menu; which I might add was the best mushrooms of my life! I highly recommend you will not be disappointed Amazing sangria! And beer to sip with the food and of course to finish it all of I also recommend the waffle with berries and red wine reduction which was as well cooked to perfection!! All up the dinner cost $120 which was exquisite I could not have asked for a better meal. In Spanish atmosphere with music, amazing dining and service topped it all off! I will definitely be returning with my friends and family and I highly recommend everyone in the area and also to visitors and tourists

I really enjoy dining at Mia Cantina because not only the food is great but also it has a great atmosphere! Another + at Mia Cantina is their open kitchen! When dining at night, its really fun being able to see the chef grill meat and the open flames 3 feet high!

Had a meal at Mi Cantina this week with my wife. We shared four Tapas dishes and they were excellent and enough food for the two of us. The Haloumi and Pumpkin tapas and the Chorizo in red wine sauce were our favourites. We finished of with a great waffle. Good food and the service was a little chaotic as it was a busy Friday night but we would recommend this place for a good feed and a relaxed vibe.

This food!!! We ordered the Paella De Chorizo y Santiaguiño. First time for me, incredible flavours and gorgeous presentation. Couldn't stop eating 💛 being a busy night the food was delayed but they were very understanding and gave us complimentary food & drinks in the meantime. What could have been a slow night, turned out to be an incredible experience. I haven't come across a place with such thoughtful hospitality in a long time. Highly recommend.

My girlfriends and I came to visit Mi Cantina on two occasions over one weekend and both times we were super impressed with the hospitality of the staff and the kindness of the owner! The location is fantastic, the food was beautiful and they have a delicious cocktail menu, 1000% would go back and highly recommend it to anyone staying in The Entrance.

We finally got organised and visited during opening hours. The tapas were hot and delicious, the mushrooms were amazing. Sangria could have been colder. They need to train their staff on the EFTPOS machine, I didn't have much cash and weren't able to tip what I think they deserved.

Nothing wrong with that, just for reference to other families. ie. The ice-cream waffles had a wine sauce etc. I should've checked the description 😝The sangria was average. The food was good. Not quiet sure about central coast standards but 2-hat restaurant prices, takeaway shop quality, not rediculously bad however nothing special for the price. Paid $200 for 3 people and not really full. Having 3-4 tables, kitchen extremely slow. Service was great considering 4 tables for 4 wait staff. On the positive note, this place has the highest reviews in the area, think about others....

The good - Paella, and potato tapas. The staff are friendly and venue is clean and easy to get to. Very accommodating place. The not so good - drinks were weak (sangria and strawberry daquery which was too sweet). We tried the tacos also but they were very soggy. Overall not a bad place, good for a casual feed especially if you have a craving for paella. The view is nice and it's easy to get to without much wait for seating either.

The food and drinks we sampled at Mi Cantina were fantastic and prices very reasonable for what you receive. What made our night though was our lovely waitress Rochelle. From the moment we walked in her service was personable, friendly and attentive. In a day and age where good customer service is rare, having someone go above and beyond should be rewarded. Do yourself a favour and check out Mi Cantina the very next opportunity you get. We will be back :)

My partner and I had tapas here. The food came out promptly and was pretty good. There wasn't much of an atmosphere though. It was a Friday night around 7pm and there was only approx. 8 customers there. The staff were friendly enough but appeared to be standing around looking very bored. My first impression of this place was that it might not be the best. But the food and service were pretty good, just a bit pricey.

Great seafood and wonderful service. This place can’t be beaten for friendly and welcoming service. The atmosphere is great. Beautiful Latin, Spanish and South American fare. Clams were so good. The prawns were fantastic and the barramundi and lobster to die for. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will come again.

We think that this is the best tapas between here and San Sebastian. Alright they are different tapas, but, while we loved the food in Spain, we enjoy the tapas here more as they are made fresh to order, the ingredients used are so fresh, there is not so much bread and they are so reasonable priced. The ambience is great, staff are always so friendly and helpful, and the chef is the best. If you anywhere near The Entrance don't miss eating here.

There wasn't many restaurants opened in the Entrance at night, though Mi Cantina was packed full of people and it looked very warm and inviting. Mi Cantina is a waterfront Spanish restaurant boasting with different types of gourmet tapas to choose from - with their friendly customer service and a cheeky chef, you are in for an amazing time! We ordered sangria, two tapas and a paella for dinner on our first night in The Entrance. The kitchen is situated in the middle of the restaurant so the aroma of great, authentic Spanish food travels throughout the entire restaurant at Mi Cantina. We were happily sitting there, soaking it all in when the "cheeky chef" happened to catch Christie's eye light up every time something else was cooked. Afterwards, we had a small chat with the owner who welcomed us to the Entrance and was even so kind as to telling us where the best restaurants were located. He was even so kind as to welcome us back, ensuring "flowing tequila" if we did... sadly we only had two nights :(
