Certainly deserves the high rating and reservation is essential. Service staff are attentive and polite. Food is well presented and tastes just as good. Tables are spaced far apart so you get privacy. Awesome waterfront views and fresh breeze from the sea as we dined. Ask for the daily specials. King fish ceviche is a must try entree!! Highly recommended!!!

After reading the positive reviews we were excited to try this place. We have a place in the Bay and are always looking/hoping for great dining experiences nearby.
I emailed the restaurant for a booking after hours and then received a text at 9.30pm from Mandy confirming our lunch booking! Impressive…and a sign of good things to follow.
We had lunch and shared our dishes, started with Truffle oil oysters, scallops, turban snail risotto and then had the specials for mains…blue eyed cod and seared tuna. Dessert was a banana/pineapple parfait. All washed down with a lovely Hunter Valley Riesling.
Delicious food, perfectly cooked, absolutely delightful service (including a friendly visit from the chef) and a very fair bill.
What a lovely dining experience, bravo 👏.

This is my favourite restaurant in the bay area. Exceptional food, staff and location. I am always guaranteed a delightful experience. Highly recommend
J. T.
This place is a must-try! My large family went to many top recommended restaurants during our trip to Port Stephens and this was by far the best meal we had. The entrees and mains were delicious, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
Most enjoyed dishes were the kingfish ceviche, seared scallops, kid’s carbonara, beef fillet and duck breast.
Absolutely would come back again.

Best restaurant in ltp..Being a local had lunch and breakfasts many times and every time the taste and the quality of food amazed us.
Very fresh and tasty food and the staffs are amazing❤️ Highly recommanded🌞

A real hidden gem that I love visiting each and every time. The specials of the local produce are spectacular.
M. W.
What an amazing restaurant! We went here for lunch - and the views were amazing, the nice breeze, the warm sunlight - it was breathtaking.
The food was delicious! The service was friendly - from the moment I made the booking right through to the greeting when we arrived and table service, the service was amazing. And what a treat it was to meet the chef! Highly recommended! And would definitely visit again next time we go to Port Stephens!

My husband and I snagged a couple of hours child free and came for lunch. Staff were attentive without being overbearing, the food was fresh, of high quality and tasty and the view was lovely. Where to go for a lovely meal that’s not too pretentious. We’ll be back.

We came here for lunch on a drizzly Wednesday and felt comforted when we arrived at the restaurant situated by the water with views of the rather nostalgic looking Marina. The food is exquisite and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the tuna (cooked to perfection) with tasty risotto. Highly recommended for those looking for a special dining experience.
S. B.
Beautiful view from the restaurant and the staff are friendly. I wasn't sure about getting a table on the weekend without a booking but I was very lucky and the lady was extremely nice. The dishes were well presented and tasted delicious. It was a lovely dining experience.

Definitely didn't expect the food and customer service with Poyer's.
Now this place is a hidden gem, tucked away near the waters behind your normal pizza and small retail shops.
We were greeted genuinely with a smile and a warm welcome.
The food was Yummo.
We had an entree, can't remember what it was .....I think was a snail with a bit of pasta on it. But it was good hey.
I had the Jew Fish with Gnocchi. That was sensational!
What made this experience memorable was our host is very attentive and ensure that we were having a great time. Mind you, we were a big group (a bit noisy) and most of the patrons were couples.
Now the icing of the cake is in their customer service. The Head Chef coming around greeting all the patrons! Now you don't get that anywhere. My mates and I were very impressed.
Price of the food, doesn't matter. You get the food and the warmth of their customer service.
I wouldn't be surprised if this place has an awesome view of the sunset too
Where's that Sixth Star 😊😊😊
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐+⭐

Incredible meal. Worth travelling any distance for the food, service and personal touch by the chef touching base with all of his customers. Blown away. My Bill could’ve been double and I still would’ve been happy!
J. O.
We had a lovely lunch at The Poyers. They fit us in at the last minute despite being very busy and the food was amazing. Fresh seafood cooked in interesting ways with great flavours. Will be back

