Worth the wait!!! I have only ever had take away but the staff are super friendly and the pizzas are always delicious. They are very popular so plan in advance if you wish to order because wait times can sometimes be over an hour.

Such a great place with very good pizzas (mushroom & kale). The tiramisu is incredible and huge !!!! Nice atmosphere (music a little too loud). Do not forget to book in advance and a very nice terrace in summer. This is the place to be with friends or as a couple.

Excellent combination of great quality food and chill atmosphere . Food is almost classic Italian but with a twist. Tasteful interior and ambience. Just the right selection of music at a volume that doesn’t interrupt your conversation. Extra point for Vivian Maier photography on the wall. You can’t go wrong with this place.

OMG, what was this food!!! The goat cheese tortellini and the mushroom/kale pizza were unbelievably amazing!!!!! Staff were nice as well. I didn’t like the tiramisu, but the food was so so so so good that it still 5 stars for me!!

We had been dying to get back to Pocket Pizza since the moment lockdowns allowed us to dine in. We kept missing out because it is just so popular. Finally we got a booking on a Monday night and the place was a vibrant and lively as if it were a Friday, bubbling with laughter and conversation and packed! Despite the number of people the service was as attentive and friendly as ever and the food is just great. The bar is small as is the beer selection, but it's enough of a choice and the have Moretti, so why would you need a choice anyway?! We love it. Everyone loves it. Go, just go and relax and enjoy! Delicious pizza and a great range of dishes designed to share too. The gluten free base was nice and crispy while still being easy to eat, and held up well to the cheese and salad toppings of the ‘garden hoe’ pizza. Awesome flavours. This place is going for the edgy, too cool for school, kind of vibe, which definitely makes for a good experience, but the pepperoni pizza I got was ok, not amazing. The base was delicious, but the pepperoni was, break your teeth chewy, and there was hardly any cheese on it.

I still think it's the best pizza in Manly, but it gets crazy busy and ordering online is a real pain Why you can't order from them before it opens, or over the phone is beyond me. I always walk away a little bit angry, but I always know I'm going to enjoy the food. That all being said, I still highly recommend the kale pizza.

Me and 3 other people were happy with the service and friendly hospitality especially a lady (don't know her name) but we went to restaurant on 6 june 2021 at 6pm - we sat outside near the door. She's very nice and the pizzas we had were tasty! Tiramisu was gigantic, so we reordered another Tiramisu at the time! We definitely had a good time there!

Unfortunately geared towards sharing your meals as the prices for pizzas suggest. Not sure why dining vouchers aren't accepted. Pasta sources are great but prices in general are quite high. Pity BYO isn't accepted, it would certainly go a long way to paying the bill. In comparison to other cafes/restaurants throughout Sydney who are also licensed and acknowledged for their menu, it's nice to see them supporting the individuals in the community in their acceptance of dining vouchers in these trying times. Wouldn't suggest Pocket Pizza is comparable to Dominos though.

Such a beautiful little restaurant, very warm and inviting! We ordered from the set menu for 6 people. It was so easy and so much food. The food just kept coming! Hands down the best pizza in Sydney. I live an hour away but trek it in regularly. Worth the trip every time. Me and my friend were walking by around 5:10 and decided order some takeaway to have at home. After paying we found out it would take then one hour to prepare the pizzas. So we decided to wait, it was a windy night and my friend who is in a wheelchair was feeling very cold so I asked if we could wait inside but because of covid restrictions none of the 4or 5 available tables could be used although people would be coming and going inside all the time. I found it be a bit reckless and feel very dissatisfied with the service. I feel like they were always very good but may be turning to be cocky. The owner came out to talk to me about my review asking for me to consider the Covid restrictions and stating that my review wasn’t fare given that I wasn’t dining in. I have decided to add one star after all she came to talk to me and apologise.

This place is amazing and pretty much always serve great pizzas however last night I got a delivery and not only was the kale moist and not crispy but the pizza was way too moist and oily so we couldn’t even pick a slice up without all the toppings collapsing. But lets talk about my favourite the Polenta chips are excellent, the pasta with vodka is extremely delicious and tasty, I cannot leave out the best pizza on the menu fungi town with truffle oil! This place has a lot to offer good selection of italian organic wine, their cocktail comes in a tin of san pellegrino and they look so fancy and cool never seen anything like it, they also have other amazing twist of expresso martini and selection of spirits. Service is excellent and fast there is a lot of effort and personality in this place from the owner. If i could i would have rate more then 5 stars.

Pocket Pizza was one of our favorite meals during our trip to Sydney. They're open for dinner every day from 5 to 10pm. I highly recommend the Fungitown pizza, even for those who don't love mushrooms. The dough was cooked just right (very slightly chewy but with substance), and the crispy kale chips on top of the pizza were a perfect complement to the mushrooms, tomato sauce, and cheese. The chicken bites were also a nice add-on, but the highlight for us was definitely the pizza. It is a bit more expensive than some other pizza spots (around $20-25), but it is enough for 1-2 people (6 slices) and totally worth the price. You won't regret it!

Plus the pizzas are smaller. Good ingredients (and vegan etc) cost extra, so I'm happy to pay more, but $61 for two medium-ish sized pizzas is outside of our pay grade. Shame.

This might be the best kept secret in all of Sydney. The pizza is phenomenal and my personal favorite is the Three Pigs. The chili oil that they put on it is beyond good. The Fungi Town is the most popular and fits right in with the the Manly regulars. You can guess that this pizza is a portobello mushroom and kale masterpiece. Insider's tip: They have the best fried chicken sandwich in the world with just the right amount of spicy, cheesy perfection. Only available for lunch though.

Pizzas are some of the best I've ever tasted! Love the margarita one, the fresh mozzarella on top is so fresh and delicious. All the salads are incredible too! The tomato, mint, farro & radicchio salad is bursting with flavour and the Green salad with salsa verde is addictively good! It's also BYO which is an added bonus. Music is chilled and bluesy and the atmosphere is very NYC little Italy. This will definitely become a regular place for lunch and dinner!

I've always thought that it would be virtually impossible to rate a dining experience 5/5; generally there's always that little "something" that keeps it from being out of this world... Not this place! Wow. I literally cannot fault it. Everything is do fantastic and I can't even find words to describe how great the food is. Simple food done so, so right!! Long time customers, really committed to this crispy kale situation, but first time reviewers. Here we go; Deliveroo speedily delivered us a pizza, sadly the wrong one. However (handsome sounding) Pizza Pocket man confirmed it was very delicious but meaty, we confirmed this with our cat (we are vegetarian), despite his advice not to feed to the cat. The dog also enjoyed it.
