Over years, Steaks and sauces never seem to disappoint. Drinks taste as good as they appear on photos - elegant. Stuff is friendly and great at service. The only disappointment would be excluded little bread with a delish butter on a cosy wooden board (one big point of excitement & anticipation of going to OSH), that used to be served for free while waiting for meal. تෆ

I had the best dining experience at Outback Wentworthville tonight. The food was excellent, well cooked and fresh. The service was incredible. We had Maddy looking after us and she was just delightful. She was so friendly and took care of our boisterous table with ease. Everyone sung happy birthday to my dad and I think he had a great birthday thanks to the wonderful staff working there tonight. I can't thank you all enough ☺️

We had a lovely lunch today .. Baby slept right through while my husband and I ate. We were greeted and served by the wonderful Sharnie who took real good care of us accommodated our pram at a table where there wouldn't be much traffic for it to get in the way. She checked up on us and was really professional. We also had a lovely waiter Andrew who was also great. Our meals were delicious so we are very happy customers. Thank you and keep it up. The food was decent but they burnt my steak since I wanted it well done. Service was hectic since there was 2 servers managing the whole restaurant. It was Australia Day and to have only 2 servers handling all customers need an applause for them two. We waited almost 8 mins to ask someone to bring us a takeaway box and it was the lady that was collecting dishes from the next table. Overall, 3 out of 5 experience.

I've been meaning to leave this review for quiet sometime but have been a little bit busy, I went here for valentines day with my partner and we had the best service from a waitress called Leah who was so down to earth and despite how busy it was always had a smile on her face the whole time, she honestly was amazing! We've been here a couple of times now and the wait staff are awesome and the cocktails they serve are delicious!!

As always the service and food was amazing but this time our waitress Sharnie went above and beyond with her costumer service skills and helped us decide which delicious meals and sides to get. The place wasn’t as busy so she took some time to chat with me and my wife and honestly it’s just the small things, but that conversation really helped turn a ugly day upside down. Outback Steakhouse is a reliable favourite of the family. Good food done well every time we have been. I would class the place as being an "intimate" casual Steakhouse. By this I mean you can take the kids, or have a date night. The prices are decently mid-range, and the staff are friendly. I recommend the Sangria Trio with the Red Centre Saute. Only cautionary note would to maybe try not to dine in the middle of a bad downpour... the roof could do with an upgrade.

Perfectly cooked steaks to your desired temp, so tender and juicy, a joy on your tongue. Fantastic service and amazing food. Their blooming onion seems to have gotten smaller, however, the quality of their steaks are still marvelous! The loaded fries on the other hand is a MONSTROUS portion sizing and I'm glad we only got the entree size, taste wise average.

My first time. We didn't know they automatically season steaks, they fixed this oversight prior to serving.our steaks, they were cooked to perfection. The chili in blooming onion was a surprise as not listed on rhe menu. Customer service was polite and helped to sort our mains before being served.

I visited this place for the first time, the ambience looked so nice when entered. The staff was very polite and kind, they seated us in the area where there are other families. The staff gave my child color pencils to draw. We ordered steak, few other sides and all the items we ordered were perfectly cooked and we really enjoyed the dinner. I had one of the best steak. Great spot for a fulfilling dinner. Large servings. Good value for money. Pleasant staff members. Booth seating so you don’t have to see other people :) If ordering the sirloin share plate which comes out sizzling, order it less cooked than you would like as it continues to cook on the sizzling plate. Sadly I ordered medium and it was well done by the time I ate it.