We tried Poyers for breakfast this morning .
The quality of the food was exceptional and the service was pleasant.
We were sufficiently impressed to book in for lunch for my upcoming significant birthday later in the month.
We both enjoyed our meal very much and we are looking forward to our lunch.
P. L.
Super enthusiastic and friendly staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable.
Menu well thought out with diverse protein options with nicely accompanied sauce flavours the standout was the perfectly cooked snapper with slightly tart & sweet risotto and the creamy mushroom risotto with poached chicken - risotto was so pillowy soft with the right balance of French goats cheese. Overall very lovely experience. Highly recommend.
R. D. R.
We found a little gem in Lemon Tree Passage. The host was very tentative to us even though the restaurant was full. I’ll come back just for the truffle oil oyster. One of the the best restaurant in port Stephen area.
G. L.
This is the first time I review a cafe because every thing is too good beyond my expectations. The staff are so nice friendly. The dish so fresh and tasty
G. M.
We had Easter Sunday lunch. Fantastic experience. Kingfish Ceviche was spectacular! A party going on in your mouth! How do you make pistachios more delicious? Put them in tempura batter! Snapper was local, fresh and delicious. The kids meal carbonara was worth coming back for alone. Friendly, attentive service. We will make The Poyers a regular when in Port Stephens.
r. a.
We arrived a bit late but it was totally worth it! Chef came to our table to check that everything was ok. Food was superb! We ordered four different mains and all of us complimented the dish. Immaculate service.
G. C.
The Poyers will not disappoint! The staff, food and wine are first class and is our favourite restaurant in Port Stephens.
T. J.
Excellent value, excellent location, excellent service. High quality seafood and all delightfully cooked. We really enjoyed our lunch here and the the remote location added to the fun and the experience
C. K.
I look for four elements when out to dine. Exceptional food and wine, great customer service and a view to die for. Poyer’s tickets all the boxes. They also buy local seafood and support NSW seafood. An experience you will want to keep on going back for.
M. H.
Our family of 6 had dinner at this lovely little fine dining venue and was not disappointed. We got there just before sunset to enjoy the surroundings. Highly recommend the Duck Confit and Parmesan Truffle Oysters. Service was excellent, we had a lovely evening
T. L.
Fabulous & well worth the trip. We often go to Port Stephens & have wanted to come to Poyer’s - a nice 35-40min drive. Beautifully set on the water with friendly staff. From start to finish, every meal was delicious. We had oysters & the spinner crab ravioli for starters- both excellent. Mains were the duck confit (very nice) & the salmon with spaghetti which was very well put together & tasty. Pasta cooked perfectly. Definitely try the vanilla creme brûlée & a coffee to end the meal. Great spot for Sunday lunch, I think this will become a regular spot for us. Well done!
G. C.
Loved the food, the cocktails and the service. The chef even comes around to see how everything was. A must try when in the area.
T. C.
What a surprise! We had been told what a excellent restaurant this was by 4 or 5 friends and they were right.
Lovely ambience, great staff and superb meal.
Reasonable prices.
Not sure that you could ask for more.!
K.
Food was way beyond my expectations. If you are in Tanilba/Lemon Tree well worth a visit
M. T.
Hidden Gem is an Understatement, food was beyond expectations and the lovely staff with big smiles and friendly talk, just made it perfection. Will definitely be dining here more often and they're great with kids.
J. W.
Small but interesting menu with a very nice list of specials, I had the beef cheeks, possibly best ever, even abalone and swordfish were available with 2 having those and all agreed they were beautifully prepared and a delite to eat. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly, where else would the owner and chief take the time to visit each table and share information about your meal, very nice touch. For those interested all food and drinks are very well priced and extremely good value. For a great meal in pleasant circumstances this must rate as #1 in the area...enjoy!
A. P.
Location, views and THE BEST food, staff are friendly and efficient without being in your face, loved it
M. P.
A little piece of France in Lemontree Passage... the cuisine was divine..the service excellent! An enjoyable experience, will definitely return!!!
K. M.
The staff were absolutely amazing, recommended me the chicken and did NOT disappoint. It was one of the best chickens ive had, the waitress was so kind, i wish i was a local here.
V. C.
Best place for lovely freshly cooked seafood. Great service and location
P. G.
A little disappointed with this visit. Abalone was chewy and both main meals were kinda boring... Nothing horrible just average. The service was first rate though.
D. C. a. 4.
