The focaccia pizza, my first time trying this here in Sydney and it was fantastic. The cheese was so nice and light and the dough with it too. Service below average, could be better. I would go back for the focaccia!

Great location and staff. Delicious thin crust pizza but sadly the menu is scanned onto a QR Code and too hard to read so we ended up skipping desert. Bring back the good ol’ days when a menu was flourished and specials temptingly described.

The pizzas at ReccoLab are amazing. Absolutely love this joint, the service is great and they have cosy outdoor seating that’s perfect for a lunchtime feast. The highlight for us was the Burrata pizza, which was unlike any other pizza we’ve had. It had a light and crispy focaccia base, super refreshing and tasty - highly recommended!

Took my girlfriend here for a late night dinner and with 40 minutes left before they closed we were still able to have a great meal! We chose ReccoLab because they have very good gluten free options, not just GF pizza base but also GF pasta! It was delicious and would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is classy and nice, great vibe and ambiance as well! Perfect place for a nice romantic date. Great wine menu. We will be back.

Love this place for breakfast! Freshly baked goodies every morning 😍 Love their menu. It’s easy to follow and everything is yumo. I had the ricotta pancakes. So filling and delicious. Not overly sweet, which is good :)

Food is really good , but expresso is the best what I have in Sydney . The taste is just like what I have in Roma and there few thing I want to share with you : 1: Pizza is so fresh and nice , they are making pizza just in fount of you . They could serve pizza just 7-10 mins after you order it .... which is really impressive. 2: sandwiches is tasty and fresh as well . 3: Expresso is the best in Sydney . 4: They do have disable ramp and wide foot path , it's allow baby stroller or wheelchair to go through easily. 5: Unisex toilet _ huge disable restroom. 6: NO PARENTS ROOM HERE ... it's kind of bad , you don't have facilities to change nappies here.

3 words...... Yum, Yum & Yum. Tried ReccoLab for the first time with the fam. My boys loved it from the start as they got to see the chefs do their magic. My Negroni was spot on, the pizza was amazing with the base so delicious that my boys even ate the crust (so rare). The seafood risotto was brilliant so creamy and still had a small bite to the rice.

Just had a beautiful breakfast of ricotta hotcakes!!! Delicious!!! Their pizza is also the best in Balmain and so traditionally Italian - the pizza oven is next to the dining so it is lovely to see them being baked. Beautiful decor and great service.

Good coffee spot if you’re looking for the only thing open after dinner, I wouldn’t bother to go in the day time though. We got there as a group of four around 8pm, atmosphere was nice, but staff did not seem too accommodating or welcoming. Ordering the food was a bit tedious, we got ignored by the main server, had to wait at the table and then check if they’re still coming, we wanted to check something for allergies purposes, tried to be as polite as possible but they were not very accommodating to questions or requests either. The margarita pizza was delicious, the other cheese and garlic pizza was very dry. Coffee was good. Prices are reasonable.

The food is amazingly delicious 😋 the taste is exactly like what I has in Italy. Very fresh pizzas. Quick orders.. Short wait. I loved my piccolo.. There are very few places where you get a perfect piccolo and this is one of those cafes /restaurants. Wheelchair accessible entrance and unisex 🚻 toilets are there. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The restaurant is normally closed on Mondays. Other days opens at 7 am and closes at 10 pm. Very convenient location. It's the best Italian cuisine I have ever tried in Sydney. Highly recommended.

If you want a true Italian experience, then this is the place to go. Wait staff all Italian and food authentic. (I’m Italian and should know) I was visiting from Melbourne and I must say I was very impressed. There’s a casual Pizza area and a separate dining area to cater for whatever mood you’re in. You must try the gnocchi... freshly made by the chef and very delicious. Cannot recommend more highly. I found the service very attentive. I think if you smile, you always get great service. My mother has always told me treat wait staff with respect because it shows that you are a good person too. When I go on dates, that’s one thing I notice of my date... how he’s treating the wait staff. Overall...Bellissimo!

The Real Thing! I lived in Santa Margherita (8km from Recco) most my life. Focaccia al formaggio from Recco is a very famous regional dish. I can confirm the food is authentic (had the typical focaccia al formaggio and pizzata) even met the owner and chef who is a Recco local. This place is a rare gem offering authentic regional Italian food (not your generic Italian dishes pasta carbonara etc) outside of Italy. 5 stars

Recommended by a guy from Napoli, I met who is studying in Sydney, recently. We try Pizza, at places all over Sydney........ and this guy was spot on! We had 3 different pizzas all excellent. Generous and tasty combination toppings and we all loved their traditional wood-fired pizza bases. Not too doughy, just perfect. Thin, where needed and then crunchy and fluffy at the rim. Marco, our waiter, was so friendly and attendant. About $23 av per pizza, which is pretty good. Only wish it was BYO and that they review their background music. Even a bit of Dean, or Frank or even Peggy would have added more atmosphere, than the stuff they were playing.