This place gets quite busy during peak dinner time so be prepared. The wait is well worth it though as the steaks are well seasoned and tender enough to eat without any sauces which are typically used to disguise poor quality meats. The sides are typically good but can be hit and miss. The staff are very friendly but lately I feel like they interrupt dinner too often to ask us if we need anything (maybe it's what the American parent company considers good service) but I find it odd and distracting. The food is good enough for me to brave the crowds and overly enthusiastic staff and this is my favourite local steak house.

don't make them sit you near the kitchen at the back . don't wait a whole hour for your food. don't settle for really poor customer service. EDIT: I came back here today...a year after I made a 2 star review, which is written above. The food here is not that great, my companions did not enjoy their food either. The Blooming Onion is amazing btw ! Try it . We got served old stale chips but were given fresh ones after informing the waiter. The new chips tasted great. The vegetable side is okay. The milkshake is awesome. We got served cold water with cups with ice in them which was nice, but had to ask twice before they finally gave us the water. The atmosphere and seating is very nice here. The waiters are very nice and friendly but I think it gets so busy that they cannot keep up and it leads to a very poor dining experience. I might try ordering different dishes next time and maybe have a different opinion.

Great food and excellent service. We ordered the classic wings, a couple of cob salads, Alice Springs chicken, superbowl salad, chargrilled chicken and the Big Bugga. Everyone loved their meals. Bottomless drinks. Dined at 2pm on a Sunday. Everything was absolutely amazing!

With the occasion being my mothers birthday and with only a small party of three, booking was fast and simple through the OpenTable app. Once arrived at the restaurant we were greeted in a very positive manner. All my mothers concerns with the current COVID19 climate were put to rest with the professionalism of the staff. The food was fantastic. My fathers salmon was cooked perfectly and my mother washed down her delicious mixed ribs with not one, but two Wallaby Darned drinks.. Service throughout the night was catered by 2 very special employees, Hayley and Tom. These two resonated both positivity and enthusiasm. Their energy was infectious and really played a pivotal role in making my mothers birthday special. Hayley mentioned because of the occasion there would be a complementary dessert. Both Hayley and Tom walked out singing happy birthday making my mothers birthday that little bit extra special. The look on my mothers face for me was priceless and really emphasised the I had made the correct choice to take her for dinner. I really hope that Hayley and Tom receive the right recognition for their amazing service. I can’t thank them enough for making my mothers birthday that little bit extra special.

I find that coming to this outback steakhouse is always a bit hit and miss. This is the second time we have ordered the share platter entree and both times we ordered it withour cheese on cheesey fries and both times it came with cheese. For main we had the rib and steak combo. The steak was a really nice cut of meat but a bit rarer than we ordered. The ribs were a very poor cut of meat with very little meat on the bones and lots of gristle bits.

Had food delivered due to covid, and I was shocked with how good the food still was. I have been in house before the pandemic so I knew the food was going to be amazing but the fact the chips, and meat was still super crispy despite the delivery time really had me taken aback. I rarely write reviews but last night's meal deserves at least adequate feedback. Outback really outdoes itself, your pork ribs and crispy chicken sandwich are to die for. Delicious ribeye 285g steak with mushroom sauce. Asked for medium rare but it was more rare than medium rare. Brushies was great aswell but its not much of an entree if the main came out first.. Staff was friendly. Not much of a wait during lunch time. Entree + mains with drinks for two can cost approx $100.

Great ribs and free refills on drinks, it's a shame that the amount and quality of chips has been reduced over the years, the price is high but worth a trip once a year. I went here three times in a month and got very different service each time, the second time the ribs were very tough and almost impossible to eat half of the rack as the was bones running through the middle, I couldn't even cut it. The most recent time we wanted to get refills and the server disappeared for almost 30 minutes.

Potato soup is our go to and the steaks come out generally well. The staff her have always been fantastic. Special mention to James and Divina. Restaurant on the way back from covid restrictions. Recommend to order everything you need when you have their attention as you may not be able yo get their attention again. Food was excellent. Staff. The only down side which is why 4 stars. Friendly as the staff is there is not enough to deal with the Saturday night crowd. This is not the staff fault but Restaurant having too few staff to deal with the number of patrons. This is not just at this outback steak house rather across the hospitality industry as a whole.