this little resturant is a rare gem. exquisite food and menu selection, tucked away in the tiny bayside town of Lemon Tree , on the SW side of Port Stephens. a recently installed new public jetty makes this the perfect place to visit by boat, for lunch or dinner, or a morning coffee. i’m not sure who is responsible for this place but the food and menu is as good as anything you would see in Melbourne or Sydney. anyway well done, very impressed :)
D. E.
The Poyers delivered excelent food at the picturest location of LemonTree Passage. The restaurant has water views over Port Stephens and is on one level. A small beach with a sea netted pool was nearby along with a childrens playground.
P. F.
We were delighted to lunch here today. Delicious oysters - particularly those with speck. Tasty abalone and scallops washed down with the Hunters finest Scarborough Chardonnay. Personable and attentive staff. We ate on the street side as we were accompanied by our small dog. Moored at the nearby public wharf. Thoroughly recommended.
G. M.
We had an absolutely AMAZING lunch!!! The cuisine is the best that we've had in a very long time and most definitely the most fantastic in Port Stephens. Great menu. Lovely local wines. The specials are straight from the fisherman mooring outside the restaurant. Ludo and Mandy have put so much effort into this little piece of paradise. It's a place you must go to and you will continue to return. Thank you!!!
A. W.
First class menu and service. Top French chef, management and staff.
It compares to Sydney's top restaurants at a fraction of the price with the freshest of locally caught seafood, plus other dishes. This is a must visit place and a tribute to the owners and staff.
I'll make this an annual visit with friends.
C. A.
Excellent Poyer's brunch experience.
Highly recommended
L.
Insanely good food & amazing service! Highly recommend! Staff are so friendly!
L. W.
Always great food and service!
Lovely view aswell 👍
I. P.
Amazing, carefully crafted and well-thought-out food and genuinely friendly staff. All 4 wines we ordered were great and to top it off, the music playlist set the mood beautifully. Such a gem of a place. Couldn't recommend it enough!
G. O.
Perfection. We recently ate here for my partners birthday. I am coeliac and vegan and although there were no options on the menu the chef offered both an entree and main that were superb. Our service from Joyce was excellent, friendly and attentive. Mandy was extremely helpful both over the phone upon booking and at arrival. My partner loved all of his dishes, oysters, scallops and abalone.
We can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!
V. M.
AMAZING! My partner and I are from Sydney and dined here tonight after seeing the amazing google reviews and we cannot stop thinking about our lovely dinner! Everything was so beautifully thought out and presented. The flavours were absolutely on point. The only tiny tiny thing was we wish the oyster dressing with the wasabi and balsamic had more of an acidic flavour but it was still nice! Cannot wait to come back the service was also 5 stars!!
K. U.
Great food, service and atmosphere!
P. h.
Great breakfast and Coffe.
Staff were very friendly
A most visit
M. H.
Amazing food, great service from friendly staff. My new favourite restaurant
R. Y.
The food here was beyond my expectations. We stayed at an Airbnb about ten minutes walk from the restaurant which was perfect. The seafood was so fresh and the staff were super friendly. My two favourite dishes were the snapper on a spiced risotto (one of the specials) and the swordfish and octopus fettucini. Incredible! Also the chef came out and had a chat afterwards and asked is how the meal was. He was a really lovely and humble guy. This kind of thing has never happened at any restaurant we've eaten at in Sydney. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.
S. S.
Delightful tastes of the Bay, fabulous location, relaxing and great service. We'll be back.
B. B.
This was so 'me'. I loved the experience, the food was next level and the friendly waitress was alot of fun. Her passion and skills were a refreshing change from a standard venue.
A quick visit from the head chef is always a nice touch, and his wife upon check out suggesting to use the NSW vouchers as she told a great story about the chef made the night.
100% worth a visit. Check out the specials and order something you wouldn't usually get!! My wife who doesn't really eat sea food commented after tasting my snapper and gnocci, "it's like a dream"
Id recommend stopping in at the gin bar before or after too!! Well worth the trip from Nelson Bay or Newcastle!
J. J.
Magnificent setting, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, the service was second to none and the menu extensive. Until the specials were read the choice was hard, then it became even harder! We will be back OFTEN! Highly recommended 5 stars plus.
R. W.
The food was exceptional the service was exemplary... what a fantastic dining experience. We will definitely be back.
Do yourself a favour, make sure you get to Lemon Tree Passage and eat at Poyers. It will be a highlight!!