Absolutely fantastic establishment, the staff were super friendly and attentive. The restaurant/bar layout was done very tastefully and the seating was comfortable. However, more importantly the food was exquisite, I love Italian food and especially pizza and I have to say, the pizza from this place blew my mind. The pasta dishes we had also hit the spot, I found the synergy of flavours was absolutely on point across the range of dishes I had. ReccoLab definitely understands the genius of simplicity and has set the bar very high for me, I'm afraid it will be hard to beat.

One of the best pizza restaurant in Sydney! I absolutely loved the food but a little disappointed with their customer service. The two wait staff (one male and female) were quite impolite and inconsiderate. After few seconds me and my friends sat down, the female wait staff approached us with the menu and asked if want anything.We asked for 'free water' meaning 'tap water/ table water'. She instantly frowned. Which was quite rude! A minute later a male staff approached for drinks. We told him we will have a look in the menu and decide. Not even a minute later he came back to the table and bugged about drinks. I politely told him "sorry we aren't ready yet". After a minute he came back and asked to order. Hope I don't encounter the same experience on my next visit because I loved the food!

Wow, this place is a hidden gem! Had dinner here last night for the first time and I was really impressed. I tried the house specialty, focaccia col formaggio, which is not something I was particularly familiar with, but it was love at first bite. A wonderful combination of crisp and salty base and creamy cheese. How do the Italians manage to do 'simple' so well? I can also recommend the slow cooked beef cheek, which was so beautifully tender it yielded easily to a spoon and was utterly delicious. The pizzas looked amazing too so I'll definitely be back to try those.

Had breakfast here, really good and tasty, they make bread and pastries on the premises. There is also a huge pizza oven, but didn't get to try the pizzas, guessing they would be great. Tried the almond croissant, and a yummy custardy pastry, wonderful! Coffee excellent. From the outside, unasuming, but inside this place is run by some very passionate and generous Italians, bravo!

Wasn't quite sure after my first visit, but after a few more visits I find that I really like it. Pizza is great, should probably try a pasta dish next time though. Great service from most of the staff. They have been good with my kids and I see a mixture of couples and young families but no kids running around so I always have to keep my kids in check! Venue and atmosphere is lovely. It's one of the places that I like to go back to.

This is a great Itallian Restaurant. We had Pizza and "Spaghetti Carbonara". Both very nice. The Pizza base was thin, the topping very generous and not oily. A really great place to go. The staff was very friendly, the place offers nice outdoor seating. Will go there again for sure even though it is a bit away from Darling Street.

The food is incredible. I had this amazing focaccia made of home made puff pastry dough filled up with stracchino (Italian cream cheese), prosciutto and truffle oil. Delicious! As an Italian, I couldn't believe I had to come to Sydney to try such a speciality dish. Amazing gourmet experience accompanied by great service. The dessert was awesome too. Best pizza restaurant in Rozelle - we get pizzas regularly from Reccolab and we love their authentic pizza bases that stay fairly crispy in the box (unlike Salts Meats Cheese) and are generous with their authentic toppings. We've not tried the pasta dishes but they look good to.

An Italian modern venue with pleasant outdoor seating and appealing bakery in which freshly made panini, focaccia and pastries are made. For starters we ordered their focaccia with formaggio, a delicious pizza-style bread filled with cheese, for mains we got the seafood risotto and the pipis spaghetti. While we couldn't get enough of the focaccia, the two mains were lacking that seafood flavour we were expecting, the spaghetti just tasted like oil and the rice just like tomatoes. I will visit ReccoLab again because of the great service and good location but i will most likely stick to pizza, focaccia and spritz.

Fabulous long lazy Sunday lunch. The ReccoLab staff were attentive but unobtrusive. The food was fresh and full of flavour. Try the kingfish carpaccio, it was sublime. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed and it felt like we were in a little corner of Italy.

Came for $20 all you can eat pizza night. Ordered a focaccia to be eaten as an entre before the main pizzas. Was served one pizza then the focaccia? Also, you receive one piece of each pizza they serve you but the turnaround for your next slice is way too long. We sometimes waited more than 10 minutes for a slice... All you can eat means you need to keep up with the demand please. Id spend more money if this was the case. The wine and atmosphere was lovely along with the viewable kitchen.

We stopped at ReccoLab for dinner last night and found a wonderful Italian eatery with lovely food and wines. We both appreciated the attentive and friendly service which was always delivered with efficiency and a smile. The fish if the day, which was wild caught Mulloway served with leeks and zucchini was delicious as was the glass of Cannonau, a wine variety I had not tried before. Finished off with a couple of coffees and the night was thoroughly enjoyable, looking forward to returning to sample more of the menu.

Good pizzas but bad service. Seems like there’s no system for wait staff to look after specific tables. Eg our pizzas came out 30 mins + after the kids. Disappointing.
