My first experience of a Korean BBQ restaurant. They were just putting the closed sign out as it was late, but the waitress was amazing she said for 2 of us they could still do a dinner if we were quick (we didn't mind at all as we were both very hungry and agreed in an instant). The waitress again was great, explaining the food and doing the BBQ meat. The food was incredible, would recommend for couples, family or groups, and I will definitely be back. Good value to, we had loads of food.

I was planned to just have some kimchi tofu soup and rice. But the waiter told me that I have to order some BBQ after 5 pm. The bbq pork ribs was seasoned and it tasted good without any dipping sauce. The bulgogi soup was not spicy at all, it just went well with rice. The restaurant has a outdoor dining area as well. The waiter will help the customer to do the whole barbecue stuff. A great spot to grab some soju and Korean bbq.

The best BBQ Korea restaurant. I’m the big lover of Korea BBQ and tried many restaurants through Australia but this Restaurant is the best. All staffs are very friendly, good and quick serve. Food is good, BBQ grill trays are changed with every meals. If i come back to Sydney again, i will go to this restaurant definitely.

It's our first time here and we drop in because we saw it was in a nice outdoor and shaded area of the Darling Harbour area. To our surprise, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. We loved the seafood pancake and the bbq baby octopus. The seafood pancake was loaded with squid, octopus and prawns and probably the best one we had in sydney. We have yet to find a korean bbq which served bbq baby octopus so far and this place really didn't disappoint. The service and the staff were all very friendly and generous. We definitely will come again ! Bring cash if possible as u get some discount if u pay with cash.

Let me start off with the wait was worth it. We had to wait 50 minutes, although we just put our name on the list and walked around the city. Customer service is beyond amazing, the best I've ever encountered. Regular checks for satisfaction, changing the grill, providing sided and just cooking and cutting up the meat for you with a smile. I've provided a menu for you to check the prices and a receipt to see what our meal came to a total of. The rice was so chewy and delicious, it's easily the best rice at any restaurant I've ever been to. I think the reputation of this restaurant does not need me to commend it anymore. My only suggestion is hiring professional cleaners to make the outside more appealing, though I understand the cleanliness may be hard to maintain due to how busy Dixon street is. I would definitely come here again when I visit Sydney. love love love, absolutely amazing! oh, P.S you get DISCOUNTS if you pay by cash starting with $70+ and receiving $5 discount. I can't remember the other discounts, but there are three tiers. What's there not to love??

Fantastic first impression dining here last night. Not only was the food fresh and tasted incredible, but Hae-Won (Apologies if this is mispelled) provided us with fantastic service. She was delightful, very happy and helped out my parents with how things flowed as she had a feeling they were not used to this sort of dining. Definitely will be returning!

Another nice Korean BBQ restaurant in the city. No booking required just come a bit early before peak hours or expects a queue. The meat is fresh and superior quality. Staff are friendly, and you know what they are going to do the cooking. Limit to 1.5 hours seating but serving time is superb, and no they don't use charcoal. They also offer a discount if you paid cash plus min spend of $50 to pay with a card.

It was a really good experience, the waiters were exceptionally friendly and helpful. You really feel welcome there. Normally people need to wait here in a queue, I was lucky, as it was no queue, but it would be worth to wait if needed. The food was also good, I can say it is one of the best places I have visited in Sydney. And the prices are very good as well. Only one thing is, that the place is not good for 1 person, as you need to order minimum two types of meat, which is a bit too much.

Great Korean BBQ place with lots of space and seating inside and outside! Lots of delicious meats as well as sides are available, and highly recommend the BBQ set if coming with a group. My friend took me here once and I have kept coming back ever since! They are so cheap and the quality is amazing! The service is good as well. They cook your bbq for you and cut it up so it is easy to eat. The barbeque meat is the best especially the pork! The egg pot is mouth watering. The side dishes are very generous. Absolutely love this place and have been impressed every time i come here. It is nice that they have an outdoor eating area too!

Let me set the scene: We're just out of lockdown and it's me and my partner's first time eating out since July. We're a little nervous tbh as it's been so long since our and social skills are no longer upto par. Enter Haley(I hope that's how her name is spelt) from Yang San Park. She made the experience so memorable for us by recommending how to eat all the dishes as well as being incredibly friendly throughout our entire time there. Whilst the food was amazing, the customer service is what made the night for us!!!