Words really can't do this place justice, nor is 5 stars enough. The Poyers is one of the most exceptional places I have ever eaten at.
The food is anazing. I savoured my scallops one small bite at a time. Incredible flavour. From there the food just got even better.
Our waitress would have to be one of the most friendly I have ever met, and her passion for the food was infectious.
The view is awesome, and the place was not over crowded.
We did the drive from Soldiers Point, and it was absolutely worth every minute.
I can not believe such a gem exists in a quiet community. One day they will make a movie about it.
S. G.
Food was absolutely lovely and the staff were fantastic! Always a beautiful dining experience no matter what time of day we go there
C. C.
A small, unpretentious restaurant that is popular with locals and visitors alike with their friendly service, decent prices and fantastic food. The owners bring a French influence to the menu, with the husband (chef) being French and very good in the kitchen. At dinner, the scallops were beautifully caramelised on the outside and still a bit translucent in the middle, the seafood bisque was full of glorious seafood flavour with the ravioli pasta had the right amount of bite.
A special shout-out to Joy who served us at dinner whose energy and enjoyment of her job just made dinner a really lovely night.
My partner and I were only staying a couple of nights and ended up eating there three times! With so many delicious options for breakfast, I only wished we lived close by. Note: When booking you may want to request a table in the shade during the day in Spring/Summer as it really does get hot on the front tables sitting right in the sun, unless you enjoy sun-baking. They don't have blinds over the front windows at the moment.
If you're in Port Stephens, check this place out!
C. D.
My husband and I have made it a point to enjoy lunch at the Poyers each time we have had a holiday in the Port Stephens area. The food is excellent...compliments to a very creative chef, the service is very good and the outlook is very calming and pleasant. Nothing is a problem to the staff who are just delightful. It has always been a pleasure to dine at the Poyers and our latest experience has been no exception. Pricey?? no !!...a worthwhile experience!
Thank you.
M. S.
Great service, awesome food, amazing view!
J. C.
Dined here last night with my partner. The service and restaurant was impeccable! Staff were friendly and cheerful. Food was amazingly delicious! Highly reccomend the gnocchi entree - so light and fluffy.
D. C.
Was there again today for lunch. (This is my 3rd time)
This time taking my parents along for the first time.
Once again, great food with attentive and friendly staff. We were booked in for 12:30 and the place was pretty much full by 1:30. Located over the water there was a refreshing breeze so was a great place for lunch on a 30+ degree day. If you are looking for something out of the way with a great location, food and service you can't go wrong with The Poyer's.
M. H.
I really loved this place. We just walked in but they were able to accommodate us outside and we enjoyed that view. The food was to almost die for, 😉. Really good well cooked i could not have asked for more. For dessert I had crème brûlée but the sugar on the top was burnt and bitter had to scrap it off but the rest of it was just mouth watering.
Staff very lovely people told us places to go see and climb.
Yes i would go back each time i am back in the area
D. M.
We had an amazing dinner last night, the family all had a three course meal and each of us were delighted with the food. Each course was tasty and delicious with the staff so friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes. We even got greeted by the chef and the owner, making our family dinner extra special. I can not recommend the restaurant enough as a great place to have dinner.
N. A.
Breakfast-french omelette was yum. Benedict was jus ok. Starters- Abalone is a must try!Lunch- snapper was good, risotto was slightly under, duck confit wasn't great as expected - required some extra seasoning n extra cooking time. Dessert- Banoffee is delicious, but plum tart was the worst. Drinks were good. Oysters were the highlight. Superub customer service.
V. V.
Went here for dinner last night. The food was absolutely delicious, perfect. As was the service, what a stand out restaurant. Would definitely recommend and go back when in the area again.
H. S.
Beautiful food and coffee, lovely service and nice atmosphere
S. T.
Our group of 6 decided to have dinner here based on the high Google ratings and it definitely did not disappoint. Food was great and staff were so lovely. The chef even did a round to every table to check that everything was ok - don't get that often!
A. B.
A beautiful evening. Fantastic food. Excellent service. Loved meeting the chef, you can tell he takes pride in the food he serves.
B. L.
Menu covers all tastes and the food is lovingly prepared and presented.Vegetarians can request what they want.I had a fresh fig salad. The wine selection is extensive and the sweets are beyond delicious.Customer service is very friendly like a family.Dont miss this lovely place overlooking the water where the chef takes the time to come out and greet the people.
R. B.
