I'm purebred Italian and this is so far one of the best pizza I have ever had in my life, both in Italy and Australia. I had a 'simple' bufala and my partner a 'salsiccia e friarielli', a rare gem which is nearly impossible to find in Sydney. Staff members are super nice and I loved the atmosphere. I can't believe people giving 1 star to this place for not having sauce on a steak or pizza sauce too raw, this is b*******s. Pizza is amazing and if you can't appreciate it, then you don't deserve it!

The margarita pizza is true Napoli style. As good as, if not better than my other favourite in Lane Cove, but a much quiter venue with fast, efficient and professional service. Price very reasonable. Can't fault it.

Ordered 2 takeaway pizzas during lockdown! Just happened to walk past this place on a Saturday night! The pizzas were woodfired and simply delicious! Haven't had a pizza this good in years. Highly recommend! As a bonus they gave me a bottle of chianti for free for picking up the pizzas.

Tried the coffee on a super wet afternoon. A fussy me as usual ordered an almond decaf latte in freezing cold wind, then gave up standing out there, jumped inside the house to be sheltered from the crying weather. The coffee cheered me up right after the first sip! It was not that strong as that in other cafes, but was amazing on the breath! Beautiful smell going through your lungs and filling your nose with some joyful ... Hmmm maybe some flower smell, just a little bit... Like the sunshine suddenly flowed throughthe cloud. It made my day wonderful. It's the best among the that I've tried in Sydney CBD. AND amazing staff members as well. Good on you.😉

We booked as a group, were seated quickly with menus, a friendly waitress took our coffee orders and then food, and it was all quite seamless, with coffee & meals mostly arriving within 10 minutes. Most had scrambled eggs on toast with a few various other dishes, but I went for fried eggs and it was pretty solid, not greasy, nicely cooked and crunchy toast. It didn't have any amazing flavour but it was good quality. If you're looking for a quick mid-priced breakfast, give it a go.

The pizzas were ok, but because we chose the "all you can eat" they were very insistent on the closing time (although we had 2 hours left) and with the "last pizza" (it makes you feel uncomfortable asking for the next one). -- Hi owner, thanks for your fast and complete response. We arrived on a Thursday at approximately 7:45 with no reservation and we sat on a long table outside (green tiles I think). By 9 they were already asking "is this the last pizza?"... by 9:30 we left after being asked a few times.

Loved this place! Such a little gem of a hideaway - incredible pizza! Simple food - delicious and hearty - my fav type of menu! No fusion - no pea sized mains - no pushy wait staff slugging drinks with your meal! I would describe the vibe as romantic & cosy, but comfortable enough for a catch-up with friends. It’s Not trying to be too rustic or too cool. Something’s kinda old school about this place. Did I mention No fusion dishes on the menu - thank GOD!!! It’s unapologeticly simple and elegant. No hipsters or foodie tryhards in sight. At least on the night I was there. I’m definitely going back and in fact will gladly add it to my top 5!

If the review was based on the food only this would probably just be a 3 star review. We were 8 people for a farewell lunch and the pizzas were pleasant enough but a bit soggy, the spaghetti was a bit soggy as well apparently. The great saving grace for the restaurant however was the lovely atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff who really looked after us.

I’ve been coming here since they opened. This place is exactly what you would want from a modern Italian/Australian restaurant. The food and service is spot on. From a morning coffee or breakfast to a fast lunch or wine and dinner, they don’t disappoint. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive. Overall, a warm lovely place to go.

This is light bright and airy with great service. I was on my way to a meeting and stopped on my way and was not disappointed. Had a couple of coffees and then some eggs and toast. Water brought to the table, follow up by the waitress. I understand this open a few nights a week, pity it is not more. I came to this place on the recommendation of my son who knows I can picky when it comes to coffee - "Is it as good as Melbourne" stuff. And yes, the coffee (expresso) was very good and great attentive service toi boot. The outside setting in the open surroundings is spacous giving rise to a relaxing atmosphere.

What to say about this beautiful place, it is almost as walking into Italy over your lunch brake, the food the head chef prepare is beautiful and tasty. The coffee is carefully made and even if it is a great coffee, what drive me there is a good chat with the guys behind the counter. They make you feel at hone.

The perfect place for a lunch with friends, the staff are always a pleasure, they have both indoor and outdoor tables (one big outdoor table that gets sun in summer and even some in winter) and also have some large tables which fit groups of up to around 14 people comfortably. Great coffee, a few beers on tap other bottled options, beautiful pizzas with soft yet firm base you can easily fold in half and eat the proper Italian way (ask for the Prosciutto pizza without the Pesto, my favourite!), enough other options (steak, pasta, seafood) to satisfy anyone at the table. Definately a go to for a Friday lunch with colleagues or drinks after work, just make sure to call to book a table if going at busier times or if you have more than 4 people so you're not disspointed.

Fantastic small and homely hidden away true italian restaurant. Great outdoor and indoor seating to choose from and the service received every time has been nothing short of amazing. I can't recommend this place enough and wanted to put this review here for anyone thinking about going. Just go! You won't regret it and they will have you coming back. Group bookings is also easy, they have huge tables for such an event and it was a smooth process. Bellissimo!