This place gets busier after 6-6:30. We went there at like 5:30 and ordered foods. There were enough staffs and since it wasn’t that busy, the staffs did all our bbq cutting and replacing the grill plates and they were pretty quick too. Outstanding service! I would give 20/10 This is what i love about this place, the service is amazing, they grill and cook all the raw meats for you. You just wait until its ready and straight eat it. Do not forget to order the steam egg guys and do not share it! I always find it not enough if i share the steam egg. Lol. Also, Don’t forget to try the flavor soju, it goes really well with the food. Came here with work colleagues on a dinner outing, and for starters, we ordered a Seafood Pan Cake and Steam Egg Pot which leaves you wanting to go back for more. For mains, got an assortment of quality meats which lives up to its price tag. The meats are tender and fill you up. There are different kinds of condiments served on the side complimentary, so make sure you try all of them. For drinks, we went for their typical Soju as we all love Soju. If you aren't fond of Soju, they do offer a small selection of local beers. So, be sure to check it out. The restaurant staff are welcoming and polite. Their customer service is consistent. They are very knowledgeable and insist to help you cook the meat on the bbq all the time. Otherwise, you can do it yourself. Keep in mind that the venue can sometimes get busy because of its popularity and location. There are many shops closeby. It's on the far end of the Chinatown precinct and a 30-second walk to nearby shops. If you want to avoid the queue, book ahead. Seating is outdoors. However, it's still worth visiting. Overall, we were most impressed by their customer service and will come back here again!

Food tasted good! The potato side dish is delicious! The reason I gave 3 stars was because I felt like I was being hurried to eat my meal ... I understand that they're very busy and there were people waiting outside, but I thought it was a bit inappropriate to take my sauces and side dishes while I was still eating. I was also repeatedly asked if we were finished with our noodles when we were still going. Here the staff cook the meat for you - the down side is that I felt like I had to eat quickly to match the speed at which they were cooking everything!

There are soo many positive feedback i want to give to this restaurant. Friendly customer service, the waitress serve and cook the meat for us so we can really enjoying eating without the hassle to grill the meat myself - which sometimes i overcook. I really appreciate restaurant that gives great customer service as i find many place has lost this quality but this place certainly has not. Meat is cook perfectly by the waitress. They use charcoal and this is one of my favorite way to have my bbq, result is tender and delicious meat. The quality and quantity of the food comes with good value/nothing is over price. very very happy with our set menu of $45/person that comes with different types of cuts and range of beef, pork, chicken, and steam egg. Payment with cash will give you benefit/discount, e.g. $70 with cash payment will receive $5 discount and $100 receive $10 and so on. Highly recommended and may have to queue after 7pm.

I think one of the best Korean BBQ experience you can get in Sydney, food is tasty, service is fast and spot on. We were looked after by Jackson, who was always around and helping with bbq. It's busy and because it's popular you have to usally wait 10-15mins at the entrance, no big deal for me as it's worth it!

To date, this is hands down the best Korean BBQ we've had in Australia. Some people might not like having their food cooked for them, but for us, the opportunity to have all of the meats cooked and cut perfectly, evenly divided up to each side of the table with friendly tips on how best to enjoy or eat them as per proper Korean tradition is not something we would complain about. The egg souffle thing... incredible, the potato with what I think was raspberry sauce... genius, I really could not find fault in any of the food. This dining experience also highlighted how some other Korean BBQ restaurants may have been a bit stingy, masking their portion sizes by providing rice to help fill you up, it was not needed here. We will remember and return to this place on future trips to Sydney in the years to come, thank you.

Amazing owner and venue. Long waits and no bookings for big groups but well worth it. Requested poktan-ju from owner shot glass of soju and pint of beer and he entertained us and super friendly guy. Bill was only $450 for 9 people for drinks and BBQ set menu and they offered us a huge discount as well.

