Had a nice experience dining at Mountain Ridge over the Christmas period. A small low point: The restaurant was probably half full at the time, and service was slow and some drink orders never came. With that out of the way, the ambience was lovely and the wine, entrees and lunch were delicious. At other times of the year I have no doubt that service would be more prompt. The external restaurant and garden is beautifully kept - great for photos! Mountain Ridge is very much worth the visit.

Food was very good. Wines were excellent. I am an animal lover, but having two dogs begging for food and tapping us with their paws, or putting their heads on our laps trying to get fed didn't make for an enjoyable lunch experience, coupled with 4 staff who were too busy having conversations at the front desk to notice that we were waving at them, and having to get up and go to the counter to ask for service reduces score.

We came for a personalised wine tasting and had such a wonderful time. Liz was so friendly and accommodating. She shared her knowledge and catered the speed to us. We actually loved all the wines and the cheese and chocolate board that came with it was delicious! We left with 9 bottles between the two of us. And yes, the scenery is stunning - bonus :) Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back!

Four of us had lunch here today. The food was absolutely delicious. Their own 2019 Semillon wine is to die for. Bookings are a must! Very popular. We could have spent all afternoon just sitting, drinking, eating, chatting and enjoying the view .... the only problem was that we had to safely drive home!!! Thankyou for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. This little gem of a restaurant is a hidden treasure. Fantastic friendly staff and exceptionally fast service. The pizza menu sounds tantalising and... even offers dessert pizzas....ahhhhmazing! We ordered the Michaelangelo pizza and Chefs special consisting of perfectly portioned and delicious pork pieces, sweet potato & complimenting Italian flavours. The pizza's were mouthwatering, made with fresh ingredients and the crispy bases were perfectly perfected and delicious. Our dining experience offered incredible scenic views. With an elevated seating area overlooking the vineyard. There's a covered comfortable seating area with courtyard dining experience available, such a relaxing & family friendly atmosphere.

If pizza is high on your menu then Gezza's are a must try. Easily the Best pizza on the coast...(and we personally love and eat alot of pizza). Perfected crispy bases and scrumptious fresh toppings. The pizza menu is incredible and the pizza's were amazing. Friendly efficient service, stunning views in a relaxing clean setting. Beautifully Family (& pet...we saw dogs out with their families) dining experience offered. They even offer dessert Pizzas. 5/5 thamks Team Gezza.

Took myself away for the weekend to explore the Shoalhaven wine region. I rung ahead and booked myself in to a 10:30am wine tasting. I was the only person so it was nice to have a chat with Michelle about the wines etc. The view was stunning from all around. I didn't sample any food as I had eaten prior however the restaurant was busy and the staff were friendly. Ended up purchasing to Rose (and I am generally not a Rose drinker). Would certainly recommend visiting.

Nice wines and beautiful views, but the tasting experience was disappointing. We had a tasting booked and paid for for 3 people. Two of us white wine drinkers (one who is really not a fan of red) and the third a red wine drinker. We were told we could only choose five wines to taste and that the whole table had to have the same five, even though our tastes are very different. We had gone there truly wanting to taste wines to buy bottles, so asked if the red wine drinker could sit at a different table in order to try the reds, but we're told no. So we ended up not being able to taste the wines we all wanted to taste. This meant we didn't buy many bottles like we would have had we been able to try the wines we wanted - seems like a strange business decision, and something we have never encountered before at a winery. Next time we will all book a tasting seperately! We went on to the restaurant to have lunch. The view was lovely and our waitresses were all nice, but service was a little chaotic. Three of us had finished our mains before my mum and 2 year old's mains had come out. Food was OK but not amazing.

We had an amazing wine tasting session amongst an ongoing wedding celebration and quite a lovely crowd of people around. Both the whites and reds are amazing and surely something to take home and savour over time. They also have a nice wood fired pizza restaurant that operates fri and sat. Beautiful valley views too!!

Had a fabulous day. Great food and wine. We where a party of 4 and between us had a variety. Oysters, pork sliders and BBQsquid for entree. Then ssteak burger, salmon with risotto and pork belly with sticky lime dressing. All the best! Felt very safe and organised, great attentive service in these different times. My only comment would be that the table for 4 felt small. Will be back and would recommend.

Our first visit to celebrate a birthday and it didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and service was prompt. Friendly staff and they looked after us well. Indoor and outdoor seating; family oriented; ample parking. Keep an eye out for organic vegetables grown on the premises... bought vegetables instead of wine! Good deal!! Highly recommended.