We have lost count of the times we've come to visit and no doubt there'll be countless times to come. We had the Oysters to start (which are all great and so fresh but our favourites are the natural and truffle). Then entrees of turbot and abalone (having abalone is just such a special opportunity). For mains a medium rare cooked lamb and the swordfish & octopus fettuccine (the swordfish comes as a fillet and is so succulent and the lamb melt in the mouth tender).
I often think I should post photos, but then I think, no, the delicious food, delightful staff, delicate wine and divine location shouldn't be spoilt by superfluous devices.
L. R.
What a great location. Meals were spot on. The hero of this place is the service provided.
Without a doubt, the friendliest and most efficient staff I have come across.
Will return there for sure. Thanks Joy
S. R.
Superb and unpretentious, visited for lunch and had a lovely time, the food was amazing and the service exceptional, we loved that the chef would serve some of the dishes and make sure that we were well looked after, even my 6 year old. We loved the variety of the menu and specials which had a bit of something for everyone. We had tapas, specials, mains and dessert and couldn't fault anything. It was well worth the trip and we will definitely be returning!
P. F.
Our waitress was perfect. Friendly and explained the specials and brought table water asap. Food was tasty although portion size was a little small. Atmosphere was a little stale but the view is beautiful. Pricing is probably about 25% too high but I imagine waterfront rent would excuse some of the cost. 4 stars.
D. H.
Well looked after, wonderful setting and the food was outstanding. Chef came out and had a quick chat. We had a lovely time to celebrate. Local tip: Went for a stroll along the.boardwalk after which added to the experience.
F. M.
Such fantastic service, with delicious and generous serves of food. Top marks for staff that were friendly and patient with kids, and *checked with the chef regarding allergies*! I had tapas (arancini, chicken and octopus), and the kids had absurdly huge portions of crumbed chicken with chips and carbonara. The cocktails were also delicious.
D. C.
Absolutely wonderful!!... Amazing food, fantastic view.. and the loveliest staff.. We will be back!!... Thanks Guys..:)
P. L.
Master class from multi award winning Ludo and Mandy. My confit of duck with gnocci in orange sauce was awesome, chased down by magnificent purple of 'Brick in the Wall' Shiraz. The most understated, not to be under-rated desert of creme brulee, best way to sum up a night as 'perfect' in French. We already look forward to our next visit - soon.
N. W.
Armagnac, Calvados Hmmm this looked interesting! Ambience? El fresco overlooking the mangroves and the marina. Trés bien. The food Superbe! Délicieux. An absolute pearl at Lemon Tree Passage. Hope you can get a table. 😉
s. c.
Enjoyed a fabulous lunch......with excellent customer care..the food was so sumptuous...will visit again and again..many thanks to the Chef and Staff.x
E. C.
Lovely cosy restaurant by the water and what excellent food. Loved the Benofee dessert. Mandy the host is so welcoming and accommodating! A must visit if you're in the area!
G. W.
Had the pleasure of dining at Poyer's restaurant for dinner. The all courses were exquisitely balanced and the staff such a pleasure to chat with. We are looking forward until the next opportunity to dine here - was so worth it.
S. C.
Absolute fine dining, happy friendly staff. Food exceptional and a really beautiful atmosphere looking over the water.
Can't wait to come back, even if we have to drive an hour 😊😊
P. M.
Returned here after several years absence and it is still amazing. VEGETARIANS NOTE.. One of our group is a well-travelled vegetarian and he said it was "like dining back in France". His words exactly. We started with a serving of garlic bread which was very good. One of our group had Tapas, one Salmon and I had the charred beef fillet. Great food and really well presented. The others had sweets for dessert and I had a very generous cheese platter. This quaint little restaurant serves food as good as any of the most expensive restaurants in the Port Stephens area. A really nice touch is that after dinner, Ludovic, (an authentic French Chef) and his wife Mandy presented themselves at the table to enquire about the meal. This is genuinely a must try restaurant. Licensed and very reasonably priced quality food. Thank you for the experience.
m.
Beautiful food with an extensive wine list to pair. Service is excellent and the Chef personally greets you to complete your dining experience. All complimented with a wonderful view.
J. S.
Wow...food is next level, one of the best meals I've ever had. The chef came out for feedback and to say hello (love that). And the service was perfect.
l. p.
As seasoned World travellers we were amazed at the fabulous quality of this restaurant. In little Lemon Tree Passage France has definity arrived. Eat here! You will be transported. Food Service Attention to detail is superb. Now my fave.
K. W.
Very nice food tho I thought could of had more choices of seafood.service was excellent from all the staff, didn't have to long to wait for food, even tho they were busy.and the Chef came out and asked us did we enjoy our lunch. Not many places do that.so I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
D. P.
Only had breakfast but very good food and service. Staff very friendly with big smiles. Very efficient for big group.
D. G.