This has been my go to KBBQ place for so many years. The food is amazing and what makes this place perfect is the service from the waiters and waitresses who slice and cook the meat for us. Everytime I have gone there they have always greeted us in such a friendly manner and we would always have fun conversations together as well. They would also tell us the best way to eat the meat and the side dishes.I have always brought my friends who wanted to try kbbq here and not only do they agree that the food is amazing but also the staff and their service. I would only not recommend this place if you strictly prefer to cook the meat yourself and believe that cooking the meat yourself is part of the experience of kbbq. But honestly though, coming to this place with friendly staff and perfect service with amazing food is already a wonderful experience itself and I would continue to come to this place whenever the occassion arises.

It is very hard to give this restaurant a rating, because the food here is fantastic. My wife and I happily travel almost two hours to eat here. The trouble with this place is that the staff are quite rude to the point where you feel like they are constantly lecturing you and telling you what to do. Hands down, the best Korean BBQ in Sydney. The service is fantastic, so is the meat and the condiments. They actually offer you refill which I have never seen in other Korean BBQ restaurants. The only downside was the slightly small portions which is negligible given the meat melts in your mouth.

The waiter will help you cook meats to perfection and will help you choose the best dipping sauce for the type of meat. The hands free part of this Korean BBQ is greatly appreciated when everyone at the table had a little bit too much soju to drink, and makes the whole dining experience so much better because you know that everyone is able to drink as much as they like and enjoy K BBQ at the same time without worrying overcooking meats under influence. Food looks and tastes fresh, the cold noodles is also a must try at this place! Really wish to have found this gem earlier! It probably will be my go to K BBQ from now on!

Has been my favourite KBBQ in the city for years now. Great value, great food, a simple yet totally effective menu that doesn't take 2 hours to navigate, and very attentive waitstaff that cook for you too. Sure it helps their turnover, but even still, I have never felt rushed at all, and I can focus on eating and conversation (but can cook if I feel like it!). Plus they give you a discount if you pay cash! Really top notch place

I love the food here! My family and i have visited here many times. The meat is always fresh and we love cooking it the way like it. The sides are also quite tasty and they top them up as you finish them. The drink and acohol selection is also quite good and reasonably priced. The only downside is finding parking.

Friendly staff, they always keep an eye on you. Coming from Melbourne where staff usually rush all the food to be cook so you can get out of there turn out the meet will either be overcooked or dry. Staff here are actually keeping an eye on your eating speed and cook just right before the meal finished, keeping it juicy and hot. Staff also are very friendly and keeping communication with you. I went here a few weeks ago on a date with my boyfriend because we both love kbbq so much. Not only was the food impeccable and of high caliber, the meat was so tender and soft to chew. The staff cooked it perfectly! Made it so much easier for us to sit there and eat the gorgeous spread of side dishes. This is my favourite Korean BBQ place. It's relatively decent prices and good value. The sides are unlimited and they'll just keep refilling everything for you. The staff are always attentive and ready to serve/help you. But the biggest reason I love this place is that it's the only Korean BBQ place I know that the wait staff actually do the 'cooking' for you. They come by your table at perfectly timed internals to replace the grate, place the meat, flip the meat, and cut it up for you to eat. It's not intrusive at all and it makes it so that you can focus on your company rather than worrying over whether you've burned the meat.

My go to if you have no idea (like me) is to do the set menu for $21 pp which basically includes 5 meats and an egg souffle. Everything comes so quickly, they cook the meata for you infront of you. It's a great experience and the staff is so friendly. If you dont know just ask and they will tell you what youre eating and best way to eat it. One of the good Korean bbq restaurants in Sydney, that knows to keep it to solid basics. We've visited on Friday evening and the place got packed from pretty early, despite being a large venue. There are outdoor seats which is definitely a plus since otherwise bbq can get pretty smoky. This place uses genuine charcoal fire for your grill, rather than gas fire. It adds smoky aroma to all things you're bbq-ing. The staff will visit your table every few minutes to grill the meat, and cut it up for you. They will also replace the used mesh to clean one very frequently, to make sure your meat doesn't taste burnt up. Menu focuses heavily to meat, and there isn't much else. There were 10 different types of meat on offer. Marinated pork and beef were both deliciously done. Side dishes were pretty minimal compared to other Korean restaurants.