Staff are friendly and welcoming but the food is always a bit hit and miss. For example steak sandwich had so much gristle that it needed to be pulled out of the sandwich and cut up so it could be eaten and the steak was lukewarm. Unfortunately food isn't consistent so something thats great one visit isn't the next. I've now had a few occasions where meals come out and one meal is hot and the other is lukewarm. Also the entrance is not very accessible with its multiple steps/stairs to get in.

Recenlty moved to the area and decided to give them a go and i must say they did not disappoint. My partner and I ordered the beef ribs and they where so tender and soft, the bbq glaze was awesome, also ordered the shareable sirloin, was cooked to perfection, and served on this sizzling hot plate that created an amazing atmosphere, our waiter Tom was so attentive and provided a awesome service making sure we where happy with our food. Had another amazing dinner at Wentworthville Outback Steakhouse. I was craving steak and was not dissapointed. :) I had the ribeye which came with two sides. One huge side salad (it was the size of an entre) and some mash. The steak was seasoned perfectly and was exactly what I needed. The staff were also wonderful! Coming to check in with us through out the meal and chatting with us about the menu, answering all our questions. We ordered through an app so splitting the bill was easy and we didn't have to wave anyone down at the end of the night for a check. I loved that you could choose to order in person or over the app depending on preference :) Thanks so much for a wonderful night :) We will definitely be back again!

Arrived into accommodation at Westmead for a full day of hospital 'stuff', have never been this way before. We decided after an internet search to have dinner at the Outback. After seeing some reviews online about this place, I decided to take my family here for lunch. I have been to a number of steakhouses, this one being the first time at this location. The minute we stepped into Outback Steakhouse Wentworthville, it was nothing but a phenomenal experience. The service was friendly and genuine...Claudio was always at hand and made sure our dining experience was pleasant. Lisa the manager was really professional and kept our 2 children busy with colouring stencils while waiting for the meals (very short wait). The food was great. Steak was cooked exactly how I wanted. My wife got the grilled chicken which she loved and my mum got the grilled salmon - she said it was cooked perfectly. The kids had battered fish and chips and very little of that was left on the plate. Somehow the youngest managed to fit dessert. The Chocolate Thunder was amazing. I could only try a bite as I was way too full. You definitely won't walk out of here hungry. Prices were slightly high in comparison to other restaurants, but you definitely get what you pay for. Lisa and this team has certainly set the bar high. Quality of food and service is to be highly commended. If you want a great meal and service to match, you will certainly get that here.

Outback is coping pretty well with the curr nt situation from a customer dining in perspective. I have had problems previously where understaffing led to poor customer service. With a socially distanced dining room, Outback was outstanding. One tiny complaint. The hand sanitiser at the front desk was empty. I should have had my own with me, but theirs should be loaded and ready to go. Food was great, in fact better than normal! Perhaps the kitchen is flourishing with the reduced pressure of a smaller dine in sitting?

Last night my husband and I had dinner at your establishment and was greeted by a lovely host and was immediately sat at a table. Our server, Kirsten was extremely helpful and very polite- very easy to chat to and made our dining experience enjoyable, she should defiantly be congratulated on amazing service!. However, I and my partner both ordered a roaring forties steak which was quite fatty, we told the server and she immediately apologised and went right onto fixing our issue. We ordered a chocolate thunder for dessert and it was absolutely delicious! the ice cream was to die for. As well as this, we both ordered a strawberry peach sangria which was expertly made! (we asked who the bartender for the night was and we were told his name was Tyler, amazing drinks!) When it was time to pay, we were again greeted by the lovely host of the night, who told us her name was Isabelle when we asked. Isabelle was very polite and welcoming towards us the whole night and was very efficient when taking our payment (even let us know that with all card payments, there is a 1% surcharge, which most people don't care to mention!) She made sure to have a small conversation with us at the end of the night, asking if we enjoyed our meal and was very attentive to us. Will definitely be coming back next Wednesday, especially if both Kirsten and Isabelle are on! Lovely employees!