Great service. Fantastic oysters and the best dessert in Port Stephen's. The peanut parfait - It's been 2 weeks and I'm still dreaming about it
J. S.
The food was too amazing for words, service was the best I've ever had, you couldn't ask for lovelier people. The view was pretty good as well. Very highly recommended.
A. B.
I only took one star off because the price is expensive for the area and going outside to the deck to go the toilets was a bit odd as it's not congenial when it's raining or windy outside. BUT this is an excellent restaurant with fantastic wait staff (they all seem to be women?) and authentic French cuisine. I tried their mushroom and snail risotto and it was exquisite. My go to joint if I need a French fix. Excellent coffee and dessert too. The views are incredible too - get the corner table by booking ahead. This restaurant is putting LTP on the map - a great place to go to for an anniversary or other special occasion. No airs and graces here - Aussie laid back lifestyle with a French kick. Well done Poyers!
S. J.
What an amazing experience, nothing was too much trouble. The chef, and staff were so attentive and thoughtful. The food was out of this world. Well done guys, hope we get to come back and visit you again someday.
J.
I have travelled across the planet and tasted delicious food in the strangest places, and this place is absolutely on the top of my list. What a dining experience!
Highly recommended!
S. D.
Great food, great service, great kids meal selection. To top it all off wonderful views and a playground within viewing distance. This place ticks all the boxes and yet they gave more. The chef noticed that my daughter was complaining about the mushrooms that we're in her very tasty carbonara. So within 5 mins another carbonara sans mushrooms was placed in front of her. We loved this place enough to then make it for breakfast before the drive back to Sydney. Thank you making our mini break even more memorable.
M. D.
Sensational food, outstanding service and impeccable presentation. The waitresses and chef were bubbly, super friendly and attentive. The Tatin and duck confit are must trys!
J. D.
No words can explain how amazing the food and service was here, first time eating at this place and I’ll be back again for sure! Thanks so much to the amazing chefs you guys make beautiful food. The prices are pretty high here but not over the top - you definitely get your money’s worth here !
p. k.
Enjoyed a fabulous meal and excellent table service at Poyer's .The restaurant is located at the marina at Lemontree Passage. From inside the restaurant you can take in views of the water, surrounding park and street life.
G.
Amazing Food !! well trained and knowledgeable staff, the best place in Nelson Bay for having special meals surrounded by such a cozy and special atmosphere.
Ludovic the chef is outstanding:
he has been able to bring his passion, knowledge and professionalism in every single dish.
beautiful memory ,grazie !
K. S.
This restaurant has it all, beautiful location, amazing food and super lovely staff! My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner here. Well worth a visit!
M. M.
A sensation evening. Fabulous and interesting food, very friendly staff and top location. I should also mention the linen napkins.
This place was a real find and well worth the trip to Lemon Tree Passage.
Thank you for making our evening so memorable.
T. E.
This restaurant is amazing. Great food, great coffee, great staff, great view. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. It was a nice touch when the chef came out to check everything was to our satisfaction. Menu selection was varied with lots of yummy and fun choices. Escargo anyone? This is the only restaurant I have found that has my favourite Truffle Percorino. Fantastic experience. Will be back to try the brekky menu. Thanks Abby, Jody and all the staff from Bill and Bernadine
L. J.
My husband and I have been to many excellent restaurants in our time, but Poyers tops the list in every way, friendliness, service and the food oh boy just brilliant, unfortunately we missed another booking as we are Victorians, and needed to hot foot it home, will be back later in year, and will definitely be booking in.
S. M.
The attentiveness of service was good, and I was prepared to overlook the black, 2cm long hairs on our napkins, we could not overlook the thick black hair protruding from the proscuitto wrapped chicken.
The waitress returned from the kitchen, explaining it to be from a pastry brush and removed the item from our bill.
The prosciutto wrapped chicken that we did eat was really dry but the gnocchi/peas/harissa and parmesan were yum.
The mixed dozen oysters were delicious, although the shell grit in every few oysters was less so.
The banoffee and the creme brulee were a good end to the meal.
The restaurant had a pleasant outlook, and was clean and fresh-looking.
S. A.
Excellent food and great service.
J. G.
Today we had our 50th wedding anniversary lunch at The Poyer's. What an amazing lunch we had. Thank you Mandy & Ludovic everything was fantastic, the food, the service & the atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!!
H. C.
I have just had one of the best meals I have ever eaten, Lobster Slipper, with Dragon fruit and a mango sauce, from the Tapas Menu at Poyers. The service was exceptional and so was the desert Cherry Cake with Cherry Ice cream. I can't believe how lucky Lemon Tree Passage is to have such a quality restaurant. Sydney couldn't do better.

