K. O.Glad Michael's Chinese has finely re-opened since moving from Old Bar Taven.
Food very much the same thank god.
Hope they do well in this position which is proving a hit with their take-away.
Only thing they should change is there seating very congested and would need to book early for a table of 4 or 5.

M. G.It's just becoming common knowledge that Michael's Chinese Restaurant has re-located from the Tavern (now under new ownership) to their own premises opposite the Squash Courts on Old Bar Road in the ground floor of the three storey flats complex.
Went there today, all the old favourites - we had honey prawns and chicken curry and exactly the same great quality as the old place.
A. W.Yesterday I had garlic king prawns and beef in oyster sauce. The garlic king prawns was the best king prawns I had ever had and the beef in oyster sauce was AMAZING.Tthey have great service and lovely staff. Definitely recommend going there.

S. R.OMG sooo happy Thier back open. Just made phone order for takeaway which was a bit of a wait because there were Soo many people lined up for Thier orders. With out a doubt best Chinese around. Try stuffed chicken wings but anything on the menu would be amazing. Recommend to anyone. Yum yum yum😍

Service is pretty slow so if you are super hungry it might not be for you. We had the fried rice, sweet sour pork and chicken chow mein. We only liked the chicken chow mein. The fried rice was super dry and not much taste in it. The sweet sour pork was bit watery. Old school Australian Chinese