Came here a few weeks ago and everything was perfect from start to finish! Jo, our server was gorgeous, polite and very professional, she knew how to make us feel comfortable and kept up a conversation which made the wait feel very short. It's nice to see Outback hiring pretty, trendy youngsters instead of illiterate people. The food was amazing, perfectly cooked and I especially loved the blooming onion. I was quite excited to come here to try the steaks. We ordered the popcorn prawns and the onion blossom (deep fried onion, with shipping sauce). Nothing special really, just tasted like crispy prawns with a chili mayonnaise. And the onion tasted quite oily and i nearly did have most of it . My steak came with chips and veggies. The steak i found didn't have that charcoal flavour i was looking for, the veggies over cooked. The chips are chips how wrong could you go. Although the meals were mediocre, the service was fantastic. We were served by Rina who was very accommodating and have no complaints there. Not my choice for a great steak.

My Fiance and I normally love to come here on a semi regular basis. Our first experience back since the covid-19 situation was pleasant but sub-par for the prices charged. The starters and sides were the main problem. I ordered a ceasar salad that cost $7.95 and what I got shouldve cost around $1.95. A lot of chopped up cos lettuce with dressing, parmesan and a few croutons. We also ordered garlic bread which was barely warm and not toasted. Had no crunch at all. 4 slices of bread for $7.95, wouldve been fine if toasted atleast. We ordered the chicken wings for the starter and we got 7. I know that there used to be 10 served as we would usually have 5 each and be happy. We paid $16.95 for 7 small wings. While the portion was disappointing, they were delicious and obviously freshly cooked on delivery. I got pork ribs for dinner and my fiance a steak. We could not fault these, absolutely delicious. In summary, great food for the most part, but be prepared to pay a moderate price, for small portions. Service has always been and still is great, in our experience.

The staff were so so lovely! The only downside is that they were incredibly understaffed. The bar was completely full, and only one man working on serving staff and the other doing table orders. We came as a group, and the orders were not given correctly. We were missing many parts of our orders, including sauces, entries and sides. We had to wait 15 minutes for the mash potato to come out, which was a shame because it ruined the overall dish itself. Other than that, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were quite lovely, despite how stressed and busy them seemed, they didn’t show it at all!

Steaks are a bit pricey and honestly not AAA quality in both meat tenderness and preparation. It is not uncommon for steak ordered medium to arrive at your table medium-well or even close to well done. Other than that, it is a nice Friday evening choice if you want to go out and every other steakhouse is too far away from you. The staff are nice and friendly, but tend to kinda forget you exist for like 30min after your ordered meals are served. Moreover, staff does not seem interested in maintaining good ambience - they kept on completely ignoring drunk customers seated behind us, who were making a lot of noise with random outbursts of hysterical laugh high-pitched laugh. I do understand they may want to cater to every customer, but allowing 3 of them to ruin the joy of eating something nice to everyone around them is hardly justified.

I found this place to be very a young clubby atmosphere on a Saturday night. Lively to the point of being rowdy at times. This is rustic meaty dining , no need to watch your P's & Q's , you'll be to busy wiping sauces off your chin. You are allowed to eat your entree at the bar while you wait to be seated. I liked the dim lighting and the huge steak knives. The staff a very young and very busy so some patience is needed. I wasn't enamoured with the prices however.

I would love to be able to write a really positive review of this restaurant because we keep going back, but I constantly find that the food is just boring and some of the staff just have no idea. It can be really hit and miss because some of the staff are just excellent and others don’t know what they are doing. From the outside looking in I can’t help but feel there is a high turnover rate of staff and a high percentage of low hour contracts. I generally leave feeling ill but the kids love it and it’s a great looking restaurant.

Rare (raw) steak Me and my family have been here twice so far, our first visit was amazing great food with friendly attentive staff but today was not so similar. Ordered three steaks, all three were ordered as medium, but two were cooked well done and the rib eye on the bone was cooked rare and the meat around the bone was still raw. We complained to our waitress and she kindly offered to put it back on the grill and after she returned with the steak it was still rare - raw. Fortunately she provided us with free dessert to compensate but I think it is unacceptable for a "steakhouse" to fail to cook three steaks to the customers desired taste, especially for the prices. I hope this was a one off thing due to the chef.

