Nice little pasta place in the mall food court. Genuine taste, avg price, stingy small portions ($17 prawn pasta had only 3 pieces of prawns). No chicken dish only beef / pork / seafood. Charges $5pp for table service, better to take away and sit in common food court area.

I just have two reasons or maybe three to give a five-star to this restaurant. Actually my food ( a pasta based on Pork and meat mixed) is so good, but my first reason is that a very young person, who works as a bartender now ( it’s actually the second of December at 1:45pm), he is very nice person and he helped me a lot to find a good drink there and find a very delicious food Among many foods there). I really enjoyed the environment and the helpful conversation that I had with that person (bartender maybe). Thank you for giving me a very good time . I’m here now and I enjoying Eating my Italian Food. red wine and (A mixed of PorkAnd minced meet here) . I think his name was Fabio .Anyway, I appreciate your kindness. Good job. GOD bless you ALL

Love this place for a quick bite when in the city. Situated in Pitt St Mall/food court in a separated area. Great menu, pasta a specialty very good wine list with Italian wines to choose as well. Excellent service. Colino1861 highly recommended ✅💯

Ragu Pasta and Wine Bar is in the food court at Westfield and you can stop here for a break whilst shopping and easily order food to go, with pre made salads and paninis in the window to inspire your choice. They do also have seats at the bar, and dining in tables (black and white furniture and tiled mosaic tables) where one doesn’t feel at all like they’re in the food court, rather a restaurant, a world away from the crowds. We begin with drinks and being a Sunday afternoon, order the favourite, an Aperol spritz which goes down nicely with our entrees. Italian food is what is on offer here including antipasto, insalate, pasta, secondi and panini. We order the antipasto platter which was a huge plate of an assortment of deli meats, olives, cheese, crackers, breadsticks, marinated vegetables, salt and pepper squid and melted cheese balls, that pulled apart so cheesy. We decided to share food on this occasion, and from the secondi menu we ordered the pan fried sirloin and vegetables, some crispy potatoes and a salad of our choice - there’s so many to choose from and we go for the quinoa with roasted veg (beetroot, kale, baby carrots and feta) and we really enjoyed this salad. The pasta here is great as you can select from a variety of different fresh pastas, and then add your sauce of choice. We choose the fettuccini with tomato sauce and prawns. The food here was great and certainly a large serving, so we were really full! The service was extremely fast and the wait staff were friendly and helpful.

I got my food to take away. It had a slightly longer wait time than anticipated but the quality of the Parpadelle Ragu was definitely worth the wait. The staff also presented well and were well mannered.

Didn’t know any places in the area and than my friends and I found Ragu Pasta and Wine Bar. The food was incredible that we demolished the plates, staff were super fast and friendly. We waited a bit to get seated but there pasta made up for it. My friends and I will be coming back for sure, whenever we are in the area !!

4.3 - Delicious! The texture of the hand-made pasta was amazing! The sauce need a deeper flavour though and a sprinkle more parmesan cheese. I loved the sides - I had the Evergreen Salad, which balanced the meal perfectly. The amount of pasta and salad was perfect. I have a suggestion for the menu - it has no prices and people don't understand all the combinations of pasta and sauces on the overhead board as it is mostly Italian. I watched a lot of people looking puzzled but wanting to order. A simple improvement would be to put the price next to the menu for "Pasta and Drink Combo" and "Pasta, Side and Drink Combo etc." It was a really good value meal.

Have a wonderful experience dining here. Although this place is in the Westfield foodcourt the classic Italian dishes and pasta are done well and they have their own area where u can dine and they have a great selection of quick over the counter food if you work around the area for quick lunch or freshly made go order pasta with authentic taste. I was originally reticent about having a 3 course, sit down meal in the middle of Westfields - even as swanky as that food court is in level 5 - however I was honestly surprised and delighted! Our waitress was super charming, and ready with a joke in the way that you expect from establishments in Italy. I had the softest Porchetta with creamy mash potatoes. Friends of mine had a tomato broth with John Dory and prawns that was really delicately spiced. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because their Tiramisu, while perfectly tasty, was not made with zabaglione, that silky egg and Marsala custard which makes the dessert!

My boyfriend and I loved the food here! everything was so delicious. The service was also amazing , the staff is so friendly and helpful. They are very patient here I have to say, we saw them dealing with two psycho rude blond girls; OMG I've never worked in hospitality and never will. ;-)

I've been to Ragu a number of times, and always had a great experience. It's a great great place to stop when out shopping. It's in the Westfield food court, but doesn't feel like it, feels more like a restaurant, with proper table service. I've found the wait staff knowledgeable and friendly, and have no complaints about the food, which today was excellent, as was the wine we washed down with. Tirimusu was also excellent. Will be back!

We dined here on a Fri night and it was quite relaxing. We were well looked after by a young guy who was friendly, chatty and enjoyed a good banter with our group. The meals were tasty (ordered squid ink risotto, beef tagliata & John Dory) and these were all well-priced (and for an extra few dollars we upsized a risotto). Good selection of beverages.

Used to be a regular customer when worked in the city. Finally had a chance to comeback today. What a disappointment in a customer service and it came from the manager herself. Not only missed welcoming customers with a smile, but also completely refused to be helpful with an order just because it went in a different scenario than usual. Hope it is only one of cases, will be sad to see such a change in one of the most enjoyable and delicious places of Westfield on Pitt.

I went there last Saturday, very good experience, food was very good and tasty. Staff was very helpful and kind, the girl who took my order with a South American accent was really helpful. Then when I received my order the other girl was so kind, always smiling (even when she was doing many things at the same time) those little things always make customers back come. Delicious quality home made pasta in their own little space within the Sydney Westfield food court. Service was friendly but lacked enough staff during peak hour lunch period so it was hard to get their attention at times.

Excellent service from barista and person in charge on 12th February 2020. At first I ordered a normal hot chocolate for my friend, later on I realise she’s lactose intolerant so I went back to ask if they can make a new cup with soy instead. Without hesitation, the guy, I think his name is David. After he listen to my situation, he said “Sure, I’ll make you a new one” without charging me a new cup. I cant believe he would go out the way to keep his customer satisfied. I would recommend everyone to dine here 👍🏻

The combo price advertised is not what they charge you. Pasta+side+beer or wine $8 however when you order the price comes to $24. Confusion to the max. If it's a combo it should be one advertised price. No other prices were mentioned on the form. It had to be explained. Advised venue not acceptable

I enjoyed a very nice lasagne here. There is limited seating but lots in the surrounding food court. It is licensed to serve alcohol. They are a bit expensive but similar compared to other food places nearby. Service is average and you may need to wait 10 minutes for food preparation.

Prosciutto n mozza 2.5/5; bread prosciutto bocconcini rocket salad, i have never been a fan of curd-ish soft cheeses such as bocconcini feta cottage mozzarella. Fans of them will like this i suppose. Crostino rustico 3/5; prosciutto provolone cheese cream mushroom wood fired bread, the combo worked quite well w the buttery melted provo complementing the mushroom n prosciutto. A good starter to whet your appetite. Rigatoni w ragu sauce 3/5, i was skeptical that this would fill me up when i saw the small bowl it was served in. But i was struggling a little past midway. The sauce could have been more flavourful, nothing a sprinkle of (provided) parmesan wouldnt solve. Still i cant help but feel there is something missing in the sauce. Perhaps a lack of depth, a lack of aromatic herbs. Also i had trouble finding the much needed crunch of celery n carrots. The pasta was cooked perfectly though.