Absolutely fabulous meals as always. So good to be back dining out. Never fails to impress with menu and friendly service.

We have had lunch here twice and the food, service, ambiance and staff were all that you could hope for. Lovely food, tastefully presented and partnered with a nice chardonnay made for a great meal.

The best food I had in the two and a half weeks (I went out every day )I have been in Port Stephens -including New Castle-. Good, informative and friendly service, excellent choice of wines. Wonderful location.

What a lovely place! Food is delicious and fairly priced. Wine list is comprehensive and excellent. But best of all is the stunning location and wonderful owners and staff. Poyer's Restaurant is a must.

There were 4 of us (we took our Aged P's out for a special lunch) and we all had something different. None were dissatisfied. My parents don't often order 3 courses but today was an exception. This is the premier restaurant for the Port Stephens. Our only disappointment was that Bastille Day celebrations were booked out... but we got in for cest year. Viva la Poyers, très magnifique merci beaucoup.

We just had tapes for 5 with the house white and red. Unbelievable great service, food was superb (try the baby octopus, softer than any I've tried), such a beautiful back drop. Highly recommended.

Staff are lovely, chef always comes out to say hello. Food is lovely. Location is beautiful.

A perfect setting for a romantic dinner or lunch with a group of friends. The service was excellent and the food delicious. The price is reflective in the presentation and quality of the food and service. Will definitely go back.