The waitress suggested the onion rings as an entré and we also had garden salad with vinegar dressing. The food was amazing, the onion rings were perfectly done. The sauce for the onion rings was painfully salty, it went very well with the onions but by itself you would choke on the salt. The garden salad was by far one of the best salads I had. I strongly recommend this place. Its suitable for family, larg or small groups of friends, dinner or lunch dates :)

We are currently staying down at westmead at the children's hospital/ Ronald McDonald house When my husband said let's try you guys and I have to say the 3 times we have been there have been absolutely delicious, My son who is currently going through treatment loves the Mac and cheese and the hot chocolate. I love the cob salad everytime we've been my daughter and youngest son have had both the Mac and cheese and the chicken tenders. And my husband love the steak he gets and the pepper sauce. This is by far the best mid fare steak house in sydney. Offlate seen a drift in the quality of the salads,mash and the wait staff seems to be not focused much on the orders placed especially when with large groups.. needs to be more attentive to the customers who spend couple of 100 dollars.. have been wrongly billed in my last visit where 2 of the drinks which we never took was added onto our bill.

Update: Dropped 1 Star. Looks like they changed their menu recently. Unfortunately, flavour took a turn lower & no more Prime Ribs, nor the special sweet glazing on many of the steaks. Hv tried the aforementioned Prime Rib, Rib on bone, T Bone, Sirloins, Strip Sirloins in the past. Def a change... Comment: Just read the response & realized I had rated b4 reading d response! Apologies as U were aiming 2 raise d 4*! Happy 2 raise bak2 a 4* if Prime Ribs wz brought back nx time. Sweet Potato still awesome. Point app system is def a plus but did the franchise change its beef supplier or only this branch? They also did not bring around the soft sweet bread loaves anymore!

Went with a small group for a work Xmas lunch. Food is quite average but service was good. Crumbed mushrooms were tastless, chicken wings were tasty though. I had the Barramundi main which tasted like frozen basa - watery and over-cooked. Skin was not crispy. Served with loads of chips. Steamed veg was boring. Had the Apple Pie which was disgustingly sweet lathered in some caramel sweet sauce. Pie was mostly thick pastry - not much apple and 1 scoop ice-cream. If you lke your food deep friend, bland and mass produced go to Outback.

The lamb ribs where great however, their side "ceasar salad was questionable" it only had stale dry lettuce, 4 croutons and speckles of parmesan cheese...no egg no bacon. No olive oil...no dressing...no edible. I think they need to revisit their recipe for that. Having said this the customer service was really good they offered and replaced the side salad with something else.

This steakhouse is like a haunted house, you enter scared, unsure, but drawn in by some unknown force. I’m not sure if it was the overly enthusiastic clerk or the theme of ‘Top Gun’, but I decided to give it a go. From the moment you enter, the restaurant really delivers on its promise, depriving your thirst for a true outback experience. It does provide a nice playlist from the 1980’s to entertain you, however this enthusiasm quickly fades, as you realise the food has been frozen and re-cooked from the same era, with a bipolar steak, half rare, half medium, half seasoned and half not. They might have frozen the entire cow in fact, as the Bearnaise sauce similarly tasted like it was freshly drained from a withering, dusty teat. I’m not sure if it was coincidence or fate, but Micheal Jackson’s ‘Bad’ played as I ate. Outback Steakhouse Wentworthville is an extremely average experience, providing quickly cooked food, in an attempt to satisfy your hunger, but not tastebuds. As the music slowed, and a funeral tone began, I’m not sure if the spirits of outback were telling me to leave, or that after eating I didn’t have much time left. If you find yourself stranded in the outback with no other option, stop by for a pretty standard meal.