Went for a Sunday lunch with family on 27/12 and all I can say is ‘exceptional’. Great location with views of the rolling hills in the hinterland, delicious food- the pork belly is a must! Staff on point & friendly. Highly recommend stopping over & indulging if you are ever in the South Coast!

Our first winery in Berry but the best winery and nicest experience I've had in any winery to date... We booked a lunch by mistake but had intended to book a tasteing and the team quickly were ok to pivot our booking and make it work (not an easy feet during covid). Liz was amazing and very knowledgeable and made it a really special couple of hours. I can't recommend enough. 5/5 PS. I never leave reviews but felt it was worth it!

Stopped in here for a spur if the moment tasting. We didn't have a booking, but they managed to accommodate our group of 5. I guess its a sign of Covid-19 times, but having to pay $5 a head for tasting still doesn't sit well with me. What was more disappointing was we could only select 5 wines plus a liqueur from the range, which meant we couldn't try only those varieties that we wanted, based on 5 different preferences. Added to that was the fact that it was taking between 10 and 15 minutes for each new wine to be brought out to us. Our quick tasting lasted almost 90 minutes from go to whoa. As for the wine, it was ok, but a little pricey. Once the sommelier tells you that their Shiraz matches perfectly with pizza, you kinda know what you're in for. Give it a go, but don't expect fast service or mind blowing vintages.

A lovely vineyard to have lunch, taste some delicious wines and indulge in dessert. The menu has some nice options and offers something for vegetarians and vegans. Outside has some nice scenery and views. Plenty of space for bigger gatherings.

Had a group of 5 with us. We headed to the winery for some lunch and wine tasting. The wines were quite delicious. We were able to choose a great selection of wines, with Mountain View very accommodating for us, allowing a sneaky extra try of a wine. I recommend the Moscato, it is very smooth and sweet and delicious. Goes down well! For lunch, I had the chargrilled steak burger. The steak was so tender to eat. I recommend doing lunch and wine tasting at the same time. Very pleasant experience. Also the winery dog they have is so cute! Obedient (on the day) haha, heard she can be very mischievous.

We did a wine tasting and had a lovely lunch at this charming winery. The staff was amiable and the food was tasty. However, the vineyard is located on another hill so you can't visit them directly at the winery. There are macadamia trees outside, and you even eat some fresh macadamia nuts which lay on the barrels. We enjoyed the food and wine on the terrace with a beautiful view.

We dropped in for some wine tasting and ended up staying for lunch. It soon became obvious that this place was very popular a number of brides to be hosting their Hens weekend. We were greeted at the door by a friendly staff member and our wine tasting experience was unrushed by a very helpful young gentleman. The lunch was tasty, my partner enjoying what she claimed was the best ppoached chicken salad she has ever had. I went for the fish and chips which I also found very satisfying. All in all a great experience and walking out with some nice wine to enjoy later.

Located on, you guessed it, a Mountain Ridge, just 8km from Berry. The winery has sweeping views of Coolangatta, Berry, Saddleback and Cambewarra Mountains. Head into the cellar door and you’ll find a bar to do tastings, a cafe and restaurant. But we recommend heading outdoors and having a wine after your tasting as the view is breathtaking! There’s also a elevated decking right out on the vines with some amazing art and we think they’ve done a great job architecturally in setting this place up. The wine tasting is enjoyable, and we undertake this in our group whilst seated outside. The cost for a group of 5 or more is $5 for a tasting fee. The place is super busy the day we are there, so you are recommended to book ahead. In the tasting, we walk through the wines from white to red with the Mountain Ridge semillon, Mountain Ridge Pinot Gris, Mountain Ridge Rose, Mountain Ridge Sparkling Chamborcin, and finish with a Mountain Ridge Tawny Port, perfect to pair with dessert. We personally also love their macadamia liqueur which we tried at a local restaurant. The host let us also try a watermelon liqueur slushee, all the rage at the moment, and seemed to be popular with people at the winery. This was my favourite! It’s an amazing place to visit if down in the south coast. We’ve already recommended this to plenty of people! It’s also kid and dog friendly!

Sitting outside at Mountain Ridge is lovely - there’s a stunning view and plenty of sun. We weren’t overly impressed by the wines but ended up settling on the Pinot Grigio to go with our cheese board.

Dessert for $ 14 a bit too expensive. May ordered cheesecake A in a cup he got some cheese mousse And on the bottom loose shredded biscuits .I ordered a mini Pavlova, including the strawberry inedible because it was rotten. For such prices, they should pay more attention to details.
